The facial left my skin as soft as a baby's bottom The beds are heated & infused with essential oils, the room has a wonderful ambiance with the twinkle lights and lavender, and my hour with Simone is one I look forward to every two weeks. And the price and quality of lashes are the cherry on top. Her prices are so reasonable!! I've had multiple people compliment me on my lashes when I go places. I can't recommend Simone enough!

The Green Lotus Salon is nothing less than a 5-star experience. (And being Eco-Friendly is a huge…read moreplus). From the moment I spoke with the receptionist on the phone, until the moment I left, I was completely satisfied. As a resident of Cromwell, I've driven by Green Lotus many times, but today was the first time I decided to give it a try, and it was a great choice! I called Green Lotus late in the afternoon inquiring about an appointment for facial waxing either tonight or tomorrow night - and surprisingly, they were able to fit me in tonight. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile from Monica, and she offered to hang up my coat and get me a drink. My appointment with Vanessa went very well - she introduced herself with a handshake and conversed with me throughout the appointment. I have some skin sensitivities and allergies, and Vanessa discussed these with me prior to my appointment and added them to my record. It even printed that I had an allergy on my receipt - so I'm very pleased to know they take that matter seriously! She really took her time and didn't rush through the service. If I were to describe both employees I dealt with, I'd say: Processional & Friendly. They both deserve a ton of credit for their great customer service - something that seems rare these days. The salon is very clean and the waxing room had soft, relaxing music in the background and a soothing fountain. I thought the price was reasonable and ended up booking a future appointment. If you want to get amazing service from a wonderful group of employees, check out Green Lotus Salon!

I should have called but everything happened so quickly that I honestly was not thinking about the days appointments. I was unable to pick up my phone when they called but when I realized what had happened I called right back from the hospital. They do not answer their phone so I left a message and sent an email explaining what happened, I received no response and they charged me $185.00 for missing the appt. My message stated that I understood I would need to pay a cancellation fee and asked if under the circumstances if they could refund part of the $185.00 Well as I said there was no response. I would have been a very good client for these people as I would have utilized a number of their services on an ongoing basis. I did make a mistake but I think this is a very bad way to do business and a terrible way to take advantage of someone. Sometimes things just happen!

I walk out feeling confident, refreshed, and excited about my hair--something that doesn't happen easily! I trust her completely and won't go anywhere else. In fact I took that to heart so much that Dancing Shears did the hair and makeup for my two wedding ceremonies. (Including traveling out of state for one of them). Elana, the owner, created a package that met my needs and budget. Her and the team went above and beyond on my wedding day and second wedding ceremony. We did a comprehensive trial to make sure that I looked and felt beautiful. She even gave me the best pep talks before both wedding ceremonies to make sure I could get out there. Not only does she do a great job with hair and makeup, she also cares deeply about each customer she works with. This includes listening and asking about life updates while in the chair doing hair, giving me educational information on how to take care of my hair and skin, and even product recommendations. I've never taken care of my hair so well until going here with Dancing Shears. Using products without harmful chemicals is also an absolute key part of going here as well (I'll admit I didn't know how much bad stuff was in the shampoos i was using before learning how to take better care of my hair). This business is LGBTQ+ ally friendly and Elana is supportive of every customer. Absolutely recommend coming here for your usual hair needs and your special occasions! I'll pick Dancing Shears over and over again
