I have not talked to a designer yet that knew it was there and it was never pointed out. No one would sign it if they read it anyway, custom furniture is supposed to be custom furniture?? It does say, please specify if exact dimensions are required. I spent several hours going over my specifications and made it clear that for over 15 years my husband and I have sat in a chair and a half and that it was important to us. I spent thousands of dollars in DG to have 3 chair and halves, 3 ottomans, two large sofa's and 6 dining chairs, all CUSTOM. After months of waiting and giving all of my furniture away in anticipation for my new furniture to arrive, I have received nothing I ordered. Not one piece of furniture that I ordered is any of the dimensions that are clearly written on my contract. I called and even took pictures in to show them what my furniture looked like. The man that I worked with and did all of my paperwork said "it looks terrible, let me see what I can do". I felt it was all going to be rectified. The next day a letter went out saying, they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do. I was devastated and have tried everything in my power to have them make this right. They are refusing to do anything and blaming everyone, but themselves, they take no responsibility at all. I have my license, but even went in with another designer, they made us both sign the contract, but now they don't want to communicate with us, because they are seeking legal counsel. Six dining chairs that arrived were not at all what I ordered and they had them picked up and were going to return my money. Now they will not even do that and yet, they have the 6 dining chairs in their possession. The fabric that is on 2 chair and halves has stretched out over 3 inches and continues to stretch on both the seats of the chairs and the ottomans. They blame it on the company that provided the fabric, but it is the upholsterers that decide if the fabric should be backed, not the company that the fabric was purchased from. One chair and half that arrived had a different fabric that they said did need to be backed and it was. The problem with that chair and ottoman is, it came with not only totally wrong dimensions, but the fabric was put on backwards. They agreed to redo the fabric, but they will not change the wrong dimensions and said if I wanted the ottomans cut down, it would cost me $1,500 each to do this. So I sit here stressed and sad that I have a house full of furniture that is so awful it is embarrassing to have in my new home. I have had to hire an attorney and will spend thousands more to help me with this problem. I have no choice but to take action since they are not willing to take responsibility for their very poor and unattractive products. Beware of using this company, you have been warned!!! I wish I had read some of the comments on Yelp before I used DG, I would have gone somewhere else, somewhere that cared about their customers and cared about the quality of their products.

Where do I start? In April of 2020 I was furloughed from a…read moretech company I had been with for 7 years due to the COVID pandemic. It was during this time my fiance and I decided we no longer want to rely on working for another company and instead open our dream coffee shop. While most businesses were shutting down or even worse, closing their doors forever, we took this time to pour everything into the coffee shop. After obtaining the perfect space I needed help with bringing my design to life and that's where Sally came in, with Crave Design. The space we took over was an old hair salon, not up to restaurant code. This means we had a lot of renovating to do, so much so, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go this route if you're planning on opening a food facility in San Diego county, although with the help of Sally and a good contractor you're sure to be in good hands. Sally was there every step of the way for me. She met me numerous times providing samples of what I could use to build the bar with, finish the countertops with, and different textiles that we could use to give the bar more detail. She somehow always fit me into her schedule whether it was a quick call or to stop by the shop. Since we were doing a complete renovation we had to go back and forth with the county on our plans and Sally was so incredibly helpful and always on top of it including the turn around time. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge and a great eye for detail. Sally is professional, punctual, and personable and I couldn't recommend her more!
