    The view

Food - very good and reasonably priced considered the view! The beef Genovesa (sp?) was superb! All courses are made with a slight twist on the usual so be prepared for a "wow factor". Service - service was a little slow but I will chalk that up to the season and the fact that there were a lot of people inside for lunch. Atmosphere - tough to beat!

It was a lovely lunch. The staff was very attentive and eager to please. Can't beat the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy the Amalfi.

The restaurant is not only visually beautiful but the food is amazing ! Stopped by late after a sail in Amalfi and we're so happy with this restaurant. Cannot say enough about the views and the shear beauty of Ravello. Food was delicious and fresh pasta of course. If visiting Ravello add Salvatore to your stay for a wonderful meal

    Octopus and amazing view

The view was breathtaking and the service was very attentive. I had the octopus which was different but great

I'll start by saying this place is on the pricier side. However your paying for the high quality ingredients and the amazing view! We've returned here twice already and every time the food is outstanding. As well as super attentive and friendly staff. I had pasta both times, and both times I was blown away with the flavors. My fiancé had the beef slow cooked and fish the day before and he was shocked by how perfectly cooked it was. Let the photos speak for themselves. My fiancé says the lemoncello spritz is to die for as well he ordered it both days

We went for the view but it was the lunch that has stuck in memory, simply incredible. I ordered the pasta special, which I understood had braised beef but did not fully know what I was ordering. It was great. Rolled pasta with ricotta cheese foam, almost like a deconstructed ravioli, and incredibly flavorful beef. A sublime meal. The views of the Amalfi Coast were almost as good as the meal, wish it never ended.

    Rabbit zeppoles

I'm so glad that we did not miss this restaurant! I was worried that it would be too touristy, but the chef here is innovative and amazing. We speak a small amount of Italian so I was happy to be able to use it here with the wait staff. They were super attentive and courteous and helped to make the experience enjoyable. Prices were slightly less than New York City, so that was not an issue for me. To me, the food merits the cost. Be aware that this restaurant has a cover of 3 euro per person. We were presented with three amuse bouches which were all delicious. We decided to share the rabbit zeppoles as an aperitivo, which turned out to be an excellent choice. For the main course, I had two dishes in one (from the specials menu): spaghetti squash with pickled onions and veal tartare, finished with cooked pork and onions. It was fantastic. I also tasted the dish my husband ordered - I can't remember what it was called but it had several components to it that bordered on alti cibi - high food art. He commented on how filling it was. Bottle prices were also decent for the Amalfi coast, so no complaints there. They also had a diverse digestivo selection. For dessert, we shared their innovative take on tiramisù. I highly recommend sitting outside on the covered patio. It was raining and it was no problem. I would absolutely return - and, if you weren't sure, do visit this unique restaurant!

    Rolled lamb!

Out of more than 20 nice restaurants we ate at on our 17-day Italy vacation between Rome, Florence, Venice, and the Amalfi Coast, this was my top choice. Absolutely delicious food, very friendly and professional service, and stunning view. Our driver for the day recommended it but we had trouble finding with the GPS direction which usually fails in towns like Positano and Ravello (layers in a vertical town rather than flat cross streets). We asked a lady in a pharmacy nearby and she pointed out easy direction and said "Salvatore is a Master Chef", and she wasn't wrong. We had a great lunch in the main restaurant but they also have a pizzeria. The place was empty around noon but started filling up quickly. I ordered the rolled lamb, my wife ordered the sea bass and my daughter ordered the pasta. Yum yum yum, everything melts in your mouth. I'm amazed someone below compared it to Taco Bell, WTF?

Spectacular view and a great lunch with a really nice wait staff! Surprisingly creative dishes that we weren't expecting. We had a great lunch that was the standout of our time in Campania. Also, they have a parrot.

The "pizzeria" downstairs was more reasonably price along with quick service, good pizza, and great portions!

With the spectacular view, creative and delicious food, this was a meal to remember! In fact, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had... in Italy or anywhere.

Rossellinis - Pre dinner appetizers on the terrace

Dinner at Rossellinis in the Palazzo Avino Hotel is probably one of the top five meals I have ever…read morehad in my life. We came here for dinner last July with another couple and even though it has been almost a year since we came, I am still thinking about this dinner. When we checked in for our reservation we were led down to the terrace for a glass of bubbly and pre dinner appetizers. While you are enjoying the terrace, they give you the menus and you get to choose from 3 different tasting menus or the option to order a la carte. Our party opted to go the tasting menu route. I am not vegetarian but I don't eat seafood so I often find it easier to go with the vegetarian option which is what I did on this night. After choosing our menu options we were taken to our table overlooking the coast. Every dish that we had from the bread service to the post dessert desserts was absolutely phenomenal. I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite dish because everything was so insanely fresh and flavorful. This is definitely a pricey special occasion restaurant, but it was such an incredible experience in just the most romantic setting possible.

Location exquisite. Unfortunately the service was poor. Our main waitress was kind & attentive,…read morealthough not as knowledgeable as we expected (e.g. she didn't know where the monkfish was caught or when). Two other assistant waiters were good. The sommelier was dismissive at best. We asked for a 2021 bottle of a particular wine. He brought us the 2022 OPENED and we immediately said that we ordered the 2021. He looked surprised and then came back with the 2021. It was strange. How does the sommelier of a Michelin star restaurant confuse the two? He admitted to us later (after asking us how we knew to choose the 2021) that the 2022 was not yet ready. The portions were beyond tiny. I didn't finish all 6 of my courses but my husband did and he was still hungry. The wine by glass was silly expensive ($40 per stem) but we really wanted red with our lamb which was final course. At one point near the end of the meal the manager walked by and as he KEPT WALKING he asked if everything was good but didn't even stop. Just said it as he was walking by. It was my birthday and we had made reservations in April & my husband told them if was my birthday. They did bring a complimentary glass of bubbly which was nice. But the birthday dessert? Kind of an after thought! The dessert waitress brought a plate with happy birthday written in chocolate and then proceeded to put a few small cookies on the plate. Not even worth taking a picture of. So $800euro later we were completely underwhelmed.
