Gnocchi gluten free

We had a great experience here. It was one of the only restaurants we were able to get into without a reservation. Excellent customer service. Gluten free options include pasta, pizza crust, dessert (lemon cake and tiramisu) and really almost anything on the menu (including fries calamari). I ordered a pizza. Crust was a great soft texture and marinara had more flavor than other pizza places I've been to in Amalfi. Wish they had vegan cheese!! My husband got the gnocchi and fried shrimp and calamari (all gluten free) and enjoyed it!

This was one of our favorite restaurants (one of the few we ate at multiple times during our two weeks in Italy). Broad menu, friendly waiters (grandchildren stopped by both nights to see their grandfather/host) and delicious food. The bruschetta was a perfect start and really we liked everything.

Awesome restaurant, off the beaten path. We ordered the Pasta with clam sauce and Linguine Pesto. Both very delicious, and served served piping hot. Would love to eat here again before heading back home

One of our favorites in Amalfi. Extensive menu, very good food and service. Owner is funny and entertaining too.

Glad I did cause it had options I like. (calamari, french fries, fried mozzarella balls)! (And for travelers, be forewarned. When they say calamari it's full on tentacle and the other pieces. So if you're expecting just circular pieces, don't.) I love each individually and got all in one place! They should put it on the menu permanently. There are a couple stools and tables to sit outside. The ladies serving me were nice and funny. I had to give it 3 stars cause the calamari wasn't very hot and the mozzarella balls were just that, mozzarella balls where they were fried but they weren't hot and the ball didn't melt at all. Only the outside seemed to be cooked perfectly. Besides the fries, which were great, everything else was just kinda luke-warm. All in all it wasn't bad and I'd probably try other ones if I was there. There were 5 other people that were eating there and they all seemed to really love what they were having! It's kinda off the beaten path (you have to take the path to Piazza dei Dogi to get to it). There is another place in Piazza Duomo that people went to but I don't recall seeing as many options.

Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to them. I ordered the shrimp for €26. I received only six shrimp, heavily battered, with nothing else on the plate. For €26, I expected considerably more in both quality and presentation. We also ordered a €9 salad, which was essentially just tomatoes. My wife's food was better, but overall we felt the food was significantly overpriced for what we received. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. Our server took our order and essentially never attended to our table again. He walked past us several times without checking on us. We asked another server for water; he said he would bring it but never returned. Eventually, we had to get the attention of a third person just to get some water. The restaurant was very busy, and I understand that can affect service, but being busy shouldn't mean customers are virtually ignored throughout their meal. Beautiful setting and atmosphere, but based on our experience, poor service and very poor value for the money. With such high ratings, we expected much better. Unfortunately, this felt much more like a tourist-priced restaurant than the authentic dining experience we were hoping for.
