Horrible! Do not go here, they are rude, don't listen. My nails were glued to my skin, used machine to release my fingers and nails throbbed for days!! I paid $40, left no tip as I didn't even want to pay it was that bad. I'm 46 and been getting my nails done since I'm 13, this is one of the worst experiences. I didn't think it was till 7 mins before being done, started off ok. I called and they pushed me off, owner never called back. It's weeks and the nails were so hard to get off. The nail tech who must have been brand new, was not quite ready for prime time. I can understand in these times having to find good peeps, but the manager disappointed me for trying to lie about why my nails looked so bad. The nail tech kept adding layer after layer (5) and I couldn't understand why as my nails were looking like bubble nails and not sleek and pretty as they always have been for 40 years! Then when I looked at my nails, it was bc the polish I chose, was not good..it was thin and you could see the flaws of my nails. All she had to do during any of the five layer ritual, was to tell me I needed a darker polish. But she went to the manager who looked at my nails and said nothing...they were horrible looking....there were at least three different colors of nail bed showing through and just awful looking. And as she is about to put on the final gloss I finally said, "hey are you really not going to say anything about what these nails look like? And she said...oh well, this is your fault bc you should have burned your nails off with acetone and not allowed them to chip off. I told her in 40 years I have never had this happen so I was pretty sure it was the polish not working and not my nail. She asked me to get another polish and I did and it did cover but her application was terrible and unacceptable. I could tell she clearly did not want to do my nails. She did offer to redo my nails but I had already been sitting there for 1:45 minutes and had to get to another app't. Most of my next gen appointments are 45 minutes to an hour by professional salons. But the fact that the manager herself did not acknowledge that the nails were bad and that her tech was new made me realize she just didn't care. The actually lied to me and that is the part that hurt. There was only one other couple in the salon on a Sunday afternoon, so possibly this is not a great place to go. The manager definitely needs to rethink her people skills and just tell the truth. Nails are expensive and as such we deserve a pro job. After she painted my nails again, they were covered better, but looked like bubbles after five layers of next gen had been applied and were extremely uneven and the MANAGER had painted them ...She made no acknowledgement of the way they looked until I asked a second time if this was the quality she wanted me to have. I have posted the second color....I wish I had taken pictures of the first color that the manager said nothing about until I made a comment. You would not believe me If I told you what it looked like and this management made no comment except that it was my fault. I would stay away unless they hire a new team. read more

The main point of this post is to emphasize DO NOT USE TAMMY. She has short red bob haircut. DO NOT USE HERE. REQUEST TO SPECIFICALLY NOT HAVE HER. Now read my experience if you want :) I have given this salon chance after chance, considering I'm right down the street from it and they consider themselves to be "luxury", which they are far from. I won't bash the entire staff because they're all pretty good with nails EXCEPT FOR TAMMY. Ima call this wack a** girl out. I've gotten my nails done twice by her, and both times I've felt so disgusted afterwards. You sit there for hours, just for her to ruin your nails all together. THIS HAPPENED IN REAL LIFE: I came in at 10:15am. Sat down and had Tammy as my nail tech. I should've stopped there and been like "hey can I get someone else to do my nails?". Against my better judgement, I stayed with Tammy and was going to take a different approach and guide her through doing my nails since she seems incompetent sometimes. First of all, the color I picked from the Nexgen selections, was not the same color she applied to my nail. Second, I asked for long and round nail shape, and she seemed to have completely forgotten what shape and length I asked for almost immediately after she started because when it was all said and done, I had short and sharp kitten nails. I had already asked her to remove the thumb nails and do them again as her first try was incorrect, she made them too short and pointy. Y'all, all I wanted were white tips. That's it. So she dips the base color and pulls out a tool that helps with creating the tip shape. I'm not entirely sure how she managed to screw that up too when she had a whole a** tool to help her, but alas, the lines for the white tips were all uneven and did not match. I had a few tips that were crooked AFTER SHE FILED THEM, which honestly I've noticed is a thing she does. She gets too cocky with the nail file and ends up making some crooked. After attempting to guide her through my nails, she managed to still mess them up royally. Like, 2004 plastic kids play nails, is how I could best describe them. I am in no way confrontational, or will cause a scene anywhere. I'm the person who orders coffee with cream and still drinks it if there's no cream. You feel me? So as she's putting the final coat on, I say to her, very quietly, "I'm so sorry, but I truly just don't like these nails. If there's anyway I can come back tomorrow to get them redone that'd be great." She asked what's wrong with them, to which I replied, "the color is different than what was displayed, the shapes are all different (some are pointy and short, some are longer and round), the white tip lines are not even..." She came back with "you pick the color!! You pick the color!!" So I said "okay, so aside from the color, let's blame the color on me, fine -- BUT THE REST OF THE NAILS still don't look good." To which she then kept interrupting me and saying "you pick the color!!! You been picky this whole time. You don't pay you can go." And then grabbed the nail clippers and CLIPPED ALL THE NAILS OFF and told me not to come back!!!! Y'all, I've given this place many of chances. And if y'all keep going here, please, please just request your nail tech. And request that it is NOT TAMMY. She's the one with a short red colored bob haircut. She swears she knows what she's doing, but baby this profession is not for her. Seriously this was the worst two hours of my life. NO ONE likes to sit there for hours just for their nails to be terrible. She has absolutely NO customer service qualities and I do not recommend using her when visiting this salon. I'm not kidding. This was my first visit here and I regret it. Cashier was the same person doing my nails so I'm guessing his name is Joseph according to the receipt. Asked for a dip manicure and it turned out horrible. I was never offered any drink. When filing my nails Joseph filed too hard to the point where I started bleeding. I told him about it and he didn't say anything. Not even a sorry. Had to ask him myself if he has any powder to stop the sting. There are parts of my nails that weren't fully covered by the powders. The tips are also uneven and not neatly done. They nickel and dime you for everything yet the quality doesn't match the prices. Pretty much paying for a sloppy job. The salon has a bunch of chairs but they're understaffed and you'd have to wait for someone whether you booked an appointment or not. Wouldn't recommend this nail salon at all. read more

The pedicure was fine, there are a few things that make me not want to go back... - I made 2 appointments and arrived on time, our pedicures started LATE. 30 mins late on one and 40 mins on another. I really don't have that time to waste with my feet sitting in cold water. - We both booked a Spa Pedicure which included a 12 minute massage per the menu. This review is going to be long, but worth it, so bear with me. I've been coming here for a few months now. I'm pretty loyal to one nail salon, the last place I went to for six years. I only stopped going there because I moved. I loved the results I would get from Belle Vous. The problem that I've had over and over again is that no matter how simple you want your nails, it will take AT LEAST an hour and a half of your time. I get Nex Gen on my natural nails and it's still an hour and a half minimum every single time. So if you know that and can prepare for that, it's not a big deal. I just don't know anyone who wants to wait that long on a simple manicure. BUT TODAY. I went in with my nails the exact shape I wanted, since I had just gotten them done in that shape two weeks prior. For whatever reason, the guy doing my nails (so sorry, I've forgotten his name) decided to change the shape. I told him I wanted them to stay the exact same shape. So then he filed. And filed. And filed. By the time he was finished, my natural nails were uneven, different shapes, jagged, and really really short. I asked three different times to speak to someone else and let someone else take over on my nails. All three times he told me no. That's it. Just no. Finally, I take my nails away and told him no more and that I want someone else to finish. Again, he told me no. So I got louder and said I would like to speak to somebody else. After that, Christina came over to finish my nails. To be honest, they still look like shit. That wasn't her fault though, because by the time she got there, she didn't have any nails to work with. But at least they all look the same now, whereas with the guy before, they were all different shapes and sizes and lengths. So I get up to pay, and I'm pissed about how they look, and Christina tells me $35. Then changes it to $40. So. I'm not one to ask for a discount EVER. but after the experience I had, it should at least have been offered. It wasn't, and that's whatever. But then I asked why the extra $5. She told me it's because of the shape I got. Two problems here. First, I've been getting the same shape almost the entire six months I've been going here. Never once have I been charged an extra $5 for almond shape, there or anywhere else. Why start now? My second issue is that my nails were literally ruined. I have to wait longer than usual to get my nails done again because there is absolutely nothing for any nail tech to work with without putting tips on, and I prefer my natural nails. So why am I still being charged the extra $5 for my nails to be filed down to little nubs when they were perfectly shaped in the first place? I didn't need them shaped again! Bottom line. I left pissed off with hideous nails and the worst customer service I've ever experienced after sitting there for two hours. read more

For an establishment that is across the street from another nail salon, Nail Idol, one would think Belle Vous would bring their 'A' game to stay competitive. Not the case today. This was my first visit here, I usually go to Nail Idol but thought I'd give this one a shot just to see how they compare... it was a monumental mistake. First, no one greeted me upon entering, and no one offered a drink, then my nail technician did not speak English, at all, and there was no leg and foot massage and the nail polish on my fingers was horrendous. I stood up from my chair, after taking the pictures of a crap job, 6 minutes went by before I was asked if everything was ok. Then another 20 minutes wasted waiting for my nails to be repainted. This is probably one of the worst nail salons I have ever been to in my entire life. First off, I come in on a Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend and I was one of 3 people getting their nails done. I should have left after that. I sit down and the nail tech named Paige sits down to do both my nails and toes. Everything was fine until she starts my nails. She cut me on my cuticle 3 times and began to tell me it wasn't a cut it was just my "dry skin" and was constantly picking at the cuts. I asked for nexgen and she did both nexgen and gel on top of each other leaving my nails so thick I couldn't stand it. When I left the gel immediately separated from the nexgen creating bubbles on all my nails. They didn't even last me that night. I went back the next day for Paige to re do them and she said I could get $5 off which she never gave me. She said the reason my nails were done poorly was because they were so busy yesterday they squeezed me in, which we both know wasn't true because I was one of 3 people in the whole salon. Nice and shiny new salon, but the service was just OK. My partner and I came in for manipedis on Sat afternoon. It wasn't too busy, and they tended to us pretty quickly. We soaked our feet while perusing the menu and both opted for the Belle Vous manipedi. My tech was very late. My partner's tech arrived quickly and began working intently on his feet. I watched as she clipped, shaped, removed ingrown toenails, decallused, and massaged his feet and calves before my tech even showed up, a good 20+ minutes later, more than halfway through my partner's pedicure. My tech did an OK job. I am pretty patient and willing to give the benefit of the doubt, so I was mildly surprised when she took out her iPhone and quickly checked it during my pedicure. But then she took it out again and actually made a phone call. My partner and I looked at each other in disbelief. Maybe she had an emergency, but she should have excused herself to make her call. Using her phone during my pedicure was stunningly unprofessional and rude. Despite my manipedi starting 20+ minutes later, she finished up just moments after my partner's was done. Pretty sure I did not received the same level of attention, detail, and massage that my partner got. There are nail salons at virtually every corner in this city, and based on my experience with my tech alone, we will not return. read more

My friend and I went in October 27 around 6pm. There were only two people working, a male and female one of whom is named nick? Nicki? Not sure. I initially thought they did a really good job on my dip manicure until I had a closer look! The "almond" shape varies from nail to nail and really isn't even almond on them all. Some rounded, some pointed. They didn't even cover the whole nail with the powder and you can see the ridge line from them not being smoothed out enough. On top of that, they didn't clean out the finishing polish under my nails, so now there is a bunch of bulky parts I have to chip off. $50 is way too much to spend on a half-assed job. 10/10 do NOT recommend. read more

This is nice big nail salon but service wise not so good...front desk staff was not smiley and was eating her food at front desk...when telling me the price she told me I have to pay tip...I am not sure why she mentioned that when that depends on their service. So I selected a service of $65, and did not like the color right after first finger but they continued. Also the design I asked for they did it upside down. I most likely will not go here. Tried this place Bc if their grand opening discounts and it was the worst Nexgen experience I've had in years. I didn't catch his name but it was a man that did mine. The color was uneven, my nails were shaped odd, and my cuticles were tore up by the time he was finished. Pedicure was fine but no better than the place I normally go. Most of the techs were friendly. The place appears very clean and is nicely decorated. You cannot feel the massage chairs here at all so don't come for a good massage chair. They're a little pricey and don't offer regular coupons. I would highly suggest Cesar's on Teel over this place. read more

Two of the times I've come here they've told me it was a 15 minute wait for just a nexgen fill and the first time I was with a friend. My friend got hers done and the whole time she was getting hers done I had to wait and ended up having to leave after an hour of still not being helped!!! The second time I had to wait 45 minutes and even if you do stick it out, the nails are thin and break easily and the pedicures are rushed and not good.
