I went there with my Toyota Prius They told me on the phone they do tire balancing for free and after driving 30 min to this place they said it's not worth doing it .... Unless I purchase new tires from them... bad business practice the sales guy name was Jake. ... the whole place with 10 Bay Areas was empty.. they had nothing to to ...all the guys were spending time on their phones ... Caught them during a semi annual sale and they beat everyone else on price for the same tire with a Visa gift card that was delivered shortly afterwards. The only reason for being stingy on the last star is there business model of a free alignment inspection but of course you will need one after 58,000 miles so add another $149. read more

Was disappointed had a appointment at 2pm dropped my car off ,was told my car was next after a hour and a half. I called and was told 45 minutes, I never got a call so I went there and three hours pasted and my car still wasn't ready at 5pm so now I have to go back the next day so they can finish, not what I was looking for as a first time customer and not very friendly. read more

Can't say enough great things about Rich and his staff at Belle Tire in Shorewood/Joliet. We have struggled for years to find a trustworthy and competent auto shop in the area. Belle is the only place we will go now. Honest people, fair and reasonable prices, no upsells, no pressure, no BS, great customer service. What else could you want. They replaced the brakes on my wife's car and did a great job. Then I noticed my own vehicle making a slight grinding noise. Turns out it is just my drilled and slotted rotors that tend to make that noise when the brakes are cold. Didn't try to sell me new brakes like most shops would, just told me it was all good for now. I thought I needed a new tire per my dealership. They said the tire could not be fixed due to safety reasons. The tire had a small nail in it. The dealership said a new tire. Ok, they quoted me a price. I then decided to compare prices for the exact tire at Belle. The dealership quoted $274 and Belles price $220. So of course I went back to Belle. While waiting for the new tire to be installed, Rick (manager), informed me they could fix the tire and save me $220.00. WOW! Additionally, they did not charge me for repairing the tire. I hate just giving a 4* review because the industry I work in lives and dies by reviews. I would give 5 stars for work done swapping my tires . I didn't appreciate the additional estimate to repair front end parts on my truck. I was told a ball joint and a control arm needed to be replaced to do an alignment. The quote given was $1348.38. Estimate included 2 upper ball joints, 1 upper control arm with ball joint, 4.2 lower ball joints. I didn't realize my truck had 7.2 ball joints. If he would have quoted me for 4 ball joints and a control arm the estimate would have been $950 . I probably would have done the work. I'm disappointed Dellwood tire closed in Minooka because he was so honest, it's hard to find honest people when they work on commission. read more

After last weeks snow storm, came to the realization I needed new tires. I sat at a Discount Tire for about 5-6 hours. For as early as I checked in, the shop was coming to a close. I needed new tires ASAP, so I decided to give Belle Tires a call around 5pm. Ben picked up and helped me with all the needed information and even set me up with an appointment in the next 30 minutes. Arrived to the shop, Ben greeted, took charge and started checking out my vehicle immediately. He made the process really simple and helped with getting the best possible value for my purchase. Ben, kept me up to date with every step of the way. From breaking in my tire locks, changing the tires, finding out TPMS needed to be replaced, checking on alignment etc. Just made me feel my vehicle was in good hands. Extremely disappointing!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. DO NOT go here if you are a middle aged woman. They will try and screw you out of a lot of money. I went in for an alignment and they said I need struts and tie rods and quoted me over $1000 and won't do the alignment until those are fixed. I took my car and left. Little did they know that my son is very knowledgeable about cars and very experienced working on cars and I don't need those things done. And he has a lot of friends in the car business. Brought my truck in to swap aftermarket wheels and tires for stock wheels and tires so i could replace a damaged rim, truck also needed an alignment and a wheel stud replaced after i broke a lug off the previous day. I kind of brought them my mess and asked them to fix it. Mike and the team of guys over there got right to work and did an amazing job.
