After countless revisits, strange interactions with their on site customer service, and an appointment system that lies to get your customers through the door, I have decided its time to move my relationship over to Discount Tire going forward. I own a small fleet of vehicles, and im constantly buying and selling cars, so tires/alignments are something I need regularly. I came here to buy tires in 2015 for my Honda Civic, they sold me a defective set that always caused the car to pull to the left, even after being told "its definitely the tires causing the issue" they offered to do *another* alignment and rebalance, instead of warrantying them. I had to contact corporate to get them to, you know, honor the agreement we had in the first place, and they "met me in the middle" by replacing 2 tires, which admittedly resolved the issue. After this I stopped using Belle tire for tires, Walmart became my Go-to because the service was insanely simple and required very little interaction. I started using Belle tire solely for wheel alignments, and by and large my experience was good, I always paid for the extra year on all of my cars and always saw value in it. I had to bring back my car 3 times to get an alignment corrected, and *specifically* because the steering wheel is about 10 degrees off to the left. When I got the car back, it was now ~15 degrees off. I spun right back around and went in and pointed out that the steering wheel was obviously still off, sat there for *another* hour waiting for them to turn 2 tie rods ~3/4 turn clockwise, got the car back, and it was I shit you not, back to how it was before I even came there in the first place. I accepted it and just left, I didn't have time to deal with it as I travel for work most of each month, it drove well enough that I just lived with it. Well, now the car needs 2 tires, and they happen to be Continentals, which Wal-Mart doesn't carry. So, decided to give Belle Tire another shot since a) my alignment wasn't right from the last visit and b) they had the 2 tires "In stock" (according to their website). Booked the appointment, pre-paid for everything. My expectation was to drop off and be able to leave because I had other things to handle immediately afterward. When I arrive, Jeff tells me they don't have my tires in stock. So HUGE red flag because that immediately is a bait and switch. Your website said "IN STOCK" and accepted money from me to purchase those tires, but now im walking through the door and they aren't in stock and I would have to wait till later today to get them. Why book a 9am appointment if you can't even honor it? Then I have to come back and cross my fingers I can get in and out when you are way busier later in the day. Could your team have maybe given me the courtesy call in the morning so I at least didn't make a note to rearrange my entire schedule around this appointment? I told the representative to cancel the install and refund me, and as I packed my bag to leave he told me he needed my credit card to process a refund, which makes absolutely 0 sense considering I had hard keyed the whole card number into their sales system the day prior. I pulled my card out of my wallet, which happens to be made of metal, and tossed it on the counter so he could run it. He looks at me and says "you don't have to throw it at me." I did not throw it at him. I tossed it on the counter, and had I done that with a plastic credit card and it not made a loud noise you wouldn't have gotten all offended by the bad service I was receiving from the company of scumbags that you represent. I told him not to be a dick, and as another customer entered the show room and proudly announced "im here for an alignment" I kindly wished him good luck, and let him know they are on try number 3 on my car. At that point Jeff suddenly didn't need my credit card and asked me to leave. Clearly Jeff was personally offended by the awful experience I had, and I still have a $400 hold on my CC for tires that don't exist. read more

They not only gave me a cheaper deal on 4 tires all terrain for my 4 runner 728 instead 1100, they were done within a hour instead of the 1.5 to 2 hour time frame they gave me. They were kind and even had Harry Potter playing on the big screen tv for me to watch. read more

It's ALWAYS a wait, but not nearly as bad as at other Belle Tire locations (like Royal Oak for example). I'm sitting here once again, thank god for road hazard insurance, now they just need a "jump the line" fee, I'd pay it. This location is faster than others, the staff is that typical condescendingly nice form of friendly, the price is always market rate (which is to say fair), and parking is close and free. There really isn't much more anyone could ask for from a tire place, so if you find yourself in need of a tire place and you're close to this location, head on in! Well, I got here at 9am this morning to get a warranty tire repair or replacement and it's now 10:35am and my vehicle is still out in the lot. I fear a day will be lost to get this stupid tire fixed. More updates to come. It's now 11:50 and I'm done. Since I got the tires here they removed and repaired the mail hole for free. Can't complain about that. I left without letting them touch my truck! Never made it past the front desk. The guy checking me in was so condescending, I will never go back. I had an appointment at 11:00 but when I got there at 11:00, nobody was available to check me right in. Then the man at the desk tells me that my appointment is at 11:30. (Not). Then he asks me if my truck has locking lugnuts, yes. Do I know where the key is?, yes. Then he raises his eyebrows like I am some kind of idiot and says, "Can you get it ?" Now I am pissed and wondering how long I am going to be stuck in this place after making an appointment. I'm rating today's visit five-stars, because Dino went out of his way to insure my satisfaction. I had brought my car here a few days ago for an alignment and tire issue, but the alignment line was super long. Kevin called another location, which was able to complete the alignment relatively quickly. However, the other location was so backed up they told me they couldn't look at me tire. Last night, I finally saw the piece of metal in the tire, so I came out here today. When I told Dino what happened, he apologized for me needing to make three visits to any Belle Tires to get an issue fixed. He moved me up to the front of the queue, and my car is currently being worked on. I appreciate how they acknowledged the issue and tried to resolve it quickly. read more

If I could give a -10 for this business I would happily do so! When my check tire light came on today I stopped there thinking they would be able to check tire pressure for me. I parked near the first bay and when I asked them to check my tire pressure they just pointed to the air machine in a different location. I went inside to explain why I stopped and the tech there also said I should use the air machine. I don't carry tire pressure gages and since the tires were purchased at another Belle Tire (luckily) I assumed they would be more helpful. Obviously Customer Service was not important to them!! Great experience all around from this Belle Tire. They were able to order the tire I could afford, understood I was on a budget and were not pushy on me having to do more than I could afford. Felt like I got a great price compared to the many other tire shops in the area. Their friendliness, professionalism and ability to go above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed was refreshing and they now have a loyal customer for life. Highly recommend them! I'm really mixed on this review. I called within 30 minutes of them opening to talk with someone about the issues i was having and what i wanted to bring my vehicle in for. I was advised that they they would be able to get to it today but were unsure of when. They put me on the list and called me when i was near the top in order to bring my vehicle in so i wasn't stuck all day. To that point i appreciated the customer service they provided me. Not many places would have done that. When i arrived they were able to take me in right away for the front brakes issues i was having. I was expecting them to come back shortly after with a quote to fix what i went there for (Pads, Rotors and Calipers) which they did along with a list of other things they had found during a "Inspection" I have to say i was in complete shock at the cost they quoted me for having the front brakes done ($950). Along with the quote for there recommendations for everything else they had found during an inspection ($3000+). I questioned the cost for this brake job because i know for a fact from past brake jobs that is extremely high. I ended up having them bring my vehicle out and took my vehicle to a trusted repair facility that i have used for a very long time (Fraser Automotive) and my repair ended up costing $540 Total with Labor. Now i can understand being maybe $50-$100 different but to be $400 dollars apart is very upsetting. So either there pricing model is horrible or there trying to take advantage of individuals hoping they don't know how much repairs really cost. I'm sure they get there suckers. I'm just not one of them I will never go back to a Belle tire for any service. read more

I just picked up my car and all of a sudden my power steering gives out on me on the road. Had to take it back up there and wait 20 minutes just for them to tell me they're going to have to keep it overnight again. They've had my car for almost a full week. And have called me 3 times to come pick up my car and each time it's been either false information or in this case something else is wrong with the vehicle that has never been wrong with it. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a mechanical shop and I've been through the ringer. Definitely never coming back to a Belle tire after they actually fix my vehicle. read more

I came early in the morning but I was there for over two hours because the staff was laughing and hanging around. Plus there was only two other customers in the the store. Belle Tire sold me two worn and used tires while I purchased two brand new tires. Less than two weeks of purchasing these tires, I have to get new ones. When I called, the guy over the phone instantly claimed my vehicle had mechanical issues. I went here twice and had two unsatisfactory experiences. My first experience with them entailed having my g/f get new tires put on my Cherokee, right before a weekend trip up north. I had other errands to run, but she called me with the price and details and it sounded ok. Evidently, after waiting a few hours to have tires put on (really?), a mechanic came out to inform her that they wouldn't have time to perform an alignment because it was getting late, and that she'd have to bring it back. So, you'll take my $400 or $500 for the tires, where you make all the money... you aren't too busy for that... but you can't stay an extra 15 minutes to finish the alignment that you don't make any money on? Translation: You provide piss-poor customer service and don't value your patrons time. She was too young and naive to know any better and it sounded like the mechanic more or less talked her into it, but I had I been there, I would have told them to either do the whole thing, or I'll take it somewhere else. The second time was when I was taking advantage of the tire protection plan (which I don't recommend buying, but more on that in a minute). I had a busy day of running errands and noticed I had not-so-slow leak when I got ready to leave for the day- slow enough to get me to the tire store, but not much else. I sat in the customer area for what seemed like a long time (probably 45 minutes). Bored and a little antsy, I decided to see what was going on and noticed my vehicle was high up on a hoist- too high to service a tire. I didn't think much of it and returned to the waiting area. Maybe another 20 minutes later (easily over an hour now), the manager called me over to the desk with a list of things they thought I should have done per unauthorized/unrequested service inspection they performed on my car. So I am kind of hurry here, wondering what the hell took so long, and it's because I was waiting around for you to up-sell me on your services? Translation: You don't value your customers time. The car was about 3 years old, and while I wouldn't have given much thought to a 5 minute inspection, I could tell from the list this easily took them 15-20 minutes. And I'm not naive to think they're providing me with good customer service, they were trying to find ways to make money with services I didn't ask for. In the future, I would definitely avoid this location, and probably avoid Belle Tire altogether. A word on the Tire Protection Plans. By now, we know that most of these protection plans aren't worth it... let's face it, if they were, the businesses probably wouldn't be pushing them. I can't speak for plans for all places or if they've changed, but typically they are 10-15 per tire, which will cover tire repair if you get a from something other than wear, like a nail or some other damage. There are two problems with this. The first is that 10-15 doesn't sound like much, but by the time you've covered 4 tires, you're in for 40-60 bucks... likely half of what it will cost to replace a single tire with a new one, with brand new tread.... not the same tire given back to you repaired. And not all damage can be repaired. The second problem is that it's generally only about $20-25 to mend a repairable tire at any tire place. Which means you don't have to go to a Belle Tire and you don't have to lay the cash out in advance and pray for a flat in order to get your moneys worth. You'd likely need to get 2 or more flat tires for this to be worth. So, unless there plans have changed much in the last few years, they are a pretty easy "No." read more

Asked why they couldn't have told me hours ago, the sob says he didn't know the tire needed replacing. Hello I got towed in and specifically said my front tire is busted from hitting a pot hole. How much more graphic did you want? Just a little bit of extended customer service is all I ask but this yahoo's are old school they can't possibly know what that means. Their service is good- you know, installing tires, rotating tires, etc, and the prices for tires are low and they offer free tire rotations and warrantied repairs. What they don't offer is any of these services in any sort of a timely fashion. Arrived at 8:30 AM for a tire rotation, hoping to get in and out early. Assistant Manager suggested I come back in the afternoon unless I want to wait 3 hours before they could even pull my truck in. Went back at 1:30 and was told they would need my truck for the rest of the day. And.. the best part- they don't make appointments- so, yea.. you're just going to have to wait or have a ride to go do other things. Next time, I will buy the same tires for a little cheaper maybe at my local warehouse club and make appointments to get tires rotated/ serviced while shopping, saving a TON of time and inconvenience. Sorry Belle Tire, but rotating my tires should not be an all-day event. read more

Spent $1,600 on new control arms and shocks, due to a rattling noise when hitting bumps. Took it up 1/13/22. got it "fixed". The next day while driving it seemed like the noise was slightly there, but I moved that thought to the back of my head. Today, 1/15/22 the noise is back in full effect, worse than before. I called, and asked "Ollie" why I spent $1,600 for them to not properly diagnose an issue, and to fix my car without driving it. I mean, these guys called me as I'm on my way home to let me know what was wrong with my car. When talking to Ollie I was frustrated but composed, and his reaction was to chuckle, and tell me that "first of all you can calm down with all that". at this point it's clear that they don't care about customers, and have some tough guys working for them. Their still at it, my neighbor went in for a tire repair a week ago. They had his truck 1 1/2 days for a tire repair... wow that should say something in itself. 1 tire for repair. Anyway he gets his truck back along with a quote he didn't ask for to the tune of over $1750 in front end repair. Innner, outer tie rods both sides.. upper and lower ball joints both sides. He needs NONE of it. He just had them done somewhere else.. the state of Michigan needs to shut them down. They are charging people for things they don't need every day. read more

So, I figured I'd have a rather light day at the office this past Friday before heading downtown to the Yelp event at the Fillmore. The Universe had other plans for me. I ran over not one but two screws in the road, taking out my two right-hand tires with punctures that left me little time to do much more than to get to a Belle Tire. Why was I specifically looking for a Belle Tire (and yes, I used Yelp on my phone to find the closest one, for the record) you may ask? Simple - I had purchased the tires that were on the car from there a few years back, and had a great experience then and so it's a known and trusted commodity for me. Granted, this shop would be on the other side of town (East side) from where I'd originally bought them (Farmington Hills), but still..."name" means something to me. When I find places I like, I stick with them. My car managed to make it to this location...all the while with me watching the tire pressure indicator counting down pressure like a doomsday clock...and they were promptly outside looking at my tires. Unfortunately for me, I have an all wheel drive car..."unfortunately" because that means that two blown tires on one side of the car means that you have to replace all four. That sound you hear is a cash register doing the "ka-ching" noise. But...I already knew this from my prior experience...annoying, and I really wasn't thrilled about laying out the cash for this, but the people here were really great. The service tech explained that the tires on my car weren't something they had in stock, but they could order them for me and have them there in the afternoon. The cost was going to be around $1200. Thankfully, he explained that if I wanted, they DID have other tires in stock that would work, but just weren't as high-end as the ones that were originally on it...and we chatted a bit about it, he explained the highs and lows, what mattered, what didn't, asked how I typically drove and what I did (I'm not driving all over creation each week, no, I don't really jump it up over 120mph on a regular basis...) ...and the moral of the story is that I walked out of there with a great set of new tires for a little over half that original cost. I'm completely good with that, and I totally appreciate his taking the time to explain things to a non-car-guy like me (but yes, I googled after he walked away, and he was being straight with me, which is always nice to discover) that could easily get duped and ripped off by places like this. Solid experience, very pleased with the results, and it doesn't hurt that they have free wifi so that I could at least get a little work done while I was trapped there. read more

They will tell you that you need an alignment; they play with the numbers and make the computer reading measurement "RED" so you get convinced, I have papers that back up my claim, It will cost me time and money to go after corrupt businesses, but I will look for an honest mechanic to help me instead. Adding to that, it took them less than 10 minutes to do their cheating job ( $89 down the drain), I called the corporation and talked to Chuck; he is a respectable man in management, he tried to help me but not much he can do. Roseville location was a good place but maybe they got new management the last couple of years; I have been told that Roseville location is going down the drain, I should believe the person who told me that; he does not go there anymore. Took a flat tire into Belle Tire in SCS...The spare was installed on the truck..Kris Bauer approached me , wrote it up and said no problem...Had my truck back in less than 45 minutes with the spare installed under the truck and the Ford Spare Tire Kit back in the truck. Kris would not accept any money and said thanks for shopping at Belle Tire. It wasn't that the service was free...it was that he genuinely wanted to help get me back on the road ASAP...
