Plan to browse and be flexible. You are recycling "treasures" - it's not new retail. Courteous staff members. Constant flow of people dropping off donations - so the inventory changes all the time.

Owner doesn't engage much with you. It's a good place to go if you have lots of time to look for the right item, but it's too overstocked for real browsing. Finally, the sign says "Supporting our community," but this does not appear to be a charity type store.

Then at the end of my stay I'll consign them all back or give them away! Anyway, Aurora is a great consignment shop with lots of relaxed styles I don't see as much here on the East Coast. Nothing like a cozy chamois shirt or some nice broken-in jeans to enhance the island feel. She has lots of nicer things too, of course. See you soon, Aurora!
