This place is just bad. I was in Napa for a work conference and I had some spare time so I went to get my nails done. I was in a hurry and just googled nail places in the area and this one came up. I wish I would've seen the bad reviews because I would've saved myself $70. My gosh. I am not sure that ANY of these people are truly licensed. I got a gel manicure and it chipped THAT night as I was doing my makeup, just a few hours after leaving the salon. By the next morning more of my nails were chipping. My pedicure was horrific. The guy who did it was nice enough but my polish is absolutely terrible. Once I got back to my hotel I looked at my toes and literally laughed. It looks like a child did it- I took a photo and included it here. There was also a screaming child who belonged to one of the employees. Incredibly unprofessional. One of the worst experiences of my life!! I had a hard time communicating with the workers, the man who did my nails was watching porn while doing my nails. They extremely overcharged me and pretend to not understand English when I showed them the menu prices. It was 150$ for one acrylic and two friends basic paint with no manicure. I will never come here again. Overpriced and they did a terrible job on my nails. I went in for a gel manicure and the sides aren't painted and they didn't clean up the polish around my nails. To me it seemed like they were more focused on getting though as many customers as they could instead of putting quality and time into their work. People already sitting at a station waiting to get their nails done were leaving because they would pass them up due to other people were walking in. I have never left a bad review on any business (even with some horrible experiences) so this should tell you how BAD this place is. First of all one of the girls there seems to take her anger & aggression out on her clients hands. I have left multiple times with cuts around & under my cuticles from the lady digging her finger nails into my skin!!! I am 23 I have a high pain tolerance but i have gone home crying because of how badly EVERY single one of my nails hurt. Even days later they still hurt!! I've given them multiple chances and every time I go home in excruciating pain. Secondly i'd like to add that i've seen the male worker sneeze into his hands multiple times, never wash or sanitize them, and proceeded to work on clients. Multiple times! Could not be more disappointed in the service I received today. I came in for a polish change and Kathy put my nails to soak in remover because I had glitter. They soaked twice and then she took it off...still leaving glitter here and there . After leaving i noticed the Polish was lumpy and flat, pieces of cotton under my nails, my nails we're warped and bending! I called to ask if I could come in tomorrow and get them removed and get a full set and she would agree to take off the $10 I paid (can you believe I actually tipped this lady too). AVOID this place! Liars, liars, liars! I went in on Friday May 3rd for a "shellac" manicure. I received a "gel" manicure that I was assured would be the same, my nails are chipping! The guy that did my nails used different products that could be the problem?! I picked out an OPI color. The base and top coat he used weren't OPI. Second lie we don't double dip wax sticks: I needed my brows cleaned up.I specifically asked him if they double dipped the wax stick? He said no they don't that because it's unsanitary. After my manicure was completed I walked back to their wax room and to my horror the woman DID double dip the wax stick. I was horrified and disgusted!! I very clearly told her that you're not supposed to double dip!!! In her broken English she said it was "okay that's how we learn at school" also claimed that the "wax is so hot it kills bacteria" what a load of shit!! If the wax was to be that hot that it would kill bacteria it would be way too hot to be placed on the skin! Don't let the pretty decor fool you!!! read more

Went here because I had received a gift certificate. Had a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. The young gal that did my manicure was so rough she dug way too hard on one of my nails when she was removing the old gel (the acetone was not left on long enough at all). I have a horrible bruise in the middle of my nail. I could not relax the rest of the time. I felt super rushed and they weren't even that busy. The pedicure was good but I couldn't fully enjoy it because I was nervous that the manicurist was going to stab me again. When she filed them at the end she was really rough too. No thank you. Very disappointed and will not be going back to Bella nails. I had an appointment for 12:30 and wasn't seen until closer to 1. They sat me down and I had to wait close to 10 minutes until someone came and helped me. Not only did I have to wait a while, I also asked for the dip acrylic nails and lady helping me didn't know how to do it. I ended up having to wait even longer for someone else to step in and basically fix the mess that was created. They supposedly fixed the issue and I was on my way out of the salon at around 3. I left the salon and looked at my nails and noticed I have white spots all over the dip acrylic. I would've gone back and complained but I was already late for my appointment. I do not reconnect this place. Only giving them one star because I have to. read more

When I first arrived I was pleasantly surprised & excited to be spoiled for the next hour enjoying my manicure & pedicure. The salon is very nicely decorated. The best part of the whole experience was the chair. From almost being scorched by the hot water, cut with the tools to the most impersonal experience. I don't like writing bad review really I don't but I am never going back to Bella. Only one of 5 people we dealt with was nice and I was given one price and then charged $20 more, plus the signature pedicure to me was what I've gotten at other nail salons for regular price and I was pretty much scolded for wanting my nails trimmed. I picked colors for my nails and again was told they weren't summer colors. My nails were filed uneven and rough on the edges. I really wish it would have been better the massage chairs were amazing but that's the only plus. :( read more

Charles is by far one of the best nail techs I've ever gone too! Not only is he extremely personable and makes the entire experience even better because he carries conversations with me he is also amazing at acrylics! For one, his nails last much longer than other acrylics I've had done, the shaping is by far amazing! I absolutely hate the thicker looking acrylics, making your nails look fake-- the way he shapes them make me feel like they're my natural nails. Aside from that, when I show Charles a color he or an idea I may have he always finds a way to add a little bit of sparkle and making them so cute, without being overly flashy! The ambience I'm Bella itself is beautiful and very clean. I love the decor, it is so inviting! All the staff are so sweet, whether you're getting a mani or pedi or acrylics you will be treated to wonderful service! I highly suggest taking a trip into Bella :) read more

Really disappointed with the service that was provided. Went in for a manicure, to relax and unwind and just ended up being upset with the service. My $35 manicure took a total of 30 minutes. No time was spent cleaning up my cuticles. I sat down, nails were filed ever so slightly and she began coloring them. She applied 5 coats of nail polish and left my nails looking thick and uneven. Nail tech needed to blow her nose, so I had to refused the hand massage after she wiped her nose with her hands and didn't care to wash them. She honestly didn't care much about making sure I received good service. I was just glad to see that the little girl next to me was at least getting a better manicure. I guess its a hit and miss with which technician you end up getting, but needless to say I am not going back. read more

Easy parking and close to my home so i thought it was a good choice to try out for the first time. It must have been close to closing time, It felt as if she rushed my pedicure. It was very mechanical and non-personal experience. I think it took only 15 min? Not relaxing at all. No communication and I was asked how I was paying before I was finished. I will say that It was clean and modern, the chairs were comfortable, but I would have like to enjoyed it more. Paid $25 plus tip which seems like a lot for only a short time to enjoy. This is a pretty nice and relaxing salon with a bad service. I've tried to give them a couple chances after a bad experience where me and my friend got a pedi and mani and where they make her fingers bleed. I've been there twice after my bad experience and every time I go they remind me why I said I was never going back. Last time I was there it took them 2 hours for a pedi and the worst part was that they were not busy at all probably had at most 4 people. When it was finally my turn they seat me and make me soak my feet in water for at least another 20min. I always feel pushed to leave a big tip, don't get me wrong I like to tip for the service but I don't like when people are almost harassing me. They always do a bad job with acrylics, it's always they leave them too thick or to long or the don't take the time you need to get them done good. read more

I just have to say that Nancy has been doing my nails for almost 3 years, She worked at LaVie Nail salon in the Bel Air Plaza I went in one day and she was gone, I asked where she was I was told she was on vacation. When I went back to get my nails done again I called to see if she was back yet And I was told no but they were very secretive about it which really bothered me. I remember telling her one day where I worked And she showed up and told me where she was at I was never so happy To have her do my nails again, So I'm just letting people that had Nancy doing their nails at LaVie She is now at Bella Nail Spa! I should have taken the advise of Yelp and encouraged the Bride to look elsewhere for a nail salon. We had an appointment for a Saturday morning for about 7 girls to get their mani/pedis for a wedding. After reading the Yelp reviews, the Bride and another bridal party member called the salon a week before the appointment and the day before the appointment to confirm, and were told both times that they were confirmed and ready for our party. WRONG! We showed up that Saturday morning and there was one woman there. We told her that we had an appointment for 7 mani/pedis and she looked like we had three heads and had no idea to expect us. She had to go in the back and make phone calls to call more manicurists into the salon. When all said and done, they still only had 3 people to serve our party so we had to take turns when we originally all wanted to be done together. Additionally, this place is one of the worst in terms of cleanliness that I've been to. Sure, they have plastic covers to protect their pedicure wash basins but they can't protect their own customers because they use non-sterilized tools! My lady pulled tools out of a basket that god knows had been used on however many people! I was totally grossed out but didn't want to make a scene and ruin the Bride's morning. My gel manicure lasted less than a week when I had two nails that began completely chipping. They did no polish clean up around the cutical, so of course the polish didn't get a firm stick the the nail and no wonder it chipped. i had blue polish on my toes before coming in and the failed to remove all of the polish so that when they applied the light pink toe polish, you could still see blue polish coming through on the corners of my toes. Thanks heavens I don't live in Napa, because I would NEVER come back to this salon. Shame on them for running such a careless business. read more

First of all the only reason why I'm giving 3 stars is because my nails REALLY DO look good....other than that I ended up with a cuticle infection and my index cuticle is swollen. Everyone that works here is very nice and its very clean but the lady that did my nails was very rough and filed so roughly that the filer cut me. Another thing that I'm kinda worried about is the lady that did my nails had in ingrown finger nail that looked infected and was a rising nail. I didn't notice it until the end of my manicure, if I would of noticed it at the beginning I would of asked to have someone else do my nails. Also its not Shellac its Gel.... I don't understand why they would promote Shellac if they don't even have the CND polish. read more
