I've been taking my dogs to this groomer for a while. I've always been charged 85-120 depending on…read morehow bad they are. I expect to pay for if they're matted more one time or another. This last time I was charged 50 dollars in random fees that the groomer stated were normal. For the past 5 years I've been using pet smart I had never had a random 10 dollar charge for "groomer fee" where she stated she had another groomer help her w my dog? I also was charged 20 dollars for 30 mins of de-matted time. Along with an additional 10 dollars for 15 more minutes? This has never been added to my bill before. They usually charge a flat fee of 20 dollars for de-matting. I feel like I was not fairly billed on my 10th visit here. I'd much rather use a local groomer for 150 dollars, where they're professionally trained. My poor dog's haircut was terrible. lol a lot of missed places just to get her shaved. With that said I will say that I have had Paxton (who did not do this hair cut) work on my other dog and the haircut turned out great! If you do go here ask for her!

I wished the tubs would've been higher, so my back didn't hurt so bad and the water spout is too big and cumbersome to get underneath my labrador dog comfortably. Because my canine is a Service-Dog who uses his nose to work, I requested unscented shampoo and as nice as the clerk was, they could not accommodate. The store is bright, clean and well organized, but I have to say for someone who washes her Service dog once every week or two paying $44+ for a self service dog bath seems insane to me. In all my years of washing service dogs I have never paid more than $20 and most of the time I'm offered a Service-Dog discount to somewhere between six and $12. Max $18. Also, I was looking for cotton balls and Q-tips, etc. to be able to dry out and clean out my dog's ears, which they had none of. So in summary, I brought my own shampoo, washed my own dog used one towel and it cost me $44 & a back ache. Part of the reason I go to the self-serve places is because I don't want to hurt my back, but I could've used a hose for free and been in the same place. I offered suggestions as I departed, but they seemed to fall on deaf ears, or the clerk seemed to have heard it all before and kind of brushed it off. While talking he mentioned how until he's more knowledgeable about that animal, he won't be selling any until he felt like he was experienced enough to teach people what he knew and more. Every staff member I encountered was kind, friendly, patient, and helpful. One thoughtful woman went out of her way to bring a bowl of water for my dog (who was not the animal needing care but could not be left at home alone). The doctor who saw my injured cat was generous with his time, answered my questions thoroughly, and had a good sense of humor. Staff members did their best to make sure I did not miss my return ferry and even gave helpful advice on where to find a decent latte at the crack of dawn. When it came time to pay I was expecting a bill in the mid four digits- after all, this is ER care at 3am on a weekend- but the total was shockingly low! I even asked if they had forgotten to add in his bag of meds! The fact that affordable, quality emergency care like this exists is deeply heartening. We took our cat to the Pet Emergency Center and as miserable as that experience always is, they did a really good job and made the process fairly smooth. The veterinarian was a very nice warm person, and she did a very nice job with our cat and it went flawless. I would recommend the Pet Emergency Center to handle your needs if your normal vet is too busy to see you, as our vet always is. They have ample parking, and got us right in.

They have no business being a manager. When they were radioded to come to the front to speak to me they said "if i must" for all to hear. She was rude to me from the start. The animal i bought 2 days ago was sick in there tank it had fungus growing on it, was extremelly malnourished and skinny, and had parasites, it would not eat. its tank water was way over the acceptable temperature. It died the day after i esentially rescued and tried to save it. All i was trying to do was bring awareness to the manager. She had the audacity to blame me for its death and said it was completely healthy for the 2 weeks in the store. The associate who sold it to me discounted it 50% because of how sick it appeared to be. The manager swore at me then accused me of just wanting my money back when i simply was trying to make her aware of the unhealthy living conditions. She did not care what i had to say she was inconvienced she even had to do her job. I made a google account just to post this review because of how completely shocked i was by how i was treated. She even did it in front of all her employees. Managers in any profession should not act this way she needs to be immedaitely retrainted on how to talk to other humans. No professionalism whatsoever.
