However, we stopped at 457pm to get propane for our generator for the approaching hurricane "Milton" and she refused to service us. My daughter has to do her dialysis at home and we need the propane for our generator to sustain her life. The employee told my husband "I have things to do too." This is not the first time she closed early. It's quite often. If your hours are 8am -5pm and posted you should not closed your doors and gate at 430 and 445. We have gone by at least 10 times around these times and the store was closed!

Which reminds me you can also pick up other self defense items too. Remember those "you had to have it" jokes as a kid? The fake dog poop, spicy hot gum, the buzzer in the palm of your hand? They couldn't figure out how to take up enough of the slack on the chains, so they wanted me to get a different vehicle that was taller (I have a 2021 Chevy Equinox)! Ummm. No!!! They hooked us up and sent us on our way with no instructions on disconnecting when we brought it back (which we told them could be after they closed at 3). We pulled up right at 3:05 and pulled off to the side of the parking lot, up near their chain link fence. After we got the chains off and it mostly unhooked from the SUV, the older woman (owner?) came STOMPING out of the front door YELLING "NO, you can't leave that there! You have to put it back where it came from!" We told her no one said that to us (it was between two other trailers) and that she didn't have to be so rude. We asked for her help and she said that she wasn't being rude, that she's closed and not going to help us and she was only there waiting on another customer that was late to pick up his trailer. She stormed off and went back inside. So... You couldn't help us while you waited??? Wow. Talk about (lack of) customer service! Yikes! While this was going on, the other guy arrived and she refused to get him his trailer and she locked up and left. He didn't have much nice to say about her either. If this was the LAST/ONLY U-Haul place in Florida, I would drive out of state to find another location! Does U-Haul even know how she treats their customers???
