Shopping second hand can be easier on the environment and the wallet. I have been checking here first when updating the little one's wardrobe and have found some of what I needed for a little cheaper. I dropped off a huge bag of gently used items. When I called back a couple months later to check if I had a credit, I was told no, and in fact the system showed I had owed the store money. I said that's not possible because I have always paid for my items when purchasing, and apart from that, had donated items. I was told the system was wonky, they weren't allowed to discuss details of accounts, and made it sound like I had debt with them. I could have sold all the items on eBay and made probably $30 all-told. I will never consign here again because I feel it is a massive scam. read more

I definitely agree with others in regards to customer service. Most of the workers are not friendly or do not smile or greet you. Dropping off donated bags feels like I'm inconveniencing them. I dropped off a hardly used scooter (bought it a couple months before) but they said the wheels looked a bit worn (because my daughter had accidentally rolled it into the gravel a couple times). They said they wouldn't take it. I do agree they have a large selection of stuff with good prices. I always wonder why there's hardly any 4-5T things, where there is an abundance of other sizes. Well, my previous rating of 2 stars has now gone down to 1 star for consignment. Wee Runs owes me some items they have not returned when I went for my pick up. I had a duplicate set of American Girl Coconut Dogs: One bed; but two of everything else: Two Coconut dogs Two leashes and collars with a little flower Two dog dishes Two Christmas outfits Two Candy Canes And a Dog mat See photo of what is missing from the Coconut I picked up. They finally told me (it took awhile for a young woman to figure this out) that one of the dogs with the bed had sold with its accessories. (Someone got a bargain at $8.00!). When I found out it sold for so little and I therefore only got paid $3.00, I told them I wanted to pick up the other Coconut and accessories that go with him. I was only given Coconut with his Christmas stocking, reindeer headpiece and sweater. Missing are all his other accessories as well as his candy cane. I asked them where the other pieces were - they gave very lame excuses and were defensive. "We sold it as a set; it must have been damaged; etc.". They were all in perfect/like new condition. Why would the accessories for each dog not be kept with it? So, in essence, Wee Runs is responsible for not returning all my items. This establishment is not honest in consigning and I think I agree with another comment: they are not honest about selling. I am still appalled they put the rocking horse in the trash....so they say. Go elsewhere for consigning - or put on Marketplace, or donate to a cause or give away. If a customer reads this who indeed did buy the other Coconut and Bed - and you ended up with doubles of the accessories in a bag, I am happy to buy the duplicates from you. Thank you. read more

Wee Ones is a great Bellingham staple for anything baby/child/pregnancy related. When my sister was pregnant, I shopped there for maternity clothes (which she loved and were so much cheaper than buying new) and baby items. My nephew is now almost a year old and, still, almost all of his clothes are from Wee Ones. You can't beat the prices and the selection of new and used items is great. My cousins are older -- ages 3 to 9 -- and I have no problem doing my Christmas shopping at Wee Ones for all of them. They even offered free gift wrap for the presents I bought! I have to say every time we walk into Wee One's we are never greeted at the door and then when I go to the back to bring bags or items to donate or sell I'm always greeted with "that's too much stuff" or "we don't accept that" or "it's bagged wrong" never am I greeted first with a HI! Which I find so simple to do to lighten up the spirit. Find a different job if you don't like working here because it shows on every single one of these employees faces. None of them smile and none of them laugh. They charge a crazy high "cleaning fee" when in reality the stuff on the sales floor doesn't look like it was cleaned. Some of the stuff is priced high some is very low. Don't come here on a rainy day you'll just leave feeling even more gloomy. read more

OK for buying, although some of their stuff is very old and over-priced, especially kid's gear. I'd stick to Craigslist, where you will pay less for newer gear. Ironically, some of their new items that they sell are reasonably priced. Lately I've had a hard time finding newer clothing for my children here. It seems like the few items I've bought are older clothes. Consigning at Wee Ones has been a headache. I get conflicting info about what sold and they don't have a very good tracking system. I dropped off a ton of stuff and was told that 9 items sold and several items were donated. No one could tell me where the rest of it all went. This has happened to a few other moms I know, so I'm thinking my problem wasn't an isolated incident. I won't be consigning any more at Wee Ones. My friends recommended another store, and I have switched to consigning there and have been told my items are cute and clean and my stuff sells. My friends and I have a hypothesis about Wee Ones -- they accept all consigned items and then donate things to use it as a tax write off. Something cute may never even hit the racks. My sister brought me here and I gotta say I'm impressed. They have color sales, though I'm unsure if they change or not. A rewards program. (If you click on 10 times in a year. You get a 20% off everything coupon, good for 10 months.) And some good deals. Some things are over priced. But most have good pricing. They are consignment, which the costumer who brings the items in, get 40% store credit of the sale price. Which is really good seeing as how the normal good price is 30% store credit. I went into wee ones today to take a bag of consignment along with a changing table that we no longer use. They ended up not taking the changing table which is totally fine we ended up donating it, no big deal. But the way the attendant Amy spoke to me was absolutely unacceptable, she was so rude! Lots of space, good prices (on most stuff). There was one worker at the register and two more at the back consignment drop off counter so they were easily accessible. Different color tags get different discounts they have several boards on the walls through out the store to show you how much the discount is for each color. read more

I used to Love coming here, buying and selling my daughters clothes and items. I like the way they are set up, easy to see and go through items. Overall ok on price but could be really hit or miss. I was bringing everything my daughter outgrew that was still in perfect condition (mostly name brand) with no rips, tears, stains, or visible wear. I would put the money towards buying brand new clothes and shoes for my daughter. I was vigilant in the shape and appearance of the items I brought it, spent so much time preparing the items and yet I was noticing that as time went by, I was getting less and less back. I asked several times about it and was told that the items brought it were stained and I know for a Fact they were not. I won't bring my kids clothes back in here. Wow, this is my go to place for my little one's clothes and toys. I found a pack of un-opened name brand diapers for $5. I also bought a bouncer for $12! The onesies are always 99¢; they have a huge bin FULL of them, sometimes they have a BOGO special for them. Talk about a DEAL. I wish I still lived in Bellingham, so that I could take advantage of this awesome kids consignment store more often. I love what they have done to the store in the past few years, which includes wood looking floors and a re-organization. I was able to find some screaming deals on clothes for my son on a recent trip. I used to consign here and was always pleased with the staff. Since moving away from Bellingham, I have consigned at multiple stores in my new town. None of them quite match WeeOnes Reruns. I miss this place! read more

Having babies is expensive so I've started buying some clothing second-hand, especially since I'm having to get the little one a new wardrobe every few months at this stage! This location is super convenient as it's next to one of my favorite stores, Trader Joes. The store is well organized and things are easy to find. There's a selection of new toys (mostly Melissa and Doug) at the front and some new clothing, but the majority is second-hand clothing and toys. The pricing is quite interesting... I was surprised at what they were asking for given the cost of some items brand new (e.g. Joe Fresh, Carters), but other items were excellent deals. There were some additional discounts based on the color of the price tag (assuming it's based on how long the item has been sitting around for). The brands here are mainstream and I did not find any high end brands. I bought a new with tags Gymboree jacket for my little one at a great price (better than the sale price from earlier this year) and a shirt for $13. Like all consignment stores, it's hit and miss so you'll never know if you'll find something unless you come in. read more

I think this is the best consignment store for kids in the area. Their pricing is spot on, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I prefer shopping for baby gear (rather than clothes), I think that is by far the best value. I just dropped off my first load of things to consign. I am eager to see how quickly you see a return on items. I did think it was odd that anything they choose to price at a dollar, you don't get a cut of. That money goes directly to charity. I like being able to give back, I just wish they could bake that into the percentage that they keep. I am not sure I trust their pricing methods when it is done this way, but I am withholding a final opinion until I have consigned with them for a bit. The staff is very friendly, and they let you look around without being overbearing. I have never needed to ask for assistance, so I am not sure how attentive they are when you need something. That could be a sign of a well laid out store though, customers can easily navigate the rows and rows of items. I try to come here first when I need something, as it is loads cheaper buying things used than new. I am also a big fan of reusing and recycling. Kids only use items for so long before they have outgrown them. Most things that wee ones sells are in excellent condition. read more

Absolutely worst place to visit! Terrible costumer service! I took so many almost new baby cloths ( almost $500 worth) and what I got... $19. I think the owners are stealing from their costumes! Dishonest place to take your cloths so ladies don't waist your beautiful cloths and brung them there! This place should be closed for further business! There are way better places to do business then this place! As some one mentioned in their review the owners give away some of the cloths for tax write off! I love this store. I have been consigning here for close to 4 years, and I don't even live in the same country as the store!! I am from B.C. and we drive down to this consignment store to consign my children's stuff because the items get sold, and it's of little effort on my part. I have told other parents at my kids school about it, and I know that my daughter's teacher even began consigning her things here. I don't really know how much my items go for but I know that I always have money waiting for me when I come in and I have found rubber boots for my daughter when they were impossible to find off season. Great store, and the ladies are always friendly and courteous. It's also in the same strip mall as Trader Joe's so that's always an added bonus. I really have to update my review. I took a long break from this store but since having my third child I've been shopping here a lot lately. So customer service hasn't changed at all. It's not the greatest, but no one has done anything that would make me say it's terrible. All the employees are so focused on their duty that they don't seem to have time to say "hello" or "good morning"...but that's not something that is going to stop me from shopping here. I've still had some issues with noticing stains on some of the clothing. If you really want the item and you do notice the stain, mention it and they will give you 50% off (although I don't personally believe stained items should be attempted to be sold for full price to begin with....maybe a dollar rack?). The clothing selection is still hit and miss, but lately I've had more hits than misses. My current frustration is the lack of 6-12 month sleepers for boys. Prices are still the same, but I've been getting more deals with the coloured tags, don't know if it's a coincidence or if they are proactively giving people more of an opportunity to get more savings. I have never attempted to consign here, so my reviews are strictly from a buyers' point of view. read more

I've been coming here for 4 years now, and I think its a great place to find clothing and random toys for my kiddo. Whenever we need to get some new stuff, this is one of the first places I stop by. Like most places, there are some items that can be over-priced, but you can also find some really great deals here. I usually just purchase clothing and random toys, and they seem to be fairly priced (mostly). I consign used toys and clothing here as well, and my items seem to sell fairly quickly, since there seems to always be some kind of balance in my account. I don't consign large items though, just clothing and gently used toys. There is a great selection, especially since the store has expanded, and they do sell brand-new toys with some brand names (Melissa and Doug, etc.), which are great to buy if I have credit on my account. The customer service is average, but honestly, I don't want a sales associate chirping at me while I have my kid with me looking through toys and clothing. The facility is always clean and fairly organized, and they have a small area for children to play in as well. I would recommend stopping by at least to take a peek, out of all the consignment stores I've visited, this one is by far my favorite. read more

Something is VERY fishy with this store... I have been consigning there for a year now and have dropped off bags full of items (some still with tags on) and all purchased brand new and all gently used. Each time, I get about $4 and even more pathetic $2. My last trip I dropped off a bag full of season appropriate clothing from Gymboree, Oillily and Zutano. 1/3 of the items still had tags, the rest were like new. I got $4 out of it. They claim they are "donating" items. Another time I dropped off a brand new booster seat, they claimed they did not keep it to sell. I found that very odd and started to suspect something. So when I went in searching, it was in there and they were asking $25 for it! I asked the clerk and she said she didn't know but to ask someone else. They told me "so many things come in sometimes we make mistakes". Hmmm.... I wonder how many "mistakes" have been made with everyone else's items? The even stranger thing... after that incident I decided I would ask them to go through my items with me there, and let me know what they were keeping and not keeping. It was only a few pairs of shoes and a grocery bags worth of clothes and there was nearly no one in the store and 3 people on staff. They said NO, they do not offer that because it takes too much time!!! I have several girlfriends that have reported the exact same thing here. Dropping off bags of gently used name brand items, then getting only a few dollars and having them claim they donated more than 3/4 of it. Yet when you go in their store, the items they carry are not that great for the price and you can go in 2-3 weeks later and still see the same items on the shelf. Why are they supposedly keeping the cheaper, more well used and junkier items and supposedly donating the like-new designer items. Even my bosses daughter reported the same thing, dropping off items and having them claim they donate it. She dropped off formula and then went in less than a week later to find the exact brand (a more rare organic brand) on the shelf. 4 of the 6 cans were gone (selling for $9.99 each) and NO CREDIT on her account. She asked them and they claimed it belonged to someone else. When she argued it, they got rude. YEAH RIGHT. How many people in the same week would just so happen to drop off the exact brand of organic formula you can only purchase online right after she brought hers in? And why would they donate hers, but suddenly decide to keep the others? Something is NOT right. Myself and several others have very good reason to believe they are keeping items they know will sell like hotcakes and selling them in the store before the owner is able to check for them, or selling them on Ebay, to other consignment stores and Craigslist. I do not feel this is an honest store on the up and up. I consign everywhere in B'ham and NEVER have this issue elsewhere. I can drop off a bag of items at any other consignment store in B'ham and check back within the week and have as much as a $20 credit. I do not feel this is an honest seller. And after dropping off a bag of clothing, a set of Wooden Brio Trains and 3 pairs of See Kai Runs NEW in the box only to have a $4 credit ... And a claim they only kept one sweater and 2 pairs of pants, I will NEVER EVER consign there again. I have 4 kids so items pile up fast. We buy a lot more brand new items than we do used, but like to consign because it saves me the trouble of listing and selling items myself. It is nice to get something back out of the hundreds of dollars I spend on kids items each year. But I would rather donate the items myself and know they truly are going to the needy, than feed this stores greedy appetite for money and their dishonest way of obtaining it! Don't drop off your stuff to consign there. Huge rip off. I dropped off so many items to them, a lot of them brand new with tags still on them. They would only give me credit for about one tenth of the items. They would claim that things were donated. I saw the type of clothing that was on their racks, and mine was definitely in much better shape. Shame on them for doing business like that. read more

Don't consign here! After bringing in about 40 QUALITY items, handing over three SASEs for my money to be sent, and waiting about six months - I got a check for $8.00! And only after calling twice! I've experienced the same issues as these people with consigning at Wee Ones. I was even insulted by them on the condition of my items. I was appalled! I also brought in a huge 30 gal. bag of nice gently used clothing & shoes plus other items in a couple of boxes. They said i brought too much but they'd allow it that time. Everything was buttoned, zipped and clean & free of stains or holes. When I came back to see what credit was placed on my account, they said 3 dollars. I thought I heard them wrong but that was it. They told me my stuff was stained & dirty! It was unacceptable!? I replied that I know what they said was false because I spent a lot of my time making sure everything I brought in was in good condition and smelled nice. I donated anything I wouldn't buy to a goodwill bin near my home. That was actually the second time they did this to me. First time I thought it was a mistake of an employee, but I am convinced by all the other reviews and Craigslist complaints that Wee Ones is running a dirty business. Although I continue to shop there for my kids, since the prices are right, I wonder if my money is actually going to the rightful owner of the clothing I'm purchasing. I really doubt it. I feel badly for all who have been robbed blindly by that place. They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau by ALL who have had this experience there. It's not fair that they continue to get away with this. A girl at Little Red Wagon told me she's heard stories about them as well. I will never take my items in there again to be sold..stolen. There's no excuse for what they're doing to the people they're taking advantage of. They must be making quite a profit off of everyone who sits back quietly and allows this to go on. read more
