They showed up early for a delivery and did not notify us so the leak detection I paid for could not be "completed" even though someone was at the house and the driver didn't even knock on the door. AmeriGas has the audacity to charge us an extra $400 because they had to have someone come out and complete the leak detection (you know, the one I already paid for). Customer service will not drop the charges because they feel like it's all valid.

They dispatched a second technician who came out and checked my tank for leaks and determined that the first technician had left a valve open. He closed the valve but said I'd have to talk to the office about getting the gas replaced. I called their office and they said my lawn service must have opened the valve--! I don't have a lawn service and nobody but their technician touched the tank (which has a cap with a lock) prior to me discovering the leak. I live alone with my six year old son and neither of us touched it and nobody else was on our property. Now the managers are refusing to take my calls and won't call me back. I'm out $500 and I'm going to run out of gas sooner rather than later and on top of it I found out they charged me $7.09 per gallon when the going rate in my area is $4.46. Take your business elsewhere.
