Stay away from this place. They have no clue what customer service is. Extremely rude staff.

I have used Beejee fashions for many occasions and the customer service and choice is the best in the area. Shazia and Kiran Can alter the outfits and also do custom orders with a eight week lead time. read more

Kiran was so nice and welcoming! It was our first time there and she gave us excellent prices for a suit we fell in love with! She was very kind and reasonable sales people, something that is hard to find on Devon! I will definitely recommend going there! They have amazing customer service and great prices and overall, amazing quality in their clothes!! 10/10!! read more

Kiran Aunty is a rockstar saleswoman. She knows how to treat her customers with kindness and respect. I went to about 4 stores on Devon - and every single place refused to let me try stuff on because I am not the typical size 0 of a desi girl. Kiran Aunty let me try on everything I wanted. She made me feel beautiful and didn't body shame me like the others on Devon did. Go here for all your desi clothes needs. You won't be disappointed. read more

Kiram was very helpful, warm, and honest in helping my husband and I shop for an upcoming Indian wedding. Her opinions and feedback were the exact help we needed! Bejee Collections has many options for wedding guest attire across all price points. Kiram provided the exact guidance and expertise we needed, and we found quality options we are very excited to wear! This store has both traditional and modern options and I was able to pick out something very unique and on trend. I will definitely be coming back here, especially after a bad experience at another shop down the block. Thank you, Kiram! read more

This the place where you will be taken advantage of base on your lack of knowledge. Oh and the staff are extremly rude if you know what you're talking about. I criticized them on their low quality and ridiculous prices. You're better off shopping online! read more

Came down to Chicago for a vacation and just casually dropped into this store. And came out buying 3 outfits. Definitely worth the visit. Deepti was so sweet and cordial . :) Thank you Bejee collections. read more

Beautiful bridal collection. Amazing staff! Kiran Aunty was incredibly kind and helped us pick out the absolute perfect bridal dress for my fiancé. She even threw in some jewelry to sweeten the pot. We would highly recommend anyone looking for wedding outfits or just want to expand their wardrobe with desi clothes to come over to Chicago and check out BeJee Collections. Thank you again for the great service! read more

I had been looking for outfits to wear at my brother's wedding and found THREE gorgeous outfits at Bejee Collections! Upon entering the store, we were warmly welcomed by Huriya who went above and beyond to bring out pieces that suit by body type. She was honest when something did not look good on me and provided great feedback. I fell in love with three pieces, but was conflicted because on buying them because I needed them altered. Huriya made sure that the alterations were done in less than 24 hours! The customer service was exceptional and it's what ultimately made us buy, regardless of the price tag. I would recommend shopping here for any and all occasions! read more

We went in to find a saree for my sister. The lady behind the counter was friendly, helpful, and thorough. She helped find just the right blouse and saree combo. The boutique itself is large, clean, and classy. They actually have good fitting rooms! It's not cramped and over crowded like other stores on Devon. The clothes are gorgeous. It's one of the better boutiques you'll find for Indian and Pakistani wear. read more

Came in for a custom dress and got exactly what I wanted from the unique colors, the design and fitting, everything was catered to my needs at a fair price. Next time I'm getting a dress made for a wedding, bet I'm coming back here! read more

Similar story to Wajiha. We attempted to purchase a wedding dress here. The owner promised the world and was all smiles until she got our money. Then the dress was late and when it arrived it was completely wrong: wrong color, wrong style, wrong size. The owner now turned on us, insulted us to our faces and said "no refunds". The credit card is denying our claim as well, saying we knew there would be no refund at the time of purchase. Caveat Emptor, I guess. You can check their miserable rating at the BBB. Stay away or pay on delivery. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would! Terrible people, liars and cheats! They promised the same quality work as what they have on display but what they produced was not even close! It's like they had someone blind make the replica. The color of the material was so off, the design was very low quality, barely the amount of detail as the original. She took everything upfront money wise too because they are scam artists and know how to play people. Beware! read more

I found the perfect indowestern wedding dress at shop!!! It was hard to remain in love with one dress as there were so many breathtaking designs everywhere I turned so I had to keep recalibrating. This was not the case at the other many stores I visited on Devon Street as the choice for fusion dresses were so limited. Also, the service and attention I received from Shazia and Kiran was nothing short of superb. I really felt like they listened and cared about customizing my dress with fine details to create my dream wedding dress unique to just me. Last, Kiran really knows her stuff. She spoke with such confidence on what would and wouldn't work, made suggestions, and even drew sketches to make sure we were all on the same page. I never felt rushed. With sincerity, she even asked me to send her a pic of us at wedding wearing the attire we purchased. I can't wait to dress and feel like a princess on my wedding all thanks to them. :) Sargum read more

I have been to her store for more than 2 times. Every time I need an outfit for special occasion, she is the one I think of. I think her taste in clothing is just like mine. So every time I go I wrap up my shopping in less than half an hour. She also makes shopping pleasurable because shes so chill and I love her attitude. Last year, we bought 2 pieces from her that are still my most cherished pieces is my wardrobe. My sister is quite picky and ordered a custom made dress but she was more than satisfied with how it turned out. Yesterday, we bought to more dresses from her which I will cherish for sure. She has a lot of loyal customers and the reviews on yelp aren't doing justice to her store. read more

The app made me put one star in order to leave this review. The place doesn't deserve any star. It took me a year to cool down and write this review. After all they asked me to leave it on yelp and here I am. Just keeping my promise. To begin with I should mention I'm not south Asian and was looking for my wedding dress with my Pakistani fiancé. So I had little to no idea about the prices and quality. They ripped me off. Shamelessly. With no second thought. Great team work of mother and daughter. I overpaid 4 times the real price. Mind you there were other women and every time I tried to ask any question there were rude to the point I wanted to leave the place. But I didn't. I really loved one of their dresses. And my wedding was in just a week. So I stayed. I paid as much as I've been told since bargain is something I'm not good at and well.. I thought they were nice people. So dumb of me. I also paid for alterations and attaching shiny glitter pieces on the dress. Hot glue it was. Year after my BMW still looks like I'm 16. And they didn't tailor it. Why would you take money for something you are not good at? Perhaps that's how they run their business. Oh well. And it is totally my fault and I shouldn't have let them do this. But it happened. They robbed me just like taking candy from a child. So thank you Beejee. Thanks for proving me right. I'll never come back despite of numerous occasions I attend and outfits I buy. I'll never recommend the place to any of my south Asian friends. I'll never mention Beejee to anyone ever except as obnoxious thieves who took advantage of an anxious bride. Basharam chors! Kabi bi ais place per shopping nain kerna. Basharam. read more

Had a very good experience here. The shop is very nice looking and their selection was def one of the best on Devon. The women owners were very friendly and fun. They were very helpful in helping us select something in our price range and worked with us on the price. They took their time with us too. We spent a lot of time looking for dresses and this was where we found the winner read more

Eventually got the suit we wanted from Kiran... after 3 separate visits. Would hate to go through this experience with her again. She messed up our suit the first time, and refused to fix it without hours of fighting with her. She doesn't know how to treat customers with respect, and is extremely rude. Bahut buthameez hai. If you choose to do business with her, be prepared for a headache. Also be sure to ask for a signed order, receipt, and take before and after pictures. Without this evidence, you'll never get the suit you paid for. read more

I had the best Indian clothes shopping experience ever at Bejee's! Kiran was very sweet about helping me try on multiple sarees and she has a large selection of the trendiest styles. It was exactly what I was looking for. The store was neat, there s a podium where you can try on all the clothes and it has good lighting. With the upbeat Bollywood music in the background and Huriya's enthusiasm, I felt like I was in a Bollywood movie! What an experience. Huriya is definitely the soul of the store and was very enthusiastic about helping me find the perfect saree for the upcoming function. They were very sincere about what looked good and didn't and you rarely find such genuine people. The prices are good too! It's a family run store that makes you feel welcome and treats you like family. At the end we got to enjoy some snacks together. Can't wait to go back there! read more

We did a special order for my sister's wedding. Kiren promised to do the order exactly the same as the sample we saw and provide even better quality . She did not live up to her promise . We received the dresses two weeks later than promised and the quality was hideous . We paid $650 per dress but received dresses which looked like they were worth $50. Please do not waste your time and money here . I'm beyond upset with the quality we received . Now we have to look for a different option and only two weeks left until the wedding. They are nice and welcoming in the beginning . But once they take your money , that's it . It's over . They will never answer any phone calls or respond back . read more

Wandering the street as an American tourist, my friend and I were entranced with the ornate dresses fit for princesses. Kiran, the owner was welcoming and explained that the dresses could be custom tailored to fit any size and were one of a kind. My friend and I are looking forward to an occasion that we could attend in one of the amazing creations. If I marry, there were many choices for a dress that I find more interesting than many western designs. As I stood outside, I overheard a local woman telling her visiting family that if they are looking for a wedding dress, this was the place to find it. Also beautiful costume jewelry, some that look like antique styles. read more

Worst experience ever! Do not do business with them! They are a total cheat and fraud and lie right in your face! They tell you one thing and do another! They CANNOT be trusted! They still have my merchandise due to their own mistakes and lies and now refuse to credit my credit card account. So I am paying close to $300 for merchandise I don't even have! read more

this is my first and last time buying from Bejee's. They are nice ant first and when it comes to picking your order they will lie to your face. My order was supposed to be ready May 20th and on that day it was NOT ready! After arguing for so long they said they would deliver it by 1pm the next day. The dress came at 2:30 UNFINSHED. the patching was not done on the dupatta, the shameez was not the right size of the shirt nor did it fit the neckline shape of the dress! the work had RUST on the dress and the balls that she attached on the dress as a "favor" to us because our dress was late..fell off. This is the worst part is when the stones on the dupatta fell off they replaced it with metal caps. so now my dupatta looks like a 12 year old fixed it. NEVER take Kiran aunty's word because she lied to us saying our dress would be ready and when she promised it would be delivered the next day the dress was in such bad shape that I am buying a new dress simply because Bejee's failed at their only job. read more

I purchased my wedding dress from Bejees. The quality of the clothing at Bejees is obviously much more superior than the other boutiques on Devon Street. I had asked for the dress to be tailored in 1 month and it was ready for me on the day I had requested. I was very happy with the final product. Kiran aunty is also a wonderful person. Cost at Bejees is higher than other boutiques however the quality is also much better. Highly recommend read more

I just got my reception dress from Beejee Collection. I had already knew which color of dress I want to wear and Beejee exactly had the design which satisfied my needs. Even on the dupata they added golden balls of my choice to complete my wedding wishes. Entire staff is very helpful especially Kiran, Shazia, and Huria who worked with us for hours to complete a bridal set of collection for my special day. Amazing experience and will always come back to them from Virginia for more shopping. This shop has such an amazing collection!!! Many thanks to my sister as well who took me there. read more

Complete fraud! The owner and staff will promise anything you want. They may even promise an identical off of a manikin. However DO NOT fall for the false promise because the outfits do not look anything like it. She even makes you pay up front and does not return it you. Do not pay for the outfit until you have the piece you've ordered in your hands. If you leave the outfit with her for alterations, she will replace the jewels or work with cheaper ones or imitations. Big cheats. read more

My husband and I recently purchased outfits for our son's upcoming wedding at Beejee. As we are non-Indians, Kiran was very helpful in providing guidance on appropriate attire as parents of the groom for our son's marriage to an Indian bride. We both found outfits within our budget that look wonderful. Alterations were needed and were able to be completed in the agreed timeframe. We're very happy with our purchase, and our experience working with Kiran at Beejee was very positive. I would recommend her store for Indian clothing needs. read more

I never ever write reviews because I am not a white person, but I need everyone to know about Bejee Collections in Chicago! I'm from Toronto, but was in Chicago for work before a big trip to India for a friend's wedding so I needed to find a lehenga in my spare time here. A google search sent me to Devon Street. I went to the first store that had the most reviews and had the highest rating, but I found the selection very limited so I left with the promise of coming back if I did not find anything else in the neighbourhood. Bejee Collections was across the street, and it was like I entered a whole new world! I almost walked out because I thought it was just for brides but then Kiran, the store owner, asked if she could help me. 2 hours, probably trying on 10 of the most stunning lehengas ever, plenty of laughs, and chai tea, I finally decided on one. She expedited the tailoring to accommodate my flight back to Toronto, and I have to recommend that you use their tailor if you shop here because the fit after was like it was custom made for my body. There is more to this story, but I ended up buying another lehenga because I misread the wedding week events, and Kiran herself stayed late to do the alterations on it. Come here for designer lehengas and THE best customer experience. read more

I am someone that hates the thought of having to go to Devon and dealing with the business owners there. I hadn't been in almost 20 years when I ended up needing to go pretty last minute for an outfit for my little sisters wedding. My older sister and I were in search of a similar outfit but in different colors. After walking up and down Devon and getting to the point where we just wanted to leave we happen to walk into Bee Jee's as our last attempt. Let me just say that right when you walk in you notice the change in atmosphere and environment from all the other shops. This place is constructed beautifully with gorgeous decor and quality materials. We were approached within seconds of entering and I must say that you will not get anywhere close to this level of customer service and selection anywhere else on Devon! We were thrilled to meet Fatima and Kiran and greatly appreciated their assistance and attention! They were genuinely interested in helping us and wouldn't let us give up. We ended up finding the two most unique and beautiful matching outfits which were altered for us right away and ready to wear within days! Do not waste your time with all the crazy little shops and owners on Devon! Go to the classiest and most elegant place there first and you'll be happy you did! read more
