Because now that's my job too? I'm very frustrated by their lack of compassion and desire to uphold the law. Their regular pedicure involves a paraffin dip, leg massage, and typical nail maintenance and polish change. The spa pedicure changes per season on the type of lotions they use. There is a lot more leg massage, leg wrapped with lotion and saran wrap and an upper body & face massage. They have a point card, you get more points when you use cash. Piper's studio was clean and welcoming, and she herself was very friendly and put me at ease. This was probably the least painful one I've ever had too. She uses a combination of strip and hard wax which (I feel) made it easier to get everything off. She is a true professional and clearly knows what she's doing. They open at 8 and my appointment was 8:30. The secretary was lovely and the aesthetician was great. That's not my concern. When i walked into the room i could tell the white hygienic paper had already been used that was draped over the table because not only were there wrinkles in it but there were dark spots at the top where you rest your head, in the middle and down by where say your ankles would be. i concluded it could possibly be post wax oils(?) and frankly i almost walked right out the door because i was really grossed out but i was desperate since my regular lady who i have been going to for 20 years is on vacation. At the end she even asked "do you want a massage or no?" when my nails were drying and it seemed like she just wanted me to say "no". I said yes please and she promptly put a 2 min timer in front of my face and gave a weak lackluster massage that said without saying "I'm done here". It seemed that a lot of regulars came in, and perhaps other technicians are friendlier and more detailed oriented, but unfortunately that was not my experience.
