I really dig this place - been a handful of times, both the NA and boozy cocktails are well done…read more Bar staff is knowledgable with a very well equipped bar - on a recent visit my wife didn't see anything that caught her mood and they happily made something else for her. Food has always been good, from apps to mains. I don't think I've had a burger here, yet...most recently I had the fried chicken, which had been well marinated and cooked - juicy, flavorful, plentiful. Vibe is always chill, here. Now that the weather's warming up, outdoor seating is available. I usually make a reservation, but my sense is for a couple one could almost always walk in without a rez and get seated quickly. One of my favorite east-side places...if it was a little closer to me I'd be there all the time!

I have to reduce several stars because:…read more 1. They charge garbage credit card transaction fees. Any percentage they charge will get deducted from tipping and discourage us from coming again. 2. They no longer validate parking in the garage behind it since several years ago. Street parking is limited and painful sometimes. 3. They exited Resy network a few years ago - that was one of the reasons we kept coming. 4. The food is still good but the quality is declining. The "+add brisket" option which costs $10 on top of the Mac and Cheese was the driest I've had in many years. They also removed menu items like duck chicken liver mouse which were really good.

I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese and got a cinnamon roll to go. Their cinnamon rolls are the best and they're huge! All their brunch options are well portioned. Disappointing experience at a long-time favorite I used to…read morelove this place because of the famous chef, but unfortunately, it feels like it's going downhill. The space is huge, but the service was remarkably slow. There was no one at the front to greet us when we walked in, and the bakery counter was left unattended for a while, leaving customers waiting. While our specific server was kind, the overall vibe from the staff wasn't very welcoming. As for the food, my husband had the steak burrito. It was large and tasted okay, but it wasn't anything special--just an ordinary burrito you could get anywhere. I ordered the rockfish tacos, which were disappointing. The tortillas were too thick and crumbled so easily that I couldn't even pick them up to eat. Worse, the fish had a noticeable fishy smell, making me question its freshness, though the overall flavor profile was decent. Ironically, the best part of the meal was the creamy corn served on the side. The atmosphere is more of a spacious, warehouse style rather than cozy, though it is interesting to be able to see into the catering kitchen. It's sad to see a place that used to be so great lose its touch. I hope they can bring back the quality they used to have.

We had a lovely time at Fork and Spoke with delicious food and the friendliest staff. Tickets/reservations are purchased ahead of time from Eventbrite for this pop-up event. We had our lunch reservation for 1pm on a Saturday, and there weren't many people inside, which was fine by us. They did have the banana leaves on all the tables for the kamayan, which is a traditional Filipino feast where you eat with your hands as the food is spread out on the banana leaves. When we sat down, we were welcomed by our friendly server who gave us our complimentary kiwi waters and the feast soon came out with an assortment of fried tilapia, pork belly, sisig, chicken adobo, Pancit Canton, tomatoes and red onions, rice and fresh fruit. For the two of us, it was a huge amount as any kamayan feast tends to be. It was truly fantastic. My partner and I both left full and satisfied. We also ordered the bibingka for an additional charge for our dessert, which was also delicious. Super cool to get Filipino food on the Eastside, which is hard to find, too. I'm so glad we discovered this event at Fork and Spoke as hotel restaurants normally aren't known as the first place you go to for food. Located in the Garden Inn in downtown Redmond, the restaurant has this cool pop-up on a quarterly basis, along with their standard dining food they offer for hotel guests and the public. The staff could not have been friendlier. I definitely will be back for more Filipino pop-ups here!

While the Redmond food scene doesn't stand out against others like Bellevue and Seattle, even Issaquah and Woodinville, we expected a certain level of quality. Upon walking in, the vibes were more of tavern than steakhouse. Once seated in the back in our deteriorating booth, our server came to collect our drink orders which came out in good time. However, our first concerns started surfacing when we asked questions about the menu. Many items listed indicated the warning around undercooked or raw foods, I'm pregnant so it is a bit alarming when things like the roasted chicken have the undercooked asterisk. Our server blatantly brushed off our concerns stating that obviously that wouldn't be undercooked... we received similar answers when my husband inquired about our servers recommendations for steak and a glass of wine: short, brisk, and largely unhelpful. His service continued to be fleeting and disregarding throughout our entire experience. The food came out, I ordered the chicken and my husband had ordered the delmonico, and looked good but was fairly bland. The steak looked like one you might order at Applebees, my chicken was fine just a tad salty. Although the quality of the food was mediocre at best the portion size was very generous. Now, this pregnant lady loves her desert, so I was very excited to try their skillet cookie! We ordered it, it took about 15 minutes to come out as they needed to freshly bake it which is more than fine. Rather than a delicious, gooey chocolate chip cookie, we received a bready, dense, bland cookie. I almost cried. That was before I burned my hand on the skillet because the handle was not properly wrapped. Overall, we were thoroughly disappointed in both the quality, service, and price.
