Cosmetic surgeons are a dime a dozen, but you never really hear about someone having an especially great experience. I am SO GLAD that we made the journey! From the very first consultation, Dr. Florin was attentive, articulate, and personable. When I explained what I wanted she was very knowledgeable in explaining the processes, recovery and likely outcomes of the procedures. She did not attempt to talk me into or out of the concerns, corrections or enhancements that I wanted for my body. My spouse and I did not feel rushed or uncomfortable and were able to ask all of the questions (and receive the answers) that we wanted. Aside from the small amount of general discomfort experienced after having any surgical procedure, I was amazed at the lack of pain, mobility issues or bruising that I experienced. I followed the instructions of Dr. Florin and her team to a T, and my outcome has really been incredible. From the office manager Angel, to Dr. Florin's nurse Dayra, the team is communicative, available and personable. Really just overall amazing! I work an extremely demanding job both mentally and physically. My uniform and gear now fit me better and are unencumbered. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and the results she creates. I've personally had my lips and nose filler done by her, and I've been so happy with my results. I've also seen her breast augmentation work through a friend who went to her, and her results are beautiful! The office itself has such a warm, welcoming feel, and everyone on the staff has been so kind. I'm always a little nervous when I get filler, but her MA was incredibly sweet and made me feel comfortable and taken care of the entire time. I honestly couldn't recommend Dr. Florin more. He has done excellent work on my lips with great natural looking results. The dental block makes the lip procedures almost painless which was hard to find locally. I no longer live in the area and booked this appointment my only chance back in town. On the morning of my appointment I called to confirm since I never received a confirmation email or reminder. No one answered. I had to call the Manhattan Beach location just to find out that Costa Mesa was closed. I was never notified. No call, no email, nothing. This location has gone noticeably downhill. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone, and they have switched away from medical grade numbing cream which has made tattoo removal significantly more painful than it used to be. I still have several sessions remaining that I need to use up, but if you are looking for a reliable provider I would honestly recommend going elsewhere. The quality of this location has gone down tremendously and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. I genuinely hope management addresses these issues because the service I experienced years ago was excellent. This is not that.
