It was for a new construction home and I was on the contractor's predicted deadline. They offered a loaner basic stove for install so that I could close on my house. The stove arrived and was installed by my contractor while I was out of the country. I later received an additional invoice for a conversion kit because they got a natural gas unit instead of a propane unit that I ordered. I was not notified by Setzers nor asked about accepting a nautral gas stove and using an LP conversion. They charged me for the LP conversion. I spent over $10,000. And they wanted additional funds for an error that was not my fault. I asked for Setzers to write off the additional fees due to their company error. When I pointed out the multiple errors, Ray Swab further insulted me rather than providing appropriate customer service when I asked for the additional fee to be absorbed by Setzers since it was not my error (actually multiple errors). He implied it was my fault since the contractor was not quite ready for install upon its arrival and had to wait 2 weeks (I can only provide as accurate information on timelines as I'm given by the contractor.) Buyer beware. I felt like my experience was extremely disappointing and severely lacking in customer service. Take your hard earned money elsewhere as they've proven they don't value it here. I chose to order the rest of my appliances elsewhere after their poor handling of and lack of appreciation for my order, time, and money.

I got a call this morning at 9 AM that they no longer were able to deliver the dumpster we agreed upon because over the weekend their truck that transports them had mechanical issues. The representative on the phone understood my frustration because I had taken PTO to do this project today. He then offered to bring me two 15 yard dumpsters which equals 30 yards instead of the 20 yard I ordered to make up for it. It was a fair offer in theory had they have been able to execute on their promise. At 1 o'clock, I still didn't have any dumpsters in my driveway had lost the entire day I had taken for PTO. I then called back to explain my frustration that now to do the project I have to take a second day of PTO since I wasted this one. I was told the gentleman was on the way to the dump to dump out one dumpster so they would have both of the 15s to bring me. It became a parent at that point that they're never likely was a dumpster available today. They just didn't have one and didn't wanna lose the job so made a promise to me that they could execute when they knew they couldn't. I received absolutely zero empathy for the second PTO day request, and then the gentleman on the phone started to become argumentative. I highly recommend you hire anyone but this company because they are unreliable and do not do what they say they can do. If you're relying on the affordable waste solutions to do their part to meet a project schedule or deadline whether you're in Construction or a home repair project it won't be with this company as they just feed you mistruths while they juggle their equipment to not lose out on a job.
