This warehouse is filled with two-stories of second-hand goodies from the island. You'll find a large selection of kitchen gear, board games, winter items, and lightly-used treasures. They've done a great job separating each of the spaces, making individualized rooms and isles to showcase different categories of goods. There's a large space upstairs for all their outdoor and sports gear. I even saw a number of skis, boots, poles, and jackets that instantly caught my attention! The team here is incredibly kind and will help you hunt through their many isles for the perfect find.

I'm not sure if the service providers are volunteers, but it has that vibe of kindness from the people working there. One of the senior customers had trouble paying with a credit card and the friendly staff has the patience to teach the person how to use the machine etc. It was really nice to see the support of patient education that supports autonomy.

Clothing, books, living and bedroom furniture, lifejackets and utility sinks. Silverware and mops. Outdoor furniture... That door you've been looking for...it's probably here... Plan to browse and be flexible. You are recycling "treasures" - it's not new retail. Courteous staff members. Constant flow of people dropping off donations - so the inventory changes all the time.

Owner doesn't engage much with you. It's a good place to go if you have lots of time to look for the right item, but it's too overstocked for real browsing. Finally, the sign says "Supporting our community," but this does not appear to be a charity type store.

Then at the end of my stay I'll consign them all back or give them away! Anyway, Aurora is a great consignment shop with lots of relaxed styles I don't see as much here on the East Coast. Nothing like a cozy chamois shirt or some nice broken-in jeans to enhance the island feel. She has lots of nicer things too, of course. See you soon, Aurora!
