Soon after leaving a job that didn't allow me to have my nails done, I was on the search for a nail salon. After trying out a few places, I landed on this one (back then, it was called N'Ovations). After reading reviews, I made an appointment with Dawn and I've been going to her since 2011. Dawn is amazing with attention to detail, she is such a perfectionist and always listens to my requests. She's the one that suggested "Cal Gel" which is a Japanese gel. She puts a small layer on my natural nails and it helps my nails grow and strengthen. It's not like any other gel and it is not common in Napa. Only a few know how to apply it accurately. I was recommended to this salon for my wedding. First she passed me on to an unexperienced stylist. When she arrived she was kind but unprofessional. Said she had practiced my hairstyle that I sent to her ALL week. It was clearly her first time doing the hairstyle. It was a rats nest. I had to redo it myself. I was very disappointed. She didn't seem to care the day of. Now I can't get a word back from her or the salon. Too bad people feel that conducting poor business is acceptable. The best part of this salon are the stylists who work here. The owner has been a stylist for many years and took a family of fellow stylists with her to start a place of her own. I've gotten everything from highlights, up do's, lowlights, to corrective repair after a bad bleaching incident with this group of professionals. Amber is my hair guru but Crystal has done my up do for a formal Halloween party as well when Amber was away for a wedding. Everyone has a strong work ethic and commitment to the craft. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. (Note: each stylist has hours which vary but they are usually willing to work early or late to accommodate their clients. I was in dire need of a fix back in October so I asked some family members and they recommended Holli to me. I came to her with a cut that was so uneven with big blunt chunks of layers and big chunks of short bangs that a lady had done. I had only asked for 2 inches off with long layers in front to frame my face. I wanted to keep my hair long but she ended up cutting 4-5 off!! Holli came and delivered! I had been hearing about Anna Marie's spray tans and been wanting to try it out.. Absolutely perfect color! She took the time to analyze my skin and talk to me about what she feels would look best and most natural on me. The tan lasted for two weeks and the fade off was not even noticeable. Honestly, I have never felt so welcome walking into a new salon for the the first time. And I have never had anyone be more patient and caring with my nails. Sovanny (nail tech) did such an amazing job on my nails. (I got gel). She listened to exactly what I had in mind & did an excellent job! She was actively suggesting tips to help me increase nail strength or to make my color choice really pop. She was very personable & enthusiastic. I have found my new nail place. And the price is great for the work that was done. Most places I can escape trying to convince myself that the tech did "okay" job that cost $35 including a tip, yesterday I left this new salon extremely satisfied and pleasantly surprised for $43 including a tip. I bought a Groupon for a hair cut and a color with Anna Marie. I was really excited to try a new place with a new hair stylist who happened to have great reviews on Yelp, Groupon and Facebook. However, I am SO disappointed with the service that now I feel entitled to write this bad review. Upon purchasing my Groupon, I tried calling Anna Marie to schedule an apt. First attempt, no answer so I left a voicemail. A week later, still no reply. Second attempt, again, no answer. So this time, I figured I would try calling the Salon directly. I spoke to a very nice lady and she told me she would leave a message for Anna to call me. A few mins later, I got a call from the Salon (a different lady this time) stating that Anna had broken her phone and lost all of her contacts and that she probably didn't recognize my number which is possibly why she didn't respond to me. (First of all, I am sure Anna gets a handful of calls that she doesn't recognize, on the daily, as she advertises her services with her number listed on Groupon and on Facebook). Anyway, the lady then suggested I text Anna Marie and state my name and let her know I am interested in making an apt. Fine. So I did. No response. A few days later, I resent the text. Still no response! At this point, I am already aggravated and annoyed that I haven't heard back, so now, I not only lose out on a nice hair style, but I lose out on my money. For anyone who thinks about getting a Groupon, beware! read more

I know how much of a pain it is to have someone call a couple of hours before closing wanting a cut and style but these guys delivered. Megan was professional and conversational. I had originally made an appointment with another stylist to have more done for the following week but I appreciated her professionalism and amiability that I decided to have her do my hair. Crystal has been my hair stylist for over 10 years and she is the only one I trust with my hair. I am so glad she finally opened up her own salon! When I got married this past May there wasn't even a question in my mind as to who would do my hair and makeup. I made an appointment with Nikole Frey. She is amazing at what she does. Not only is she beautiful herself but she is an amazing hair Stylist. She Knows what she is doing and makes you look and feel amazing. I walked into work today and everyone that I walked by loved my hair. I even had a few people come back to me just to tell me that my hair looks amazing. I think I sold some people on going to her from now on. I went in and told her that she can do anything she wants to my hair that she would think look good on me. She Sure did that. So if you are thinking to get your hair done I would Say go to Nikole.
