I have been a loyal customer for quite some time and have always really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately, during my last visit, my eyebrows were waxed, and some of the wax dripped onto the zipper of my brand-new handbag. The technician attempted to remove it, but in the process, the bag was discolored and the zipper was damaged. I was very disappointed when the technician denied responsibility for the damage. When I went to pay, she hovered over me to see how much of a tip I was going to give her, which was uncomfortable and somewhat ridiculous, given the circumstances. I will note that I paid for the service- I didn't want to be accused of leaving without paying for that service. I believe that a business should take responsibility for any damage caused to a customer's belongings while on the premises. Had the technician taken responsibility and offered to compensate me for the damage, I would have been satisfied. I'm really very disappointed. read more

My new go to ! Got my bridal wax and lashes lift. Just amazing. All the staffs were very friendly and accommodating. They took their time and and made sure I was happy with the results. I usually get irritation after wax but not this time ! And my lashes looked amazing and they still are the same way. I won't be able to go anywhere else besides GBS! I've been going here for my eyebrows for a while now and TULSI is the BEST!!!!! I was ALWAYS satisfied with her work. For the past month I've been popping in to see if she's there but one of the lady won't give me a straight answer as to if she still works there or not. I really needed my eyebrows done and I let one of the other ladies do it but it wasn't like when tulsi do it! Does anyone know where she is if she moved to another location! A hidden gem for henna!! My friends and I stopped in to have henna done. Signing in on an iPad using our cell numbers, we sat and peeked at a notebook full of designs, eventually deciding on custom designs. Only one staff member was available, but she worked efficiently and attended to each patron in a timely manner. She was extremely kind and knew exactly what she was doing, even with doing custom designs for our henna. She was also very patient and took care with her work, her hands moving with assurance. The only thing that was slightly off-putting was that we had our henna done on the couches in the waiting area. It's a smaller shop, so it's understandable that there isn't too much a space to put tables specifically for henna but it was a little awkward to have it done right people come in and wait. This is definitely my new place to get henna done. I'm so impressed with the staff member's work that I want to keep having it done every time it fades. If you're looking for a place to do henna, this is it and I highly recommend it!! read more

A little more painful than I expected but for $13 and 10minutes of my time I was able to walk in with scary eyebrows and walked out with a more presentable appearance. I did not have to wait and after asking what services I wanted I was sat in a chair and she got to work. The space is not fancy but it gets the job done. I will be back. read more

Happy to see more threading shops pop up, but this one was not my favorite. The woman who helped me did the threading so slowly that I could feel each little hair being pulled out. I should have run when I saw the girl in the chair before me - she had tears streaming out of her eyes while getting her eyebrows done. The prices are fair and comparable to Unique (Rocky Hill) and Diva (Manchester), but so far I haven't found a match for Diva's threading skills and technique. read more

The only reason why i went to this place was for my (TULSI)!!! One time i found my self walking in only to find out Tulsi was on vaca i allowed the owner to thread my eyebrows first and last time smh, i went back after 2wks with messed up eyebrows and was told i had to have waxed. I rarely write reviews but I JUST got my eyebrows done - originally from Boston but visiting the family for a bit. Things are opening back up during the COVID chaos. So I figured to get my eyebrows done after three months. I've also never had problems dropping into random threading places. I should have waited to get back to Boston. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded for six years now. I'm so frustrated. I understand that threading hurts. But this lady did it SO slowly. It hurt, like unbearable pain. I was in the chair at 2:07 and got off the chair at 2:26. I shouldn't have been in the chair that long for an eyebrow clean up. My eyebrows are thin and UNEVEN. The lines are rigid. No continuous shape. Towards the end I checked in the mirror and asked her politely to fix the side that needed some more help and immediately told her "never mind" because I was that hesitant to have her go back in on my eyebrows, scared of what she might do to them. I've also never been this angry after getting my eyebrows done & noticing something's done a little different. Call me dramatic, but you just KNOW when something's done poorly. If this employee was/is new please let clients know. Towards the end of the transaction, a survey asked how good the service was and I was too embarrassed to even answer it. I wasn't even going to be polite and give a neutral answer. I just left & thanked them. But it's my fault for not going to my usual spot back in Boston. read more

Great and consistent service every time I visit! I thread my eyebrows. It doesn't matter who threads them all the girls do a great job. They have a reward system. After 10 visits you get a free eyebrow thread (I think?) Their facials are awesome too. Relaxing and your skin will leave feeling supple and revitalized. Make an appointment for facials as they only do them at certain times. read more

This place just opened not too long ago and I LOVE IT!!!! It is in a great location and parking was easy. The threader (didn't catch her name) is SO sweet and made sure I was okay every step of the way. I have had my eyebrows threaded many times and she is the FIRST person to put on gloves first. The facility is clean and bright, and she was very quick....and accurate! For $7, I will not go anywhere else now. And you don't need an appointment....just walk in. They're inconsistent. I've been here 3 times. The first time the lady threaded my eyebrows beautifully. The 2nd time one was thinner then the other, and the third time my eyebrows were threaded too thin and too far apart.... I even told the woman that I liked them very thick. And she said "ok". I went in today and was very pleased with the result. I have difficult to shape eyebrows as one grows differently than the other. If you can do my eyebrows...you can do set of brows. When Binda was done both eyebrows looked symmetrical. Usually after an eyebrow threading I'm ancy to go home and pluck a few hairs here and there to get the look I really want. But they look perfect, no extra tweezing needed. This is one of the best eyebrow threading I have received. Very clean and shapely. I will be coming back and I would recommend Binda. read more

Will not go again. I am not basing my review on just 1 visit, been there 3 -4 times already hoping this time will be better than last time. Went to get my eyebrows threaded on a Friday afternoon, when I walked in a woman came out from the back and asked if I could wait 20 minutes so that she could eat her lunch. The quality of this salon is not consistent. The first time I visited GBS I was very pleased with the result, but not the experience. The technician "politely" scolded me, saying that my eyebrows were terrible, and asked me if I wanted my mustache threaded as well. I am nowhere near menopause and don't have heavy lip hairs. The next time I went in, I asked her to please leave them thick. I ended up with very thin eyebrows. This time she left one of my eyebrows crooked and shorter than the other. This place is great. It's clean and well organized, as opposed to some of the threading salons I have been to. The lady who was assisting me did a great job, she actually put on gloves, was really fast and gave a beautiful shape to my eyebrows, and she waxed my upper lip and then actually went over with the thread to make sure it was completely clean. The prices are pretty fair, and the customer service seems to be great compared to other former places I went to. I will definitely go back! read more
