    Incredibile Marion berry scones!

We had excellent cappuccinos, a delicious stuffed croissant, a stupid-incredible Marion berry scone! Service was fantastic!! Also loved the door-open fresh air and outdoor seating. Highly recommend

    - We went at around 11:30 AM on a Monday and it was mostly empty (which was great for us!). Plenty of seating inside and outside. - Smiling, upbeat workers who seemed to enjoy working and engaging with guests. - The food was all great! We got a scone, empanadas, and a breakfast sandwich. The hot food was the perfect temperature and appeared freshly prepared. The scone was loved by my girlfriend although I would have liked more berries in it, but it was huge! We had enough to take home and enjoy later too. - I loved the fact that the syrups are locally made. I believe the shop makes some themselves while others are locally-sourced. That really elevated the experience and was a welcome surprise. - Nice atmosphere that wasn't too loud when we went. I enjoyed the fun, indie music that was playing (which is usual in coffee shops I suppose). - When we went, street parking was available but, again, it was Monday around 11:30 so not really a peak-time. - Appeared to really support local businesses and events. Had a bulliten board in the back with posters from various concerts and events happening around town. Feedback: - I forgot to take pictures of it myself, but posting updated pictures/listing their menu online would be helpful. We picked the place based on it's online reviews but would have preferred to know more about the menu before arriving to ensure there were things we could both eat. (Diet-wise and taste-preference.) - It can be harder to find because it's tucked back from the street a little but once we rounded the corner it was easy to spot.

Delicious chai tea latte and drip coffee!! We are so happy we stopped! Great vibe in the cafe along with great music! We also had great service from Keely! When in downtown Bend, this is the place to stop!

I'm familiar with Bend and its community, but I recently moved here fully about 3 months ago. I wasn't expecting much, after a few cafes fell short in my expectations. However, i was blown away by the creativity in drinks, decor, and environment! The drinks aren't ridiculously expensive, which residents know is pretty rare. I had one of their summer specials, which was the lavender lemonade. They make it themselves and when i had payment troubles, the baristas helped me the entire time. I will definitely be coming back, if not for the drinks then definitely for the built in foldout stools!! :)

In a great area and so cute inside. Friendly service and my latte was tasted great. It seems the perfect place to relax and drink coffee with friends.

I had a perfect cherry mocha this afternoon. Not too sweet, not too acidic coffee, the perfect temp and fantastic skill in steaming the milk to get the right amount of foam. I wanted to savor every sip but I also couldn't stop sipping! The baristas were kind and personable. I learned their syrups are locally made! It was a fun place to be in, with delicious coffee.

You shouldn't run a $2 traditional drink special on Yelp for every day, if your barista is going to tell your customers that it's only good for Tuesday's.

First time here. Really good coffee, great pastries, friendly staff and a great place to work on your laptop or tablet.

Our fav coffee place in Bend. So good. Nice spot to come in from the cold when doing some shopping in the winter. Park is across the street.

It's very conveniently located within walking distance to the rest of downtown Bend. It can get pretty packed, and seating isn't always guaranteed, but if you have time to hang around, the atmosphere is well worth experiencing. There's a bar-style seating area where locals seemed genuinely settled in, giving the shop a true neighborhood feel. I ordered a large Belgian Mocha, which was rich in flavor while not being overly sweet. The espresso was definitely still there, so the drink was beyond just a dessert vibe. Service was friendly and efficient, with my drink ready in just a few minutes despite the crowd. Overall, this is a lively downtown coffee spot best suited for those who want quality drinks and don't mind a local crowd.

Additionally, our barista gave us a coupon for a free 12oz drink because it took more than five minutes for us to get the breakfast sandwich, it didn't seem like a long time to me but that is just good service. The music was tasteful and not too loud which helped cultivate the calm and pleasant ambiance. The pastries were delightful, so good in fact that I was unable to get a photo due to my inability to delay taking a bite as soon as we sat down. We had the ham and gruyère croissant and the plain croissant. The breakfast sandwich was great; the homemade English muffins were dense but not heavy, the bacon was perfectly thick and crispy, the egg was well done, and the pesto mayo tied it all together. The Latte was solid, I regret not trying the syrups which I found out were homemade after I had ordered, it seemed as though everyone who ordered after me got the cardamom syrup in their drinks. My girlfriend got the hemp milk latte, unsweetened. She is a matcha snob and was pleased with her order, which is a rarity for coffee forward places such as Thump. Stop at Thump if you're in Bend.

Watershed is my go to, close to home, love it, cozy place…read more I feel warmed and welcomed here. I'm excited to be here, every time I come. They pump out drinks like it's easy and second nature, but I know it's a skilled craft. No matter how busy they are, it's always speedy. The indoor seating looks like you would never get an open seat, but the little inside tables up close to the pickup window are never occupied long, and there always seems to be a bigger table of 4 open. The backyard is where it's at! Although don't get me wrong on the inside too, it'll grab you with old cozy mill house adhock, general craftsman vibes and leave you wanting to stay awhile, sit a spell and come again and again just to enjoy the vibe. It's super cramped inside at the order line, but people are courteous and make a way for you to get through. The center post kinda makes a dividing line that causes there to be an in, and an out line. So it's like it's much bigger really, and much more organized than it may at first seem. The bathroom can be a bit of a wait, in the mix of things, but the drinks and ambiance by the river are well worth it. The bathroom is clean, well maintained and cozy as well. It's well decorated. With curtains on the inner window, and bathroom spray. And multiple mirrors to chose from. I mention the bathroom because this is often a very neglected place in both cleanliness and decorum by many businesses, but not here. Step outside with your drink, or while you wait. And you'll be greeted with the best ambiance and river views you can find. Views of mirror pond, the old historic white steeple in the distance, the pretty houses and the calm of the pond. A view you probably noticed through the old pained windows when you came in, and moved through the light crowd to get to your seat, or the order window to the left. Plenty of room to find a seat at one of the many tables and chairs, and just generally have your own space. There are some picnic tables to choose from too. The drinks are superb, I always hear rave reviews from those I bring, or go with, as to their smoothies. Their coffee was always a fine escape of flavors and aromas in years past when I still drank coffee. Daily rotating roasts and globally sourced beans to choose from. I personally get the matcha here, and it just satisfies beyond measure. Filling the palate with a rich, creamy foam of the milk, without the "foam" present when you get down into the drink. It's like the top foam just never goes away. It's a palate pleaser, for sure!! I am amazed that they do an iced or hot oat milk matcha just as well as one, or the other. Each satisfies with that sweet oaty richness to soothe and fill the palate and the senses. In my book of matchas, this is the best matcha in Central Oregon!! Ps. it comes pre-sweetened, I used to get it as a shy scoop with cinnamon powder so it wasn't as sweet. But I grew into the sweetness and just get it standard now with cinnamon. I love that it's rich and not overpowering. It doesn't leave your mouth dry from the sweetness. The drinks aren't too hot when they come out of the window, so they won't burn you. They're baby bear just right. Come to this little haunt, and enjoy a stay and a drink. You won't regret it.
