First of all, the are not affordable. They were more then every place I've recently got a bid. I paid 5400.00 5 yrs. ago. To start off, the first time i took my truck there, i had a small problem and the mechanic started to fix it with a zip tie.i walked into the office and had them fix it right. That should have been a red flag. Then i took it my truck back to have my transmission rebuilt. When ipicked it up, i asked the guy in the office if the same guy that did my last repair was the same guy that rebuilt my transmission. He said yes. I knew right then i was going to have problems. About 1 1/2 years later i started having problems. Hi rpms before it would shift, rough shifts, not shifting at all over 3000 rpms. I definitely would not recommend this place and i see lots of other complaints in yelp also. DO NOT USE AFFORDABLE TRAMSMISSION. I'm sure you will regret this choice...! JEFF

High quality, quick, reliable, fair, and honest!…read more I own a Smart car and so it can be difficult finding a shop that actually knows how to work and Smart cars and won't charge you an arm and a leg for it. But the other day, my Smart car wouldn't start. I tried jumping it, and it still wouldn't start. So I thought maybe it was the starter or the alternator. My Smart car was now a dumb car. So I called around to see if anyone close by could work on Smart cars. I spoke with the owner, Mark, first and not only did he say that they could fix whatever issue it was, but he also told me to check with my insurance company to see if they would cover the cost of the tow. (And they did, so bonus points for the free tow!) But anyway, I had it towed, and I told them that I thought it might be the starter. They got back to me within a few hours and let me know that it was only the battery. They sent me a quote via email and it was a lot less than I was expecting. I even compared the battery price to the price of batteries at a few "local" parts stores. And the cost of the battery itself was way less than what any part store would have charged me. They had the work done within a few hours and I was able to get it back quickly. I can't recommend the team at All Auto Repair more highly. They are great people and great to work with. My car is Smart once again.

I wanted to get a 2nd opinion prior to my warranty expiring so I took the vehicle in for a complete look over. I could not have been happier with the results. My inspection came with a full color detailed report that they both printed and texted me. It even came with photos and descriptions of what those photos were because to be honest I have no idea what I was looking at until I read the description. They ended up catching something the dealership either completely ignored or just simply missed but either way I'm happy to have caught it early. I truly have found my home should I need any future repairs and these guys will even be taking care of the simple things like my oil changes, tires, ect. Thought had to be coincidence until my uncle took his in and the same things started happening. Fox truck, go home- something else breaks/leaks days later. And they are big repairs. Final red flag. Took truck in for a service light. Told us we did something wrong- charged us for labor to look at it. Shortly after, light comes on again. Take it back in and told it "XYZ 'needed to be replaced". Cost was $2000+. Call around- take it to a reputable place that also specializes in Diesel. XYZ was not even broken or needing replaced. Actual cost for the service light issue was $451. Later find out, the item Gem State wanted to replace was just replaced BY THEM year and half ago! Something is fishy with this company. You'll be dumping thousands before you know it. Steer clear.
