Well in NYC all of the good silk pressed salons and hair stylists have all of these appointment requirements and it really felt so good to see this salon state that they accept walk-ins and just to call prior to coming in. Well, let's just say this was the best hair treatment that I have received in a very long time well 5 years to be exact. I went natural and this was my very first silk press and yes I got the works done. Let's just start with the amazing customer service I received when I just walked in and then the ambiance was just as amazing a the service. My stylist was Jonyece and she was very professional and she made sure that I was aware of all of my services and she definitely had the hands of magic because my natural hair came out so beautiful. The services I received was a black color, treatment, trim, wash and blow. Happy to say I now have a go to salon in Georgia. I would definitely recommend this salon to any of my natural yelpers out there looking for a natural salon where they can get an amazing silk press.

Nonetheless, my point is...I walked in for a "Blow & Go with a trim", I had been growing out my "baby bob" for 2 months. My hair was almost shoulder length and doing well, i just needed a little "dusting" of my ends. Walked out with an AWFUL MUSHROOM with layers cut in the back, no blending on the sides...I mean totally messed up a 2 year process of hair growth. Not to mention the "hostess" washed my hair and brushed it wet? I've been told this is a "no-no" in Haircare. Stylist didn't even clean the combs between clients, dropped the comb on the floor and just picked it up and continued to use it. DO NOT TRUST THEM AS I DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE AT THE FACILITY FIR LICENSED!!!! BTW...I leave for a trip today and couldn't even sleep last night, that's how jacked-up my head looks! I had to pay a $100 non-refundable deposit then 412.00 for the balance with the credit card service fee included. Just to receive a different hairstyle that I don't know what it is. I was told after I sat for 6 1/2 hours that Tee didn't have the glue to give me butterfly locs because the glue wouldn't open. Now she never mentioned in the beginning I couldn't get the hairstyle I was paying for without glue. If I am paying $500, which we established at the beginning why would you give me a different hairstyle instead of asking me to wait at the salon while she go get another bottle of glue. The old me would not have paid for this and it would have been a huge issue however she prayed before she did my hair just to be dishonest. Then when Tee found out I was dissatisfied she got loud and defensive and asked me if I wanted to wait for her to get glue to fix my hair. Who would do that after they sat for 6 1/2 hours on the same day when that is what you should have done initially. On top of that my coupon was not honored, which I had just received after I booked my online appointment, a week ago. I was told it just expired however you are the owner so you could have honored it. Since, I even allowed her to keep the hair I didn't use because I always brought my own hair. Everyone told me she was over charging me! I'm from Detroit, the Mega of hair so I knew her work and prices were not right but I thought I was helping a fellow Christian. Why those that seem the most spiritual are the most dishonest people? I will not be back because I previously overlooked some of her sloppy work which another time I was charged $700 and I never received the receipt for the other time of being charged around $615 or more, which are outlandish prices, for butterfly locs. For these prices I can go anyway!
