I received laser treatment for a toenail fungus. It cost 600 hundred dollars. When I showed up for a follow-up appointment (scheduled several weeks in advance), no one was there. No one answered the phone. I waited 20 minutes and finally someone came to the door (this was in the middle of the day). The owner was moving -- unaware that I had an appointment scheduled, although she had been present when I scheduled the appointment. She said that she would be there in 15 minutes. I returned, but she was not there. I was told that she was not coming in. I then called her back (twice, the first time there was no answer). She said that she had sent me a text message rescheduling. Since I had just spoken with her, I found this odd. I found it even more odd that the text message she said she sent went to a number that was not mine. I said that I was starting to worry that I was a victim of a scam. She said that was insulted and would not work with me any more. She said she would return my money the following week. When I called her the following week, she refused to give me a full refund -- despite the fact that it is a stated and advertised policy of her store -- but would only refund me 425 dollars.

That changed though, as I booked an appointment with Jasmine -- thanks to recommendations from friends that have the best hair color/styles (and ironically go to Jasmine too). Jasmine did a stellar job not only cutting my hair, but also coloring (balayage). She was friendly, polite, and was happy to answer my many questions about the process and what she was doing. I'm happy to say I've been consistent with my hair appointments now, since I've FINALLY have a true professional and trustworthy hair stylist. Thank you, Jasmine! Not only that, but the salon staff is so friendly too. With a recent product pickup they included a sweet handwritten note.

I once spent $50 on a double French braid here, as a way to manage my hair on a camping trip. The stylist, for one, was miserable, like my request was a burden to her, and two, she didn't use any product. Not a single one. I had to take the braids out within an hour because they looked so bad. I ended up paying a random person on the street $10 to re-braid my hair with love light and product, and it was gorgeous.

Before the procedure, I filled out a waiver that explained what dermaplaning was and possible side effects, and I appreciated that they were honest about what the procedure entailed. The procedure itself took about 20 minutes (estimate) and just felt like someone scratching my skin a bit. It's hard to explain, but it was never uncomfortable. First your skin is cleansed and a hot towel is applied to soften skin before the procedure. After, I had the choice of a Vitamin C, collagen, or moisturizing sheet mask (I went with collagen), which was left on for about another 20 minutes. Finally, serums and creams were applied. I had brought my own sunscreen, but if you don't have any they will also apply that for you. Overall my experience was great and I would definitely re-book for another dermaplaning appointment!

The receptionist booked me for Botox and took my cc info. When I went there for my appointment, the doctor said she doesn't have any Botox and only offer dysport or xeomin. These are cheaper alternatives to me and I didn't want them when I booked a Botox appointment. They seem to pull a bait and switch on customers when you are there and maybe some people are like well I am already here so I will just take the dysport or xeomin. The front desk woman said they basically promote as Botox because she assumed people are only familiar with that brand, only to inform you much later at your appointment that they don't even use Botox. This is very shady. I consider this a bad business and to avoid them at all costs! When it comes down to it, an injection place that doesn't offer the mainstay of Botox is very odd! So watch out friends! They will waste your time with frozen smiles on their faces, which in and of itself is very disturbing!

I was contemplating some type of hair restoration for a year. I researched the different types,…read moreboth non-surgical and surgical (FUE, DHI, FUT, LLLT, Medicinal etc). When I decided that FUE would be my preferred option, I looked into traveling to Turkey, using the 1 provider in my small city, going to a large metropolitan city or utilizing a center which performs hair restoration frequently and has many positive reviews. I came across Quatela Center in Rochester NY. I have spoken with other centers (some would not answer questions until I paid and made an appointment with the provider. Some would not discuss an approximate cost (I know it can vary widely). When I spoke to Sue, my first contact from Quatela, she was friendly, informative, open and discussed the general process at length with no pressure. I felt like part of the team from the first phone call. The process from the beginning was smooth, client centered and professional. The Hair Team Manager, Stacie, was outstanding! Dr. Lee was down to earth, understanding and experienced. The procedure was explained in detail. Stacie assisted coordinating all of the pre-procedural requirements. She even completed the EKG when I had difficulty obtaining one. Upon arrival to Rochester, I had inadvertently chosen accommodations, which were substandard. When Quatela casually asked about it, they proceeded to arrange a high-quality hotel at no additional charge! I knew I was in for a pleasant experience. The next morning arriving early, Stacie and her team met me to initiate the procedure. Dr. Lee outlined the plan. The team worked like a well-oiled machine (Dr. Lee, Stacie, Moo, Maria, Latoya). They worked consistently, diligently and timely. The vibe that they enjoyed what they do and respect one another was evident. They were consistently asking me about comfort every step of the way. The most uncomfortable time was the injections for the nerve blocks, otherwise i felt pressure, but minimal pain. We listened to music and the time went by quickly, from preparing the donor hair to implanting. I was impressed at the way this Quatela team worked together. The facility was impressive and clean. The aftercare instructions were detailed. I had very little pain during or after. I am so pleased with the outcome, and it has only been 1-week status post procedure. I am very thankful I didn't travel overseas or go to a larger metropolitan city. Quatela was the perfect fit for me. Quatela obviously excels at what they do best. If anyone is contemplating utilizing Quatela, you will not be disappointed in the care you receive as they are exceedingly client centered and focused at delivering high-quality care. Thank you to the Quatela Center for Hair Restoration team who made me feel seen, heard and respected throughout this journey. I highly recommend this hair restoration team; Hats off to them! A++
