He personally did most of the annual maintenance and was always responsive to my phone calls with questions or minor issues I was having with my unit. I considered him a friend beyond our business relationship. I understand that he retired a few years ago and sold the business. Things are NOT the same today. When I recently had my annual inspection the technician mentioned that the motor was excessively loud and would probably need to be replaced in the near future. He checked with their office and informed me that it was still under the 10 year warranty. A few months later I called their office to see in a technician could come out and reinspect it. No one ever returned my voice mail. Over the next couple of weeks I left 4 unanswered messages explaining how I was a loyal, long term customer and needed their help. They did not ever answer their phone or return my messages. I decided to keep trying and called 10-15 times and they did not once pick up their phone. I was so disappointed in their lack of professionalism that I decided to inform the owner of what was happening. I emailed him a detailed account of what was going on (and confirmed it by regular mail in the unlikely chance that he didn't receive it) and I never heard a word from him either. I do not plan on even trying to contact them again. I know that my existing a/c is "on its last legs" but I will not be talking to them about replacing it. I expressed how, even though the space is small, I needed something that could maintain cool temps in the space even while running the heated dryers for long periods of time. They were able to quickly guide us in the right direction of the type of unit we'd need, and were able to schedule an install within a very reasonable amount of time. Install day went smoothly, I was very pleased with how they did everything. They even included a pad for the outdoor unit to sit on! So far the mini split has gone above and beyond our expectations! It can keep it absolutely frigid in the salon even with our hot dryers running for an extended time. Super excited that this unit will also provide heat in the winter. Brian and his team were even kind enough at the end of the day to come take a look at our home unit real quick and will be back out to fix a problem with it that another company created. Last time they changed me $150 for the annual maintenance but their website site clearly states the fee at $120 per year. This includes 2 maintenance services . So far I have received 1 which was performed when Terry came out when I called because my a/c was not working. I never received my second service. On July 20, 2024 A Saturday we experienced a power outage. Once power came back my a/c didn't come back on. I called the office and got a recording stating that office hours were M-F and messages will be answered on the next business day. For 2 days I was without a/c . During that time I was searching YouTube for answers, calling friends looking for answers. I also discovered my circuit breaker was not functioning properly. I went to Lowes incase Terry wouldn't have that part with him. When talking to a friend he said he could help me replace the circuit breaker. I did the work as he guided me . Once I installed the new one my a/c came on. All day Monday I waited for Bower to show up . They never did and never even gave me a call back. That's why I'm writing this review. I will never use them or refer them again.
