I don't typically write reviews for bigger, well-known national chain businesses, but I had to call out this specific location's Belle Tire for truly some of the most wholesome, wonderful customer service and SERVICE SERVICE ever! It was Christmas Eve Eve last year (December 23 if you find that confusing!) and a group of us were celebrating a little friends xmas. We all piled into my friend's car to head to a store - if you remember, this was a pretty snowy, freezing weather kind of day, but the snow had let up at this point so we felt comfortable venturing outside. As we're heading to the store, my friend's car starts making some unexpected, weird noises and he pulls off into a gas station (that was closed) to inspect what was going on. Turns out, he had a flat tire and the air pump at the gas station was open, but we were fresh out of quarters in the car. As we sat there wondering what to do next, I quickly pulled up the map to see if there was a Belle Tire in the area because I knew they also have DIY air pumps for your tires. Lo and behold, there was one literally one business up from the gas station we were at - the sign was obstructed from our view by a couple of bushes, but we felt so fortunate that we didn't need to drive the car much further on a flat tire! We pull into the Belle Tire at 5 pm on December 23 and it was then that I noticed they were closing soon at 6 pm. We quickly ran inside to the warmth to ask what the best course of action would be given that they were closing within the hour. Since it was my friend's car, he was handling all the interactions with the staff, but through the updates he provided, I knew the service was exemplary! He happened to be talking to the manager and instead of the manager just doing the "bare minimum" and filling the tire with air and sending us on our way, the manager said to pull the car in so that they could quickly look at it to ensure that if they filled up the tire with air, there wasn't going to be any additional problems with the tire where it would lose the air again really quickly. Turns out, my friend's tire had a massive hole in it that would require a patch, but upon further investigation by Belle Tire's staff, that tire was pretty close to needing to be replaced anyways, along with the rest of the tires on the car. So the manager explained that rather than putting a patch on this tire, only for my friend to have take his car in in another few months to get his tires replaced completely, he recommended that they just replace all the tires now. My friend really appreciated that the manager and his team went above and beyond to fully examine the car and inform him about his options and the entire situation. The manager even said that he was trying to get his staff out as soon as possible to get home to their families given that it was Christmas Eve Eve and Belle Tire was going to be closed on Christmas Eve. So even though this would require a bit more work from his staff, he still wanted the customer (my friend) to be in the best possible situation with his car. This is truly some wonderful customer service and the manager even went in and helped his staff in servicing my friend's car as well so that it was finished as quickly as possible. We left around 7 pm - so an hour after they closed and spent a total of 2 hours there, but it was good vibes the entire time, everyone was so friendly and helpful, and it made a lasting impact on us. We talked about how wonderful of an experience that was for the rest of the evening and even now whenever we hang out and pass by that Belle Tire, we still sing its praises. I didn't catch the name of the manager or any of the staff that helped out, but from the bottom of my heart, I just want to say thank you for all being so wonderful and going above and beyond in providing the best service ever. Came in to get a flat fixed. Repair was made quickly. Everyone was very pleasant. I told them about another problem I was having with my tires and they explained what was causing it and how it can be fixed. I was pleased with the explanation. Will return another day to have it done. read more

I was sold 4 tires that were larger than the manufacturer's required tire for my car on Saturday, 11/30/2025, at the Telegraph store. This was done without my knowledge. When I took my car to the Nowlin Road Belle Tire on Monday, 12/1/2025, for an alignment I was informed of the wrong tire size. Tuesday, 12/2/2025, the tire light came on in my car. I called the Nowlin Road store and they were very busy. I took my car in this morning, Wednesday 12/3/2025, and the salesman checked the tire pressure on all tires. The Left Front was 22#, Right Front 32#, Right Rear 46# & Left Rear was 37#. This is negligence. The tires, according to the mechanic, should be 30#. The valve stem on the Left Front also needed replacing as did the sensors on the back 2 tires. After 3 1/2 hours the valve stem and sensors were replaced and I was assured the tire pressure was set at 33# to accommodate for the cold weather outside. I was informed at that time that the larger tires could be replaced with the manufacturers required tires but they did not have those tires in stock. Later I received a call from Belle Tire and was told by customer service I could receive the $67 difference in cost and I would have to accept the larger tires. If the tires rub (because of the larger size) they will not be covered by the warranty. I can choose to have them replaced once the tires that fit my car are ordered. That means 3 more hours waiting at Belle Tire if I have them exchanged! I need to choose which tires I want! I wanted proper tires with the proper air pressure on Saturday! Belle Tire should have caught the bad stem valve and sensors when they replaced the 4 tires! BUYER BEWARE! read more

I went to get my heat checked to find out why it wasn't working. I told them I think it's the door actuator because I hear the clicking sound near my glove box. I paid $70 for nothing. They told me that we can start off with the thermostat housing. No, it wasn't the thermostat housing that would cost $600. It was the actuator which was repaired by someone else for only $150. Either the mechanics don't know what they're doing or you all are just trying to rip people off. Very upsetting because I've gone here quite a few times but now I don't trust it. read more

I took my suv in because I had noticed a noise it started making when I would drive on the freeway. After a lengthy and detailed inspection (so they say), I was quoted over $2600 in work that needed done. Basically everything they could do in the front end. I said I'd talk to my husband and that weekend we headed up north. On the freeway the noise started again. Turns out it was the plastic piece in front of the tire that had cracked and when I hit high speeds it was hitting the tire. We bolted it back where it had cracked from and never heard the noise again. It took 1 bolt and nut to fix and they wanted $2600. Ironically the same issue happened with my brother, they only quoted him $1900 lol. Ridiculous. This is why it's hard to trust businesses these days. If nothings wrong, still fix something, overcharge and hope the customer feels content. What a scam. read more

Last week I took my truck in to this Belle tire location and had my brakes replaced. They gave me another estimate for over $600 to replace upper and lower control arms. I told them that it fell under my warranty with the dealership. I took it to the dealership and they did some warranty work and I asked them to look at the upper and lower control arms. They told me that they were fine, they were solid and there was nothing wrong with them. Beware if you come to the same Belle Tire location I did for brake repairs. And make sure you check and double check their estimates. read more

Terrible Experience at this Location and I don't recommend going here at all! I paid over $90 to get my Oil Change and Tires Rotated here on my 2020 Jeep Cherokee. During the week we had really Bad Snow I ran out of Washer Fluid before it was Time for my next Oil Change. I pulled up to the Garage Area and asked one of the Technicians could they Refill my Washer Fluid a Simple Request seeing as that I had got my Oil Changed there they told me I needed to go up Front and talk to one of the Sales people. I waited in line for 5 minutes and told them I had something simple and just needed my Washer Fluid filled up since I had just had the Oil changed there the Sales Clerk which was a Short Guy with Short Spiked Hair told me they don't do that there which I was completely out done about how is it that you all don't refill Washer Fluid after it is Empty that's like telling someone that can't get Air in their Tires which is supposedly the only thing there that is Free. He replied well I can sell you some and I replied that is Ridiculous I am not about to pay for something that I already spent $90 for. For Future Reference I will not be providing my Business at this Location and I don't suggest you do either because if you pay $70 to $120 for a Oil Change and Tire Rotation they will not Refill your Washer Fluid! I was hearing this noise underneath the hood and took it in, of course I was no longer making a sound. This week I took it in not only did they hear the noise but was able to repair it before I would've had a bigger problem. I was pleasantly surprised by my service at Belle Tire. From my initial phone call inquiring about times to checking out, my experience was very positive. They didn't try to sell me anything extra that I did not need and treated customers very well. When I got to my car there was a floor paper, seat cover and steering wheel cover to insure my vehicle did not get dirty. This was impressive. My car was taken in for oil change and to check my rear driver's side tire , it had a slow leak. I was able to watch a movie and about an hour every thing was completed. I had a cracked vale that was replaced to stop leakage of air. Friendly service and professional. read more

After running over a pot hole, I knew my tire was damaged because my steering wheel was shaking and I could tell the left side of my car was slightly lower. I dropped my car off overnight; After they checked the wheels on the left driver & rear, my keys were given back and I was told nothing was wrong. The next day, when I got off work, my back tire was flat. I got it towed back, then called the next morning to let them know it was flat. I called later on, before they closed, to check the status. I was told my tire was changed, and to come pay the warranty. I couldn't go back that day because I got off work after they closed. I Uber from work, the next morning during my lunch break to come get my car. I'm now being told my new tire hasn't come in yet and I see my car in the parking lot with the tire still flat. So now I have to Uber back to work and catch a 4th uber tonight to come get my car when I get off work. This is 3 days I've been up here for nothing, wasting $300+ today on uber. If they would've ordered the tire, the first day, like I asked then all of this would've been avoided. I'll never bring my other vehicles to this place. If Detroit roads weren't so bad and my tires for this car weren't under warranty, they'd never see me again... read more

I have used this particular belle tire many times in the past. I recommended this location and i could not believe the service. They were told that we wanted the tires checked because the pressure light was on. Was told that needed two tires only which were replaced. When ask about a wheel alignment was told they did not have time to do it. I thought that was a part of the package. Long story short. Car pulled to the right, went back for alignment they found other expensive issues; back tire had big hole in it which they missed. Left went to another belle tire for the alignment, got it. Car driven back to grand rapids with big hole in tires and shaky. Now two new tires had to be replaced in back. This was very dangerous and belle tire on telegraph will never be used again. So I took my car in because my low washer fluid light came on. So of course I went to my local gas station and bought some fluid. Put it in and it immediately started leaking out from somewhere! Belle checked it and it was the washer pump. I paid $60+. I know what you're thinking; $60+ for a $15-$20 part! Yes! You get what you pay for! Great service and a warranty! I'd pay it again! Fast service! Got there first thing in the morning and my car was done a little after lunchtime. read more

Will never do business here again! Went in because something was wrong with my tire, an associate came out and said he sealed it I was all good to go. Make a long story short, I had to replace the tire because they never told me my rim was bent (didn't receive a receipt) and in the process they knocked off my sensor. I called they said they would replace it but because I waited too long to come back and don't know who I talked to, now I have to pay for it. Crazy, right? I won't give my money to them to replace it, that's for sure. This is the worst place to go for new tires. Heads up! WARNING!!! Stay Away! I bought new tires. They did not do alignment so the tire wore out on the side when I returned after driving it few miles they said the warranty was void, due to mechanical problem. And they offered to buy new tires full price. I called corporate belle tire and they didn't really care about losing a customer. But they offered me 5% (about $20) discount for me to buy 4 new tires again! Just very unprofessional and really rude. Wasted my money . Stopped in to get a plug or a patch on my tire. Instead of doing so they told me my tire is to thin to put A patch on that tire. But we will sell you brand new tires. My tread on my tires is still good i had the tire patched at walmart for ten dollars less then what they were asking for. When I first went into this location to purchase a set of tires I thought wow services great everyone is very friendly they're doing a great job and then Howard the owner of this location cup strongly recommending the warranty on the tires which was pretty pricey. He told me that if something happened to one of the tires that he would personally replace all four tires if I had the warranty. Even told me to go ahead and wear them out to do burnouts and stuff. Joking around with me being real funny but then something did happen to one of my tires a few months later. I brought it up there and to my surprise he did not honor his word at all. He told me that he would not replace any of those tires not even the flat one. Read the warrantee very carefully because this Howard guy will try and sell it to you very hard and he will not honor it he is a piece of s**t. Buy your tires from anywhere else please. If you look at Walmart the tires are literally half of the price and you don't have to deal with that piece of s**t. read more
