Upon entering to store I was greeted by staff inquiring if they could help me. Explained what I was looking for and employee led me to area I needed to be. They then helped me try to search for an exact item, with no luck. Enter employee 2 and I've now got both people trying to help, and help they did. We were able to come up with several options for the project. Today I returned with spouse and headed straight towards the parts we would need. Staff asked if we needed help and after we decided to alter our project, they helped us locate additional parts. It's worth the extra cost to shop here vs big box hardware stores as staff is willing to listen to what customer hopes to complete and even make suggestions on other ways to complete. As an extra, this location has very nice seasonal selections besides general hardware.

We had always been loyal customers. And we hadn't ever bought a new washer and dryer but we did so…read morethis weekend from them. We are on a trip at airports and had renters in our house. The Lowe's sales person told us that they would bring the appliances and install them and that they were professional plumbers. He also told us that they would take the old ones to the street or wherever we wanted them. Today in between flights we found out that they said one of the hoses was rusted and they refuse to do it and left. They didn't move the old washer and dryer out of the garage either. That left our renter to try to figure it out. Being inexperienced, he broke the pipe and the garage flooded. Something that wouldn't have happened if Lowe's had done their job that they told us. When we tried to call the Appliance Department at Lowe's we got hung up on three times before they even answered. Finally I talked to a service person who refused to take any responsibility for Lowe's at all. They don't have to take the washer and dryer out. They don't have to take off a hose if they think it's rusted. We don't have to refund you if you're not happy with your delivery. This is what she said. Anyway we are left with a big mess when we thought we could count on Lowe's and found out we can't big time.
