Great service, DELICIOUS PIZZA!!! I was visiting from out of town and called in a to-go order just 30 minutes before their scheduled close time. (Is it just me but closing at 8:00 seemed a bit early) The lady that answered was friendly, explained the numerous options, daily specials, and was gracious when I changed my mind multiple times. I finally settled on the 12" Bella with onions, and a 1/2 sheet pepperoni and mushroom. Hands down, the Bella was the best pizza I've ever had. The toppings were perfectly balanced, presenting an explosion of flavor to my mouth. The pepperoni and mushroom squares were also delicious. Not as complex but a definite go to. Great place for lunch and dinner. This place is usually always busy, and that should tell you something... the food is good. I'm addition to all the folks that come to eat here, they also do a huge carry out business as well. They a large menu to choose from including salads, sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, and dinners. There are also daily specials with great pricing. On this visit, I got the pasta dinner with meatballs. It came with a choice of soup or salad and a basket of baked garlic bread. Portion size is large, so I ate some and took the rest home. There was plenty left over so I'll make another meal out of it later in the week. We arrived at the restaurant and put our order in well before the dinner rush. By the time I received the salad for my dinner most of the tables were taken. My husband ordered a pizza and liked it. My order was apparently a complicated one: Parmesan crusted chicken with pink sauce (a combo of Alfredo and red sauce they told me) red skinned potatoes and mixed vegetable. The veggies were cold and very dry, so I knew I wouldn't eat them if they were reheated so didn't bother telling the waitress. The sauce for the chicken wasn't delivered with my dinner but was promised. 15 minutes later after I picked at my plate to at least eat something while it was still warm (there were two pieces of chicken and I ate less than half of one of them) I had still not received the sauce for my chicken. I would have eaten hubbys pizza instead but am not a fan of his pizza choices. My potatoes were fried and just ok; no special seasoning but plain. Never had the opportunity to taste the sauce. Hubby asked for to-go containers for leftovers since he was finished and I was no longer hungry. The sauce was then brought out in a to-go container to take home. The chicken as received was ok but to be honest I knew if I took it home I wouldn't eat it so left it and the illusive sauce. It was explained to us that the kitchen was very busy and the sauce was made to order. The made to-order part and possible wait for the sauce, until after the meal was served, was not indicated on the menu. This was our first time there. We had never heard of serving a plate to a customer and then having to wait more than 15 minutes for the sauce in order to eat it, at any restaurant. Tip - ask if all components of your meal are to be served together. If not, order something else. read more

Had lunch here today, have to say that I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered a hamburger and fries, only to bite into my hamburger and get a mouth full of raw meat...besides almost getting sick from that, the fries are very thin and over cooked. I've eaten at this restaurant in the past and h food was always very good, but the quality has went down hill when looking at this meal. I absolutely love Belleria, but this location is not one of my favorites. Over the years, I have experienced this location really go downhill. The food is good but the quality has declined. The customer service is honestly pretty terrible. It seems that the staff is not trained very well, and anytime you need something you cannot get anyone's attention as they all look away or are too busy socializing. The parking lot is horrendous at busy times. There is little parking space and it is set up very inefficiently, which causes traffic jams and sometimes you even get blocked in by other cars. The interior also needs some serious updating. If you do decide to go here, I would recommend the pizza above anything else. But for the prices you pay here for the food, I would check out a better location, like North Lima or Columbiana. Overall, Belleria has some really great food, but I would recommend visiting a different Belleria location if you can. read more

Well, let's get started on this one. I'm not happy with this location and what's sad is I can walk here. I would love it if it was a favorite but unfortunately, every time I dine here a little piece of me dies, because I always have high or above average expectations. No flavor whatsoever not even a shred of love or joy or garlic went into this dish...What happened to Youngstown Pride? I'm just so sad...What happened to fresh parm? Ok let's talk salads next? Where are the veggies? The cheese? The dignity of giving me clumpy brown iceberg lettuce?!? Honestly, what happened? The poor service staff so untrained, I love when I'm literally staring at every person that works there and they all just looked away all I needed was some Parmesan for my uncultured chicken dish I ended up throwing away! Poor little dish never even had a chance... I guess I'll just go to Bogeys for chicken and greens for now on... boo! Quality of ingredients for the pizza could be improved, eye cheese is cheap and that's reflective in the taste. This place is disgusting I don't know what happened to their food but it has become horrible!! Ordered take out fish sandwich 95% fried breading 5% fish threw away, Bella burger meat tasted like fillers, a quart of wedding soup which used to be the bomb I pulled out a lot of hard bones wth? I have been here many times for lunch. Service ranges from excellent to poor. Pizza is excellent. Chicken Caesar salad is quite good. Garlic bread, cut in squares, is wonderful. Today I had the eggplant parm and had a hard time finding any eggplant. Sauce was great. Youngstown has pizza shops like Manhattan has Starbucks. You can't turn around without seeing another one. Most are good, some are great. Belleria is the best. My wife and I get take out a couple times a month. I'm moving away next month, and I'll really miss Belleria. The sauce is sweet, with peppers cooked down in there, and the dough is thick, fluffy, and a little greasy (in the best way). I get the Pepperoni (always crispy) or the Bella (yum). All the locations make a good pie, but this one in Struthers is my favorite. Plus they have a bar so you can get a beer. They have a decent menu, but to be honest I've never eaten anything other then their pizza. Try it and you'll understand. read more

This Belleria is awesome. I haven't gotten bad food once. I've ordered their pizza several times and they are good. I've had their spaghetti and meatballs and it was very good. Went to Belleria last night, the service was slow, and since the new ownership took over they should just use Ragu because their sauce was worse than anywhere else around. Tasted like tomato juice and the spaghetti had so much water that my husband sent it back. They use frozen pre-made patties for chicken parm. Won't be going back there any time soon. I frequently eat at this Belleria when I am in the area. The specials are inexpensive and filling. My favorite is an egg pizette with sausage (for some reason taste better than 12" one). Sooo good. Their sandwiches are big and come with a side.. Service varies. Fried pizza dough ÷( pizza frita) with chocolate or strawberry syrup is a tasty dessert. We have ordered here weekly for about 2 years now. Our fries are usually cold. In the take out menu you states that you can order soup instead of fries with sandwiches for $1.50 extra. We have ordered this many times before. Recently, we tried to order this again. We were first told you can't do that with sandwiches and then told that you can't do that with take out. I explained we have done it before and was told that they have never done that. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not there. We have had bacon missing off burgers, cold fries, completely wrong orders and other issues with attitudes. We went back because the manager would make things right. I grew up eating Belleria pizza so have been a fan for more than 40 years. When my Chicago sib visit here, they always get pizza to take home. The pizza sauce is made on site ( sauce even sold in local grocery stores). Varied menu depending on location (owned by children & grandchildren of eoriginal owners). Struthers location was some great lunch specials. My favorites are sausage flatbread, spaghetti, italian fennel sausage sandwich. Both wedding soup and pasta fagiole soup stellar. Regular lunch waitstaff best, at other times service can be spotty. Good money value for serving sizes. You won't go home hungry. I've eaten pizza in all sections of USA and Mahoning Valley area in Ohio has some of the best. read more
