About a year ago, I tried the same service at another spa--the tint was okay, but there was basically no lift at all. I started thinking there was something wrong with my lashes since they're so straight and fine. I decided to give it one more try and asked Grok for a recommendation, which led me to Pure Skin Spa. Michelle was incredibly sweet, professional, and right on time. The spa itself is very clean and has such a relaxing atmosphere. She only did the tint (which turned out great), but the lift actually took beautifully! I was shocked--in the best way--because I really thought my lashes just wouldn't hold a curl. I'm definitely coming back to see Michelle again and can't wait to try some of her other services. Two thumbs up!"

Today was the first time where I've ever said "ouch", and I wax frequently and often. I literally said "ouch" out loud several times, and my wax specialist never acknowledged my pain or apologized, just kept yanking! She also never gave me a heads up before she was going to pull the strip, which other specialists always do. She really did not seem to want to be there, and was extremely dismissive. I've made note of her name, and will not return to her as a waxer. Again, I usually have a great experience, with waxers, such as Hailie, but the negative experience I had today weighs my overall rating to a 3.

It had such a calm, soothing atmosphere that immediately made me feel comfortable. I booked my very first lower leg sugaring appointment with Michelle, and she was absolutely amazing! She was so welcoming, kind, and incredibly detail-oriented. Before we even started, she took the time to explain everything about the sugaring process, what to expect, and answered all of my questions. After the appointment, she also went over all of the aftercare instructions, which I really appreciated. Michelle was also just so easy and fun to talk to! She was funny, sweet, and made the entire appointment fly by. I was honestly surprised by how much less painful it was than waxing, threading, or even tweezing - it was way more comfortable than I expected. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better first experience! I'm already looking forward to going back and continuing my appointments with Michelle. If you've been wondering whether to try sugaring or are looking for a great place to go, I highly recommend Sugar + Lemon. You won't be disappointed!

Linda saved my lashes!…read more I've been to Linda before after buying a deal on Groupon. I already knew that she did an amazing job, but being the bargain hunter that I am, the next time I decided to get my lashes done, I went for a deal at a spa in Sonoma. 2 1/2 hours later, my lashes still looked pretty bare. Desperate to get my time and money's worth, I texted Linda a picture of my lashes and asked her if she would be able to fill them for me. She was professional and kind and she got me in within a couple of days. In less than an hour, she not only removed the lashes that were barely hanging on, but filled them in, making them look feminine and elegant, just as I was hoping for. On top of everything her price was fair. Lesson learned: A low price DOES NOT always equal a good deal.

I called the company and told them that a friend of mine made the same-day appointment and I was to call and let them know what services I wanted. I did not see any service that I would like to have because they did not have what I wanted and I told them I wanted to cancel. They said I could not cancel because the appointment was made today and their policy is that they could not cancel. I explained to the lady that a friend of mine just made the appointment not even 20 minutes ago and I do not care to go. They informed me that they would charge her card anyway so I went there so my friend would not get charged. They charged $35 for me to put my foot in a bucket of water for 15 minutes. I am not happy with this place nor the policy and I will never be back here. I asked a worker is this all the service she said yes I put my foot in the water for 6 minutes and left. This is a reply to the answer that they wrote on me, I was not late. They asked me to come in 15 minutes early so I could check out with my other friends who had the nerve to stay there. They were very rude and nasty and was upset because I am telling the truth. I would not recommend this place to a dog! Horrible

They're appointment-only, which I loved because it meant my time didn't feel rushed at all (unlike other salons I've been to). It truly felt like protected, one-on-one service. After removing my Gel X, Kim recommended I not do builder gel YET and instead use a strengthening treatment for a few weeks. She didn't push a service just to make money, which says a lot.
