My furnace has been experiencing some issues lately, so after careful consideration, I decided to seek assistance from Belair Engineering. The first technician, Corey, came out to assess my furnace and discovered that the circuit board was faulty and that the gas valve was experiencing heat drops. He explained the issues well and demonstrated that the gas valve was malfunctioning. Given that I purchased the furnace in 1998, I realized the situation was serious and heeded Corey's advice to upgrade, especially since this problem had been ongoing. The next day, Art Harris visited to discuss furnace brands. He recommended American Standard, which I found to be affordable. I appreciated that Art made an effort to secure as much discount as possible to help make the new furnace even more economical. Today, on Christmas Eve, Richard and Sadik arrived to install the new furnace. Their work was phenomenal. They carefully removed the old furnace and installed the new one with all the necessary components. They also made sure to clean up after the installation. Once the job was completed, Richard reviewed all the paperwork with me, and his explanations were clear and concise. Belair Engineering is truly unparalleled among all the companies I've encountered. They arrived within the promised timeframe and delivered excellent service throughout the process. read more

I have a newborn and a 4 year at home and the AC went out when the weather was in the upper 90's. I called several companies and explained my situation. Most companies indicated they would get back to me in a day or so and with kids in the home, that was hard to hear. However, I kept trying and finally called Belair Engineering & Service Co, I explained what was going on and I was treated as if I was a family member in need of assistance. A technician came out the same day. From the person who answered the phone, the staff that assisted with scheduling, to the actual technician that came to my home, I received courteous and professional service. I highly recommend Belair Engineering. It seems like within minutes after the technician arrived, I had a comfortable home again and my children and I were all happy. Thank you Belair! read more

Justin was excellant, polite, and very professional. He took the time to explain some parts that would be beneficial for me to have installed that would help prevent some particular problems from occuring. I was extremely grateful for his thoughtfulness in sharing this information with me. The individuals that have come out to service my unit in the past have been nice and professional but I have to say that no one has explained things to my like Justin did and that means allot to me. I want to know all of what I can do to help this system last a long time. He was excellent both in his communication skills and very knowledgable of how this system works. I would very much prefer, on my two checkups each year, to have Justin come to check my system. All in all I feel Belair provides wonderful service. read more

We had a pipe leaking somewhere over our kitchen. It was pooling it the soffit, leaking down behind our cabinets, and down the stove. We called our insurance company and then Belair. Brendan was sent out, was able to quickly identify the problem, explain how it happened and what he will do to fix it. Because he was so nice and was able to communicate the information in a way I could understand Brendan will now be my go to plumber when ever there is an issue in my home. Of course I hope I don't have to call Belair anytime soon but you get what I mean. It's nice to have someone who you know, are comfortable with, and who gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Thank you Belair and thank you Brendan. read more

Tech was awesome! Overall experience was good. Anthony was an amazing, courteous, professional, friendly, knowledgeable tech. I'd recommend him all day long. The experience was good, but challenging. The house is unoccupied, and required me to drive 45 minutes (each way) to meet Anthony for the work. Having to do that three times before we could get the problem solved was a lot. I understand troubleshooting, and troubleshooting over the holidays (2022) didn't help matters. I don't have anything to compare this to on price. Fix was expensive, but it's an old system, so I kinda understand. read more

I approached a Belair Engineering technician as he was leaving my neighbor's house and asked about the services offered. I was very impressed with his professionalism, and he gave me a packet of information about the company. I then read the company reviews on YELP, and decided to schedule an appointment to service my HVAC system and gas fireplace. Both technicians arrived on time, were very polite, and performed the services quickly and efficiently. The prices are reasonable, and I love the fact that BELAIR is a female owned company. I also purchased an annual service contract. read more

I've been a long time customer of Belair Engineering and they continue to excel with their customer service. Most recently, I needed to schedule my spring start up ---- Peggy is always so cheerful and professional with scheduling. Maurice was the tech and per my request, contacted me 30 minutes before arriving. He was prompt, efficient and informative through the appointment. It's not unusual to call and actually have Debbie and/or Don Risher (owners) answer the phone -- they walk the walk with their customers - thanks for all you do for your customers and community!! read more

I want to add an additional comment because Belair's response below from Don Risher was incorrect. Belair technicians were on my property without my permission looking at my outside fireplace hook-up while they were servicing my neighbor's property. It is one thing to be near the proximity of my property when doing work at a neighbor's as he claims, but it is quite another to be actively looking at my fireplace hook-up without my permission. I saw this with my own eyes and told the technicians to get off my property. Be careful with this company and their spin. read more

Belair sets the bar as high as it gets. I had no prior gas fireplace maintenance experience. I called for an appointment & spoke with Don. He was incredibly helpful & he provided a lot of information that really helped me as a consumer. Belair's person, Rusty, called me 30 minutes out & even showed up early. He sets the bar as high as it gets. He was phenomenal - attention to detail, customer-oriented, teaches without prompting, no upsell, unnecessary items, etc. It was an impressive, 5-star experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Belair. read more

I contacted Belair Engineering for help in understanding Carrier's line of EDGE thermostats and spoke to a man named Vic. Even though I live far away and could not use the services of Belair, Vic spoke to me at great length, understanding, knowledge and enthusiasm about my issue. Although I haven't used Belair's servcies directly, I am compelled to write how helpful Vic was to me. In fact he was more knowledgeable about Carrier's products than Carrier. Vic is a star. read more

I didn't think I was getting proper service through my home warranty company, and decided to call Belair to help with my AC problem. I am SO glad I did! Belair came out within 2 hours of my call, properly diagnosed and fixed my problem, and completed a thorough inspection of my AC system. Spent $98 versus $4700 that the other company wanted to charge me for a whole new system. Honest, dependable, thorough service that I will use again! read more

Julius Ford installed a hot water heater in my house...went above and beyond !! he had to drag that heavy hot water heater up 47 steps to install it by himself !! He cheerfully did it without complaint. Julius is very professional, very polite, thorough, and friendly. What an asset to Belair!! I will always recommend Belair for all of my plumbing, HVAC, generator, fireplace, and air quality needs. They are so impressive !! read more

They were excellent - both in communication and in plumbing skills. They let me know what to expect - and fixed an estate house issue quickly - and responded back when it needed an adjustment . The technician Santos was wonderful - he explained - and showed me the problem so I could communicate it to family ( who think - and are probably right that they know more than me ....) I highly recommend them . Thanks again ! read more

George called within the appointment time to say that he would be at my place within 10-15 minutes. He arrived within that time and after assessing the work area, brought the part and his tools in and began work. It was somewhat of a messy job and George vacuumed the area and left it is as he found it. He performed the installation in a professional and a timely manner. In a couple of words, GOOD JOB. read more

Awesome service! As always, BelAir was amazing. Great responsiveness, perfect customer service. Made an appt online and received a call from the owner almost immediately. He sent Woodrow to the house and I couldn't have asked for a better technician. Patient, explained everything well. Re the price: completely reasonable. I would've paid 10x as much for what I got. Thanks for everything! read more
