My girlfriend has used Danay for a number of years and recommended her when I asked for her hair stylist's info. I was one of those who purchased a Groupon. I traveled over 15 miles for my appointment. No one was there. Another stylist at the location reached out for me and contacted the person who said they had no record of my appointment. Ok, so I booked an appointment again. No one was there again. I was told there was a death in the family and that's why they didn't show. Didn't try a third time. Chalked it up to bad business and lesson learned. read more

Very unprofessional! I called to schedule a hair appointment and she referred to the website to schedule. I scheduled the appointment for the service I was interested in, and paid the required deposit. I subsequently received an email cancellation informing that the hair service (silk press/trim) could not be scheduled on a weekend. This is the most nonsensical thing I have ever heard of and reflects poorly on this business. Customer Service should go hand in hand with expertise. You can't claim to master one and ignore the other. What a way to kill your business in early 2025! read more

After traveling a long distance and paying a mandatory $15 deposit, I was told I could not have any services, simply because I chose not to have other parts of the service. So, I'm out $15. Gone are the days when the customer is right and has the right to choose which service they prefer or not prefer. Very disappointed!! read more

Danay slays i used to live In the area but moved away. Can not find any that compares to the level of service she provides. So now I drive about 2 hours to see her for my appointment. She focuses on healthy hair. She provides guidance on maintaining healthy hair. She is also a very sweet person with a very strong work ethic. I respect her business game it is strong. Does does an outstanding job with natural hair. She will have you walking out looking like you have a relaxer She does an amazing job with color. I will share a pic below. This stylist is so unprofessional, do not waste your time. I made an appointment and they tell me I have to wait an hour. They move locations and doesn't call her customers with appointments, ahead of time. And when I get there both of the stylist gave me an attitude like, either "Wait or Leave." When I told her I would give her a bad review, she stated "I don't care!!! Leave!!!" Very rude service She didn't send the NEW ADDRESS email until after my appointment was canceled. *** Recent update, she had one of her customers named Star claim to be the one that was in the chair when I visited the shop, and then the customer sends me a private message on Yelp threatening me. *** So, if you want this sort of drama, this is the right hair salon for you.*** read more

So unprofessional. Would not recommend. I booked an appointment online for 2pm walked in at 1:50pm and saw 3 people sitting in front of me. I asked Danay if my appointment would start at 2pm she said "no we are really busy today it'll probably be 2-3 hours." Mind you on the website it states that it is a 45 min service and that is NOT true. I walked out! The time frame she stated in the salon, for a silk press, should not be that long! People's TIME is precious, and if a client booked for a certain time you should honor that and not double book clients! 0 stars read more

My daughter and I inadvertently became regulars here a few months ago. I stumbled across this salon on a discount website and planned on a one time visit to have my daughters hair treated. I was so impressed with the stylist's/owner's work that I decided to give her a try for my own hair care concerns. Needless to say she did an AMAZING job! Both myself and my daughter look forward to our visits to Bella Xpress salon. Danay (the stylist) has a beautiful personality, and makes us both feel very comfortable. The booking process is simple, and super convenient, the services offered are extensive, and the prices are GREAT! Quality hair care at an affordable price is so hard to come by in this day and age, I'm so grateful to have found a business where I can have the best of both worlds. Pros: Owner is very quick, nice, has great prices, focuses on healthy hair, uses low heat, press results on natural hair stayed straight for over a week Cons: None I'm so happy I found this salon because my reason for not going to salons with my natural hair was the risk of heat damage. I have been going to Danay for around 5 years or so. She is a great stylist with affordable prices! That is hard to come by these days. Her services are quick and there is hardly ever any wait time. She uses the online booking service StyleSeat, which in my opinion, eliminates overbooking. Her timing of the services are pretty accurate on the site. I love that she makes my typically lifeless hair so beautiful, full of life, and bouncy. I wish she could style it everyday LOL In Nov of 2014, I finally let go my fears of coloring my hair and had her color my hair. Now I'm addicted to having my hair colored. LOL. I get soooo many compliments. I usually let her do her thing with the color and have yet to be disappointed. From Day 1, Danay has been professional, courteous, and amazing with taking care of my hair. Oh and she has an awesome loyalty system: every visit, you get a stamp and each 5th visit, you get 50% off!! This is on top of already affordable/very reasonable prices. What a perk!! I made an appointment online, since it wasn't specifically written of what "misc" is, she supposedly couldn't even do a trim since I didn't book for the trim. For going to be a first time customer and getting hung up on and on top of that them taking away your reservation, and not explain anything correctly on the website, and saying they call but didn't leave no voicemail.
