I moved to the area 2 years ago. I tried half a dozen places and was never happy so I kept driving back to Dallas. I have long natural nails and get dip. Everyone was trying to charge extra for length, then shape, and they were not soaking and prepping my nails correctly so causing damage. I know most people don't have nails or use tips but I love my nails. Finally a place at Bella Nails who does an amazing job and protects my nails. Olivia the manager is great. When I came here for the first time, i had a great experience getting a new acryllic nail set. The nails looked fabulous and the cost for long acrylics + 2 colors was 55$. I came for a second time since i loved my nails the 1st time for another full acryllic set. I had a different nail tech and this time i got short nails with 2 colors was 65$ and they were done sooooo SLOPPY. Every nail is crooked and uneven & the paint started chipping in 1 day. I don't even believe one star would be okay. Not a great experience at all. None of my nails are straight or square. I had to buy a file on my way home to fix them. He was trying to tell me what length he thought I should have and when I asked for a little bit shorter he cut them all the way down. I will never be back and also I will never recommend anyone here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I went in for a mani/ pedicure and unfortunately come across an aggressive man named David. He treated me poorly. Every time I would move my foot, he would be aggressive and snatch my foot back. He also had a tight grip on my ankle as well. I stated to him multiple times to stop being aggressive with me. He seemed to be very angry which made me very uncomfortable. So much so that I no longer wanted to get a manicure there. I work hard for my money and the last thing that I want to do is give it away to someone who is going to be aggressive towards me. Bella's will never get another dime from me. There are too many other nail shops to choose from to settle for this type of treatment anyway. read more

The service definitely depends on who does your nails for you. I'd been once and it was great! The lady that did my nails was so so kind. Another time, I'd asked for powder dip/nexgen nails, but the lady who did my nails asked me if I'd like gel nails instead. I said "oh, no, I'm wanting to do the powder dip please." She told me that I needed to get gel nails. I protested again, asking her politely for the color I wanted. She started doing my nails with gel polish and was extremely aggressive the entire time. I understand that having your nails done is sometimes painful, but her movements were so harsh that it was clear she was intentionally being rough. read more

This is one of the best nail spa salons I have been to! It is absolutely GORGEOUS!! The workers here are so nice and friendly! I came here on a Friday around 3 pm to get a mani/pedi/brow wax and there were about 7 clients getting their manis/pedis. It seemed like most of their clients were regulars and that to me is a good sign! I guess I came a day too late because they offer 20% off on manis & pedis over $25. Monday through Thursday which isn't like most other places that only offer "student discounts". Holly did an amazing job on everything! They also offer complimentary red & white wine and other refreshments to quench your thirst. If you are in the area and need to get your nails done or any other nail salon services, please do yourself a favor and come try this place out! You won't regret it! :) P.S. I was reading all the previous negative reviews and just wanted to let everyone know they've had a new owner since march 2012. I absolutely loved the attention and Service here. My nail lady was Michelle and she is amazing with good customer service skills as well as her profession with nails. Her and two other ladies stayed after hours to finish w my nails and did a great job with whatever i was requesting according to the picture I showed them. My takeaway here is for the most part, that they were willing to still work on me even after they were closed and had family to go to afterwards. Michelle's husband kept calling and she said to me: don't worry you are my priority right now. Awesomeness! The price is very reasonable but overall the service and the attention is great in addition to excellent work on nails. I will come here again and get sushi right next door. :-) read more

I wouldn't recommend anyone to get services at Bella Nails. They are rude and have poor customer service. The nail tech Olivia doesn't know how to do nails properly. She doesn't take her time and when I came back 2 weeks later for a fill in I always had broke nails and she left me with nail fungus. I recently had an interview and they turned me away and I went back Friday and another young lady told me they were booked for that day and Saturday, she suggested I go find another nail shop to fix my broken nail, instead of helping me. Bella Nails has gone down hill since, I started going to them about 3 years ago. They change management to much which I feel is a issue. After the treatment I was given, I won't never step foot in there nail shop again. They need to get it together before someone reports them. read more

The lady doing my pedicure did an amazing job, but the guy doing my hands did a horrible job but the worse was this old cracker sipping on wine like it's beer in a hot summer day that started attacking me because I asked for my nails to be fixed. Let me clarify that I was not rude or aggressive with this man. The guy literally took five minutes to do my nails in dipping powder, he skipped steps and was just rushing. The edges were rough and the top coat would had been better applied by my 3 year old daughter. When I asked for someone to come back to fix them, the same man came over to fix them, but that is when the woman starts telling me that I should not be complaining because this people is making pennies. Well, I was there to do my nails not to do charity. He fixed some of the edges but she would not stop. I decided to just pay and leave. But will definitely not go back to this place mainly because of the trashy customers, the ladies doing my pedicure did a fantastic job, and would love for her to do my nails again. Sharon gave me the best pedicure! She is the sweetest lady and took a lot of time and attention to detail which I appreciate. I tried the organic pedicure in tangerine;she even brought out fresh slices of citrus! As always, they have great clean equipment with sterilized tools and foot bath covers. I came here to get a mani pedi because I wouldn't get into my normal place and didn't want to wait until the next day, big mistake... When I first got there, I handed the lady at the front desk my color as she escorted me to my foot spa chair. Most places hand the color to the person that will be doing your pedicure, or will put the bottle on the cart that has all of the supplies needed to do the pedicure. Well, little did I know, she put the bottle on the edge of the small nightstand-like table directly beside the armrest that raises up so that you can sit in the chair. The back of my sweater knocked the bottle on to the floor breaking it as I sat in the chair. Although, this was only one out of hundreds of bottles of polish and I am absolutely certain that I am not the only one that has ever dropped a bottle of nail polish, I still felt horrible about this. I apologize several times and even offered to pay for the bottle of polish that was broken. From that moment on, they had the biggest attitude towards me for the rest of my time there. On the the manicure: I had a picture of what I wanted on my nails. Nothing fancy, just nude pink polish, one silver finger, and a snowflake painted on the ring finger (see pic). I told the manicurist (Jenny) several times that this is what I would like on my nails. We actually referenced the picture about five times while trying to find a nude pink polish that was close to the picture. As we approached the finals coats of gel polish, I reference the picture because I noticed that there all nails were being painted nude pink without the one silver nail. They were getting close to closing time, and Jenny had several phone calls during the final coat of gel polish on my nails, so I could tell she was clearly ready to leave. When I reference the picture, she told me that it was too late to fix it and I had to keep all nails the way that they are. I was very disappointed, because the only reason I wanted the nude pink polish was because I was going for the look in the picture. I went up to pay, and the desk attendant asked if I liked my nails. I told her no, that I was a little disappointed. I wanted a particular design and was told it was too late, even though I referenced the picture several times when I first arrived. She assured me it was not to late, and escorted me back to the manicure station. As you can imagine Jenny was pissed to see me coming back to be told by the manager that she had to give whatever design I asked for. Long story short, she rushed through the design because she was mad. The very next day I had to return to get most of them repainted because the gel was already peeling. Then after paying $100 for pedi and gel-mani (with design), exactly 7 days later I was back to my normal spot across the street (Paris Nails-w/May) because I could no longer allow my nails to look like I had been sliding them up and down a brick wall. (See pics). One last note: Don't pay extra for the longer massage during the pedicure. I swear that just rub oil on your legs for 15 minutes and every now and then slide a rock on them. No "massage" what so ever!! read more

This is my third time coming here and last I am even considering calling my credit card company to get my money back for the poor service. Two of the three times I came I got a pedicure the first time and the regular polish was bad and this last time I got gel polish on my toes it's absolutely hideous and when I told Kim about it she downplayed it and rubbed a ton of oil on my "dry feet" in her words. I asked her to fix them but she said she did not see anything even after showing her. Anyways I get home and it seem to have gotten worse so I go back to the shop and Kim was asked to fix both of my big toes because the polish was really bad it wasn't even painted on the side of one of them. Well she painted them both again really quickly and still one of my big toes is messed up. I don't feel the need to go there a third time so I will just call my bank and get a refund because this is unacceptable. Come on $20 for this it's very sad to say a professional did this I'm not even going to mention my nails but to say the least they tried to rip me off. read more

Will not be going back here. I tried ombre for the first time and left with what looked like pink/white tips. As specifically asked the front desk staff to show me the pricing and she gave the brochure at the front. When it was time to pay she charged me an additional $5 for my nails. We I told her that's not what the brochure said she said oh that's old pricing the correct pricing is online. Well ma'am I asked you for the price list and the brochure sitting on the front counter is what you gave me. So there was a little back and forth about that before she adjusted the price. I will say my nail technician was very nice and patience with me as I decided what I wanted. Just a note to everyone check your bill before paying to make sure nothing "extra" is added. read more

HI all, I had to give an update to this place of business, because of the shocking message I got from the owner of this place today. It's one thing to address a review (which is my free right) But another to say what she said...so here it is...and you guys can make the judgement if you want to do business at this place------And just a side note: I have no idea what she is talking about as far as me being "under-charge", or "not-charge". Because I guess if that was the case, they could have just rung up my credit card again like they did without my permission! Ridiculous! Here is the message I got from the business owner: ------------------------------- Hey Joann, Thanks for the feedback. It'd be awfully nice if you could also mention the two times we didn't charge you. You know the services you're getting and clearly you know the prices. You know what you paid for and what you didn't. Perhaps it's because you don't have a business of your own and don't know what it's like to perform free services. There's always bad and good, but please don't ruin people's businesses with your biased reviews. If we had your number, we would have called you. Also, I knew for a fact you would call, and I had been waiting for your call. I still remember the prices and everything that happened that day. You always get undercharged and the one time we charge you the right amount, you throw a fit. It's not my fault that you specifically told me you had already paid. If you had told me in the first place you only paid for the brow wax, this wouldn't have happened. You should really mention what actually happened ie: you prepaid first and then told me you already paid in the wax room. I'm always at the salon, 7 days a week. I know it's you because coincidently, you're the only, I mean only client this has happened to. I also know you go to Keisha for your extensions. I've been in Texas for two LONG years and still can't seem to find that right salon that will really work and dig into my cuticles. I repeatedly ask this upon my arrival 'I want my cuticles done well, all dead skin around my toe nails and I prefer the hard or harsh cleaning of them (I'm a runner and wear heals at work), so my feet feel it everyday and all I ask is to really work on the cuticles around the nails - to this day not one salon has meet my California expectations, sorry but it's the truth. I've tried expensive places, cheap places, hole in the wall places, rich areas and no matter what it's the same. They say 'yes' and make it seem like they understand, but over promise and under deliver. Not the service you get in California. Not the same since the previous owner sold it two years ago. I go back from time to time to give this new Bella Nails a shot, but I've been disappointed 4 out of 5 times. Simple finishes, such as nail painting, done disastrously. This last time, after my nails dried I could see where the 2nd coat began and ended - uncleanly.
