Upon entering to store I was greeted by staff inquiring if they could help me. Explained what I was looking for and employee led me to area I needed to be. They then helped me try to search for an exact item, with no luck. Enter employee 2 and I've now got both people trying to help, and help they did. We were able to come up with several options for the project. Today I returned with spouse and headed straight towards the parts we would need. Staff asked if we needed help and after we decided to alter our project, they helped us locate additional parts. It's worth the extra cost to shop here vs big box hardware stores as staff is willing to listen to what customer hopes to complete and even make suggestions on other ways to complete. As an extra, this location has very nice seasonal selections besides general hardware.

I go into Ace to purchase this lil tool to try and get in my vehicle while taking to my daughter in the phone telling her what's going on. The staff over hear me and say honey we can help you they stated they have the tools to get me right in my vehicle. Baby when I say I was in their shouting in Ace Hardware when the young man came from the back with the lil kit. And the staff were praising him with me. The young man went outside and got me in my vehicle in less than 3 minutes and baby I was outside praising God me and the step came outside to help me praise God.. ... I will always be a loyal customer of Ace Hardware.. . It makes me feel good to conduct business with individuals that aren't afraid to praise God regardless of who is around..These employees are an asset of this business.

This Home Depot was clean, well organized, and had friendly staff. The issue I encountered was…read moreattempting to get a Home Depot charge card to take advantage of a finance offer. You would get shoveled off to multiple sites and god forbid you close anything and the dialogue seems to be incredibly convoluted and circular. Myself and a store sales person tried multiple attempts - I got pre-approved and actually approved, but the temporary card did not appear on the first attempts. Then one appeared on the 3rd try, but the sales system did not accept the number. The whole experience was awful. There was always a new problem popping up once you thought you were complete. Finally the manager came over (could not fix the issue) but did offer some markdowns. I ended up not using a Home Depot card, just a personal credit card. I missed out on the generous finance terms (0% for a year) and wasted 2 hours of my time, but the manager gave me some markdowns, so all ended up well. The sales associate and manager were very apologetic. I strongly suggest you go through the HD credit card process from home BEFORE you go to the store. the instore credit app process is seriously broken. Again, no problem with the physical store or staff - all fine. But the current state of the credit process will make you want to leave and go to a competitor. I hope this comment gets passed up thru HD management. IMO, they have a business-threatening situation on their hands.
