They took such great care of us, start to finish. We've never had insulation work done before and didn't know what to expect. They held our hand through the entire process, showing us examples of what to expect, clearly communicating every step, explaining they don't paint the plugs but we can either paint them ourselves or hire painters (and they provided professional painter recommendations), etc. We felt so held the entire process. Ashley is so prompt in responding to any calls or messages. Ashley & Zach initially came out to take measurements for a quote, and answer any and all questions I had. The pricing was great, and they took care of filing all the paperwork for the PSE rebates. When it was time to do the work, the whole crew was fantastic! They worked efficiently, and kept the area very tidy, laying down plastic and cleaning as they went. We were so impressed by them!!! They insulated the walls and put insulation under the buildings, in our crawl spaces & also air sealed and wrapped all of the pipes! Once the project was done, Ashely let us know they had overestimated the amount of material they were going to need and actually send us a refund check because they didn't end up using all of the materials we were charged for! I have some experience in the building trades and was impressed by what I saw both in the quality of work and by the simple fact that unlike many Contractors/Subs these days, when Spane's crew got started, they didn't stop until the project was finished. In early 2025 I decided I wanted to build a 30'x32' shop at my house for my own use. I got bids from 5 different contractors and I decided on Spane for three main reasons: First, in my initial and subsequent meetings with Michelle, their designer and estimator, I learned she was very knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. She took me through the entire design/build process from the beginning to the end, cheerfully answered my questions and put up with me changing my mind several times during the process. Because of her thoroughness, there were no surprises from start to finish. She made it easy. Second, Spane's bid came in the lowest, but I thought it was reasonable as I had done my own estimate of materials and labor based on current costs. (Unlike some of these Contractors around here who jack their bids up to try to make a years profit from a 2 month project...) Third, and most important, over the years I had seen for myself the quality of their work and at the end of my build, my new shop is exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted. At that time we did not realize that they had nailed the shingles through our gutter guards which voided the lifetime warranty on the gutter guards. We called Orlando's within the two-year warranty timeframe to come and remove the shingles with the nails in the guards and they wouldn't even come and look at what our complaint was to rectify it. They wanted to charge us to come out and do the repairs to what was clearly covered under our warranty. Very disappointing.
