Wow I couldn't be more disappointed in a cafe... This place was dirty, over priced, poor parking to get to the store, and the customer service was absolutely horrible. I have been here a few times. It doesn't ever get better so this will be the last time I will ever go to this place. read more

I don't know who the wizard is of Bellatazza coffee, but their power makes every cup of coffee magical. It's my favorite coffee!! I frequently order it at other restaurants or bakeries that serve it, too. read more

Bellatazza - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Bend, Oregon

The location here next to the breezeway is great. It gives it a cool feeling during the middle of the summer in Bend. The coffee shop is reminiscent of a larger chain, the menu is well thought out and the service is very friendly. The baristas are all quick and easily show their committment to quality. These are the things I like about a coffee shop. There are only a couple of things I don't like about it. First up, the coffee. We must of visited on a day where quality control was out because it was burned; not as I expected. The pricing was kind of high...the creative ambiance is not always good enough. I'm sure that this place has it's loyal clientele and thats a good thing. It's just not the best in Bend. read more

I got what i ordered and it tasted great!. I order a very simple coffee, americano, but it is the best way to taste what coffee taste like and in my opinion best way to judge a good roast. A bit slow but there seems to be only one person running the show most of the time. read more

Bellatazza- The original birthplace of extraordinary coffee and espresso in downtown Bend. Bellatazza will always have a place in my heart for educating me about excellent espresso, and coffee drinks. It is still capable of producing great drinks efficiently, but I think it was even more quality a few years back. Definitely worth checking out for anybody who is exploring downtown Bend, or even Central Oregon. My favorite drink is a double 8oz americano, with lots of room and whip cream. Small, strong, and delicious. read more

While Bend, like many PNW cities, appears to have an abundance of coffee options, this is one worth seeking out while in downtown Bend. A huge variety of coffee drinks - a local friend of mine ordered a doppio cadrona and the baristas didn't bat an eye. Friendly service, efficient staff and good coffee make this one to come back to. Foodwise, I've only ordered shortbread and smaller items that they get from the Village Bakery - but then again, why would you care about the food at a coffee shop? read more

When I'm in town this is a perfectly located place to have meetings and the best coffee in town. Service is impeccable, the barista are helpful with no pretentious attitudes. Depending on the mood I order house coffee, soy chai or an Italian soda. All are delicious all the time. The house coffee switches out almost every day so you get to try different varietals and experience things you normally wouldn't. And they use locally produced chai from http://MyChai.com which is the best. Enjoy! read more

Stopped here on our way through town. We each had an americano, they were hot and delicious! It's a cute little shop with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Also lots of plant and even some for sale! read more

I've been here a couple of times, the coffee is strong and the staff are friendly. I've only had a coffee and a tea (about a year ago). read more

Bellatazza - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Bend, Oregon

I don't know that this is the best coffee in Bend, but it's good coffee, the staff is friendly, and the outdoor tables provide one of the best of locations for enjoying a nice day downtown and doing some people watching. For speciality coffee beverages there are probably places in town that do a better job than here, but I'm a "coffee black" person most of the time and this works well to get my caffeine fix on the days when outdoor ambiance is also a priority. read more

Ordered a 16 oz chai tea with oat milk & the staff forgot to make mine & made me a 20 oz for the wait; I was in no rush & did not mind. The staff were really friendly & kind for making me a large instead. The chai tea with oat milk is delicious!! read more

Great espresso. Definitely 3rd wave. Came up to Bend from the SF Bay Area for the eclipse. Of all the coffee i've had while in Oregon, this is surely the best. Thanks read more

I've been coming in here for years, today was the first time I've experience such horrible service. Not even a thank you and both females looked liked they may have had a terrible morning. Other than today, I would have given your business *****! Not very busy and the tables were not cleaned. When I come in again if these two are working I will go to Gordan, he's nice all the time. There's no one in the store and both are on their phones. read more

I walked down for a coffee the other day. It was great. Good service. Ok price. Great coffee. Strong but not too strong- really it was great. read more

Very rude staff. Entered the coffee shop and got yelled at while not wearing a mask. Sorry, was pulling it out of my pocket to put it on, honest mistake. Then Attempted to use the restroom prior to ordering and again was yelled at "are you planning on ordering?". When I said yes, I was then offered the restroom code. So, not a positive experience at all and the coffee wasn't even poured. Won't be patronizing this place Again. read more

Went here on 08/11/16 at about 11:30. Waiter was rude and coffee was disgusting. Perhaps we came here on a bad day, but this place really isn't 4 1/2 stars: not sure how that happens. I frequently write reviews on yelp and stand by what I wrote. Management needs to work on both customer service and quality consistency in their products. read more

My wife and I stumbled upon this place after our original selection wasn't open at 7:30 a.m. Really? A coffee place not open at 7:30 a.m. On a Saturday morning? I'm not going to name that place because I'm giving them a chance to redeem themselves tomorrow. Anyway, back to Bellatazza. I had a standard white mocha and it was on par with Starbucks. It could have been a bit stronger so next time I'll get a white mocha americano to get the extra shot of espresso. The location is right in the heart of downtown Bend so it's perfect. We will definitely go here again when we come back for another visit! read more

Their coffee is amazing. We had a large party and went in on Christmas and the customer service was great. From the peppermint mochas to dirty chais they were exquisitely made and were used as the place to beat for coffee the rest of our trip. read more

07/16/2014 Update: I just spoke with the owner and I have to offer props and kudos for his responsiveness to my review. He contacted me almost immediately and has offered to go WAY above and beyond to provide a better coffee experience the next time I am in town. I look forward to meeting him and enjoying what will no doubt be a far better cup. I will be back and will continue to give business to a local business owner who cares so much about offering a great product with excellent customer service. What a disappointment! For a Bend favorite, I really expected better. I ordered two, 16 oz, Iced Americanos, sweetened with honey. I was charged $7.10 for the drinks (yes, you read that right, $7.10 for what equated to 4 shots of espresso, ice, water, and about 2 Tbl of honey) because they charged extra for the honey....what?? According to the clerk, honey is a "flavoring." I order this drink all the time at other coffee establishments and never get charged extra, this was just bizarre. Anyway, the barista did not bother to stir the honey into the hot espresso before pouring the ice on it, so our honey just sat in the bottom of the cup, nice and hard. Honestly, I expected better from such a popular coffee shop. I'll probably pass on my iced Americano next time if my only choice in the area is Bellatazza. read more

Stuart and Crew, Thank you for creating a vibe to invite and return to again and again! Many months ago a barista agreed to help with my daughter's birthday scavenger hunt. As the groups made their way to Bellatazza, they were welcomed and had a great time getting coffee and the next clue for the hunt! read more

A great coffee shop that shows the best Bend has to offer. Very very friendly baristas, nice atmosphere, definitely top notch. And to boot you get one of the best WiFi connections in the downtown area and that is critical for any coffee shop these days. This is a great place to hang out, have a cookie or a mocha and just chill. read more

MAKE LOCAL HABIT. The owner does just that. He is a part of the community. He is the original coffee house in Bend in fact. He is in the heart of downtown for a reason, quietly at the center of it all as he should be. You can't grow coffee here so he has made himself a part of the community where his coffee grows as well. He knows the families and the soil where his beans grow in Guatemala and brings all that love back to Bend. Amazing coffee. Amazing owner. I support them 100%. read more

Best coffee in Bend!! It's a small place, so service can be a little slow, but you'll see it's totally worth it. Good pastries, too, but they sell fast! read more

Horrible, horrible customer service. Alisha waited on us and couldn't handle the simplest of inquiries. She seemed angry and putout. Will never go back. read more

Insanely great coffee and a great chill vibe. Can't speak to the pastries, but the espresso I had once and the mocha the next day were both fantastic. If you're passing through Bend and need a quick coffee stop, this is your place. read more

Live Local, Eat Local. A wonderful place tucked away in downtown. Good coffee, friendly and quick service, a nice place to sit and relax with friends, or if you must, your computer! A break from the giant corporate machine, that is most welcome. read more

Bellatazza has good specialty coffee and a great downtown location. They're an awesome part of the Bend culture, but the service is consistently bad. The coffee and the tea are good, and I hate to cover up the foam art. I recommend grabbing a coffee and enjoying it in Drake Park. read more

Yum coffee and baked goods. The carrot cake muffin and hazelnut biscotti were delicious. Plus the staff was extra friendly!

Delicious, locally roasted coffee -always staffed with knowledgeable and friendly staff member(s). Whether you're in the mood for a traditional espresso or a decadent, sweet coffee treat, Bellatazza makes it happen. Service is always quick and efficient. The owner is lovely and super involved in his cafe and the customer's happiness. Love stopping in when I'm downtown. read more

Great place to get coffee. Local, with friendly baristas that know their trade. Small plate / snack offerings from local bakeries like the ham and cheese croissant from Nancy Ps, make a great pairing with delicious coffee options like a cortado or cappuccino. Definitely a great place to visit in Bend. read more

Honestly the best coffee anywhere. This is my regular Saturday stop and they never disappoint. The staff takes pride in their artistry and are always very attentive and friendly. The owner is a rockstar who cares about his people and it shows. The coffee though!!! read more

Best coffee around! Good, quick snacks and service. Would love to have this gem in my neighborhood.

Good coffee. The Mango Jasmine smoothie was good too and the service was excellent. They have outdoor seating.

I've been here twice in the past week and really love the vibe of this place. Their loose leaf selection is excellent, and their maple cinnamon scone tastes just like pancakes-- yum! I only wish they had a couple other seating options, as the space can fill up rather quickly. That said, a wonderful experience there! read more

The best Gluten Free cookies and brownies ever! Pair their GF almond butter cookie along with a hazelnut latte and you have one perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner! Our fav coffee place in Bend. So good. Nice spot to come in from the cold when doing some shopping in the winter. Park is across the street.

The barista work made my drink was super nice and very helpful! She explained to me the different flavors and the way they make their coffee! Locally made flavors! The maple one is delicious. My go-to cafe every morning! I love the laid back, welcoming atmosphere, which makes Bellatazza very conducive to getting work/studying done or having a nice conversation with friends or travelers passing through. Everybody who works there is super nice and resourceful when it comes to suggestions. Also, the staff is always smiling and playing the best music. I feel very welcomed there. Definitely try their lattes or any traditional drink. Another huge plus.....the coffee is locally roasted in Bend! read more
