I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment when the very rude secretary informed me that I called a week before and canceled my appointment. I informed her that I did not call and cancel my appointment on the stated date or any date for that matter. I also informed her I drove an hour to get to this appointment, she proceeded to tell me I must have forgotten I canceled it and they could not see me. I could wait in the waiting room and they would squeeze me in when they could but no estimate on how long I would have to wait. She did not apologize once and stated "I have kids I have no patience for this kind of thing". I then asked to speak to a manager who was unavailable so I asked if she could call me when she had time, it's been 4 months now she still hasn't called me. I then called cooperate who assured me they did not have an incoming call from my number on said date. I asked someone from cooperate management to call me I was assured someone would call me, again it's been 4 months and still nothing. This was the Rochester location. I have been to this location several times before this with no issues but this was very disheartening. Very sloppy business practice, not customer focused. Would not recommend!! read more

1 star is to much. Was told and shown over phone what an after pic was for my body type. Signed up for Cool Sculpting treatments. 4200.00 later not a single change and told sometimes you need more treatments. So pay more for something that the first 4200.00 paid for, without one thing changed. Are you kidding me. Nothing was done for me, just oh well, we can do more treatments. I would give 0 starts if I could. What a nightmare. I called and set up appointments with them around 8/4/24. I live in Syracuse, so it is a drive for me to go to Rochester. Then they said I had to make 2 visits. I talked to them again and was told I could do it all in one visit. They called some days later and said I missed my first visit. I told them it was cancelled because you said I could do it all the same day. They said that that was not possible, so I told them I was going to cancel because it was not worth it to me to have to travel twice and I seem to be getting the run around. After much talking, on 8/30/24 Molly (clinic manager) agreed to refund my downpayment and cancel all future additional monthly payments that were set up. Of course that was not done. They are claiming I went there for an appointment, which I never did. This all started in August, and I am still fighting a dispute with my credit card company because they are denying the cancellation. This is a few thousand dollars we are talking about and I never even received a 1 treatment! From what I am seeing, it is a big scam. People have paid $4,000 and see 0 results. Run! read more

I paid for a service thinking I'd be able to move forward with it but when I saw my doctor he told me I couldn't get the service, I just recently had surgery and my doctor said I wasn't allowed to do anything to my stomach due to complications, I got a doctors note from him and they said their doctor whose never seen me or talked to me said it was ok for me to do the service even my doctor who I've been seeing for years said I couldn't get it done. They wouldn't refund me, so then I got a second and 3rd doctors note, my primary and dermatologist, stating that I couldn't get that procedure done. They offered to let me switch services, but I can't get laser due to a skin condition, I don't want Botox or filler, I've already had laser hair removal. And that's all they offer. I've emailed about 12 times and called at least 8-10 times and no one will get back to me. The last guy I spoke to was cold as ice and extremely rude and now they are just holding my money and ignoring me. They are the worst company I've ever dealt with. I have medical reasons and notes why I can't get the services and they still won't refund me. Who does this? They are scammers and thieves if you ask me. Ideal Image contacted me by email. They contacted me since I was a previous customer and already had an interest in their BBL/IPL Photo facials. That was with the previous techs and management. That I thought was still there. They kept contacting me by phone and email to pay them upfront. I finally paid them half. I made the mistake of paying the other half before talking to the actual tech. Then my stomach sunk. It was a scam. I was offered a discount and I purchased treatments. Once there, the girl said my hands were red and wouldn't treat them. I'm Mexican, Native American, Caucasian. I'm 64 and my skin is dark with age spots, as anyone with eyes that looks can see. Then I was told they don't do a normal session at first. They start off with nothing and work their way up until they use up your money and need to pay more, to get the same Photo Facial that is a normal FIRST BBL/IPL. I did my research prior to going. Expecting, if I don't like it, ill take my money and leave. Not with ideal image. They take the money and never give it back without court intervention. I did my research prior and know my Ethnicity. My GOD, I should know my own skin. They were saying I was sun burnt and couldn't do what I paid for, they refused to give me back any money. The old Ideal Image use to examine you and then say what they could do and how they would do the procedures. They set up a plan and cost. You never gave them money and then they say what they will do, and if you don't like it they keep the money the took fraudulently. Only street hoods CON people like this. Today, I get pretty insulted when I read "Permanent" hair removal. I was an eager client who bought in to that pitch. Was tired of my unwanted hair on my back, so fell for the Ideal Image consultation that I would be hair free after approximately 12 treatments. I paid over $4,000. for these treatments and at that price you would think that I would be at least close to 100% satisfied at its conclusion....Not even close! I would say it was more like 10% of my hair did not regrow. I did mention my displeasure to Ideal Image management, but was told that if I wanted to continue that it would cost me an additional $100. per session. I was also informed (only after my original commitment) that the reason I wasn't completely satisfied is because my thick Italian follicles were more difficult to treat. Also keep in mind that laser hair removal does not work on Grey or White hair as well. So in other words, unless you have Fine, Blonde hair you will be wasting your money. Trust me when I tell you, I've spoken to other people who also used their services, and they too said they were not pleased at their results as well. Horrible, Awful experience all the way thru. I had botox and juverderm. I also bought into the membership which cost $250, so that I could get botox in the future for a lower price. The juverderm was lumpy for several weeks with a larger bump near my lip that took quite awhile to go away. I was to get a BBL treatment free for signing up for the membership. When I had this done, back in May, I couldn't get the BBL until July. They called the day of the appt. and said they had to cancel and to reschedule for september. I wasn't going to accept this and wanted another appt. asap. The girl hung up on me and I've tried calling back and no one answers. Will never go back to get botox at the lower price. I paid for Ultherapy and Botox. It was a rather LARGE chunk fo change. I am dissatisfied with my botox.. the formula is too watered down. I have had Botox in Florida and have been super satisfied with the results. There was virtually NO CHANGE with the treatment at Ideal Image. The treatment has lasted only 2 months. The Ultherapy was the most painful experience I have EVER had in a spa-like setting. It lasted over 2 hours. I felt I could have been prepared mentally so much more by the staff than what I was. The treatment left a ton of bruising on chin and neck areas. It has been almost 2 months since the treatment and I am still very tender in those areas. I have tingling and numbness too... I can't believe this has happened to me. I was hoping for results.... noticeable results and the results so far have been disappointing, to say the least. The only repeating results in this investment have been extreme tenderness and loss of normal feeling in the jawline and chin area. When you consider that they have an F rating with the BBB, this means they are creating false good reviews on these websites. Zero stars, the worst and sickest retail interaction of my life. The treatment I received at Ideal Image did not even come mildly close accomplish what they explicitly said it would; when I complained about this in a letter, they FULLY IGNORED my complaint and sent me a form letter which was posed as a real letter; then, when I talked to the manager on the phone, she repeatedly lied to me in eerie ways until it was so obvious that she could not speak truth that I had to tell her I would file a complaint with the BBB. To explain, I have average forehead wrinkles. Their nurse rightly noted (which was the only right thing they did!) that I have average wrinkles, and the nurse said that the "average dose" - "64 units for $640" - would be sufficient to make my forehead right or largely reduce all of the wrinkles. I chose 50 units for $500, to test it out. The result was very little difference, many of my wrinkles having no difference at all. (I really doubt they gave me 50 units, because my forehead was average, and there was so little difference, but THIS IS NOT THE CRUCIAL POINT of how sick they were to deal with). I sent a letter, stating the fact, that I had taken 78% of the treatment which was supposed to make my forehead right (largely reduce all wrinkles), but my forehead looked far more unchanged than righted (many wrinkles looking identical). And then I noted (in this letter) that their original diagnosis and treatment - 64 units - was obviously very wrong, it was obviously not enough to right my head, as they had said it would be. Since it was obvious that the original diagnosis and treatment was very wrong, I demanded (in this letter) some reasonable reparation, and I noted also that I was NOT going to simply come in and pay for the last 14 units, given that their original diagnosis and treatment was obviously very wrong. They never read my letter, replying with a form letter, claiming to me that the obvious problem was that I had not received the full 64 units, and adding that I simply need to "come and pay for the additional units." If you consider what I wrote and what they wrote, they obviously ignored my complaint and sent me a form letter which was PROMOITING EXACTLY WHAT I WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT: I did not want to come in and pay for the full 64 and more because their diagnosis was wrong, and their form letter simply stated that I should come in and pay for the full 64. Finally, I spoke to the manager, Melissa Terrana, on the phone. Several times, I outlined my basic argument which, again, was this: they had diagnosed me as needing 64 units to right my face, and since 50 units had left my face almost the same and not right at all, obviously the original diagnosis was very wrong, and thus I need some reasonable reparation. Melissa began to lie, by acting like she had not heard my complaint, and just reiterating over and over, "The problem is that you need to get the full 64 units that was diagnosed, and then maybe pay for more units too. That's your problem." As I complained more by emphasizing that their ORIGINAL DIAGNOSIS (of 64) WAS OBVIOUSLY VERY WONG, she then started to talk about how "Men's muscles are stronger than women's and need more botox," and then I replied, "And thus you just elaborated how your ORIGINAL DIAGNOSIS WAS VERY WRONG because you did not originally say that I would need more than 64, so you should now give me reparations!" But then she replied absurdly, "The problem is that you must come in and get the full 64 and then MAYBE PAY FOR MORE BECAUSE YOU ARE A MAN WITH STRONGER MUSCLES." Obviously, her rhetoric was a twilight zone of false argument which would ignore my complaint endlessly. She could not reply to me in any reasonable way. She knew one scam sale, and she knew one scam sales pitch: they tell you it will cost X to fix your face, and then, when it clearly will cost more than X to fix your face, then they come up with crap about how you have to pay more to fix your face. I had cool sculpting done here and had no results at all. I expressed that I was dissatisfied at my follow up and was told to wait for the consultant who I had initially signed up with to be free. I told her the same thing, because she told me when I went for my consultation that if I wasn't happy with the results they would work with me and/or reimburse me. When we had the conversation this time, she was very cold and standoffish and told me explicitly there was nothing she could do because the service had already been provided. I reminded her of our original conversation and told her that if I knew this would be the actual outcome (them not doing anything to correct the experience) I wouldn't have done the cool sculpting. I left when she responded to that with "I don't know what to tell you, there's nothing I can do". I now know she was just saying what she needed to say to get me to sign up, even though me signing up was based on a lie. I've got a low tolerance for pain so I was nervous about laser treatment but after taking a poll, found out a lot of my friends had gotten it done and heard it wasn't that bad. The pain is a quick zapping sensation with a little heat (based on my hair/skin type I had to use a different laser). All the girls were competent and professional which I appreciated. I made an online free consultation appointment and within minutes I had a phone call to discuss an appointment time for that same day! When I arrived the place was so welcoming and the receptionist was new but super friendly and ready to get me going! Soon after I was in with the consultant who was knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable with the laser hair removal process! I've honestly never been that open and willing to answer questions! After getting all my options and she worked really hard to get me the best deal ever she got me in that night for my first treatment session! My nurse was honestly the funniest and kindest person ever, i was super comfortable and my nerves went away immediately because she was so awesome! When I say blown away by my experience I mean it! I'm usually super shy and not willing to try new things but the staff and their expertise along with their ability to make the whole process comfortable and quick was PERFECT! I am so disappointed with this place and there services. 1 year and 5500$ later I look exactly the same. I had cool sculpting on my abdomen( 2 large treatments total on each side) and my flanks (2 large treatments each side) which is what they recommended. I am not a huge person but not tiny either and they said my body type was perfect for procedure. Guess that's the con job line. If I could sue this place I would.
