Every table around us was asked if they wanted more bread or water, how their meals were, etc. We ordered a $50 bottle of wine (which ended up being a mini bottle), Risotto and Shrimp dish for our first courses and it was very tasty. For my entree I ordered the lobster linguini (no meat in the lobster shell, noodles were over cooked and sauce was not good) and my husband ordered the Scampi, Prawn and Lobster (he was not impressed). The service just really made us lose our appetite. We felt like the wait staff stuck their nose up to us for some reason, and felt ignored - yet we were seated in the center among all other guests. Not sure what the issue was, we are American but the other guests were not Italian... We both have worked in the service industry and are very generous tippers (always +20%) and typically ball out with 3+ courses.
