Very interesting design of the restaurant. It was a little bit hard to find since they didn't have any sign but as soon as you walk pass it, you'll see the beautiful, elegant design of the restaurant and will be impressed. The menu was designed thoughtfully and every dish had an interesting but amazing flavor. We loved the presentation and the thorough explanation by our waiter. The naan was delicious and our favorite. Would love to come back and try their other option if given the opportunity!

Beity offers a delicious taste of Lebanese cuisine. We started with the hummus, pita bread, and fattoush salad. The hummus was perfectly creamy, and the pita was hot and fresh. We ordered the sea bass entrée with a side of rice. The sea bass was submerged in a delicious sauce that complemented it perfectly. I wasn't a huge fan of the raisins in the rice, although I know that's the traditional preparation. The highlight of the meal was the drinks. They were creative and imaginative while still staying true to Lebanese favorites like Arak and sour yogurt. I had the "Laban," and it was pleasantly surprising!

After seeing photos and reading reviews, I was eager to visit Beity. The Lebanese-inspired restaurant has all the promise and presence of a Michelin-quality stop. The charming dining area makes you feel like you've stepped inside a hidden eatery carved into a cave. Our waiter, Bertie, was fantastic and gave us a great recommendation on my drink and shared entree. I ordered the "Day By The Sea," and it encapsulated the name perfectly. The gin base paired nicely with sea salt foam. The Hummus Shattah was beautifully presented and almost too perfect to eat. The pita was delectably airy, yet thick enough to support the hummus. We ordered the Fattoush salad, which was fresh, but lacking any unique character. We were recommended the Samke Harra, which was sea bass for the night. The fish was perfectly cooked and enveloped in a delicious Aleppo sauce. The rice that accompanied the dish was okay but it distracted from the main course, as it had a confusing amount of layers. The cashews provided a nice crunch, but the caramelized onions and raisins made the rice almost too sweet. We ended our meal with the chamomile pudding. It was both aesthetic and delightful. At the price point, you'd expect an unforgettable experience. While the dish and drink presentation is picturesque, the food itself is lacking the "wow" factor.

My friend and I have been talking about trying this place for a long time, and we are SO happy we did. The experience was amazing from the moment we walked in to when we left. Our server, Birdie, gave a well-thought-out breakdown of the menu, and we decided to try the Chef's Journey. There were a total of four courses, and each course had multiple dishes packed with flavor. I absolutely loved the sourdough pita, falafel, muhammara, and chicken farouj. The combination of spices and flavors made everything incredibly delicious. Birdie and the rest of the staff were very attentive throughout the meal. The timing of the courses flowed perfectly, and they even wiped down our table from time to time and replaced our plates and utensils between courses. We also had the Laban cocktail, which was a very pleasant mix of smoky Mezcal and refreshing charred lemon with goat yogurt. We ended our meal with a surprise dessert, a strawberry rhubarb olive oil cake, since we were both celebrating our birthdays. It was a lot of food for two people, and we were able to take home plenty of leftovers! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and will be coming back soon. Huge thank you to everyone at Beity for cultivating such an amazing dine-in experience. The atmosphere, service, and food were exceptional.

Run-- don't walk here! Came here on a Saturday night with a reservation for 7:15- we showed up around 6:45 and they sat us immediately. Birdie our waiter was so sweet and attentive. My friend and I knew were going to do the chefs journey for $85. Let me tell you ! So worth it so much food and delicious bites. No notes. Each course was planned out and timing was good! The inside was gorgeous and perfect for date night. Cocktail was delicious per Birdies recommendation. Will be coming back! FYI a 20% gratuity fee is already included and it was well earned. There is also a 3% employee wellness tip that does appear. This meal was absolutely delicious and we came home with lots of extra food !!!

    Falafel from mezze platter

Obsessed with beity! The space is really lovely. The waitstaff were very friendly and everything came out so quick! I got a dirty martini and it came with a labneh stuffed olive. This olive was so good. To start we got the mezze platter. I highly reccomend this. We had 3 people and it was a great amount. We didn't finish it all. The sourdough pita is warm and incredible. The hummus was my favorite. For mains we did the duck, shish barak and mushrooms. The duck was so good, cooked to perfection. The lamb dumplings were ok. The lamb was really good, I think I would have liked it more if the dumplings were soft they were crispy. The mushrooms were good. The sauce they were in was amazing. The portion of the mushrooms is very small.

Ambience: excellent. Service: BEST part about this place. Food: WOW !!! (Except the dessert). Price. Reasonable for the food. Go for the tasting menu! Bill with two drinks was 295 ish. Easily, would return. Great food and reasonable for the quality!

Service is a bit slow but the food was so worth it. We came in for brunch and every single thing we tried was amazing. Drinks are on the pricier side so heads up! Cute place, very small so make sure you get a reservation!

Loved the hummus, sourdough pita, and cauliflower. Sat at the bar and had a lovely evening taking in the ambiance and chatting with the awesome bartender Gabriel. Cool cocktail selections and good wine.

My fiancé and I ate here a few weeks ago at the bar and had such a lovely time. The bartenders were so nice and recommended some really great dishes shout out to Gabriel and Jessica! Everything we ate was so fresh and delicious. The cocktails were super fun and phenomenal. Gabriel made my fiancé a fun dessert cocktail, which was so delicious. The inside of the restaurant is very vibey and cute. We had just the best time. Highly recommend all of the foods and desserts!

Beity is an absolute gem -- love love love! We came here for brunch and I already can't wait to go back. The standouts: Hummus & Shattah (tahini hummus + serrano shattah) and Smoked Labneh (with honey, pickled veggies, and brown butter) both incredible, especially with their hot, fluffy pita bread. Honestly, the pita alone is worth the trip. Chickpea Fatteh layers of mint garlic yogurt, pine nuts, pita chips, and paprika oil -- rich, comforting, and full of flavor. Falafel wrapped in sourdough pita with harissa tahini and pickled turnips. So fresh and perfectly balanced. Eggs & Awarma the only "just okay" dish for me -- decent, but didn't wow like the others. Drinks were on point too -- the drip coffee was excellent, and the Lychee Noir tea was fragrant and beautiful. Between the cozy vibe, thoughtful dishes, and standout flavors, Beity makes for such a special brunch spot. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be back.

As someone who has lived in Lebanon for several years, I'm always chasing that authentic Lebanese flavor. When I heard about Beity, I had to check it out. The space itself is small but atmospheric, it almost feels like you're dining inside a cave, which I loved. Service started out prompt but slowed down significantly, and it took quite a while for our mains to arrive. Food wise, the kafta hummus was the star of the night, hands down one of the best hummus dishes I've had in the U.S. The cheese zaatar, on the other hand, tasted more like a cheese pizza and didn't really work for me. For mains, the fish was fantastic with unique flavors that stood out, but the lamb chops were a big letdown, they arrived almost cold, dry, and lacking in juiciness. Definitely something I'd avoid ordering again. The spreads at the start are excellent, and the coffee dessert is a must try. Overall though, the experience was mixed. This isn't the same as what you'd get in Lebanon, it's more of a refined, upscale take on it. With prices on the high side, I'm not entirely sure the overall meal justifies the cost. If you go, stick to the spreads, hummus, fish, and dessert, those are worth it.

I stumbled across this place as I was walking down Fulton Market. This is a hidden gem with extremely high quality food and drinks. The service is very good and the bar staff will make you anything you want but I recommend sticking with the cocktail menu as they are artfully made and taste even better. We had the hummus and pita and it was the best I have ever had. So fresh and delicious!! I think I will come back here for a quick drink and apps Who would have thought Lebanon food can be so good!

Suda is one of my favorite Mediterranean Restaurants in Chicago. Even though it is pricey, I…read morerecommend it as I enjoy some of the dishes a lot. First-Their free bread is served hot and fresh, and the sauces they come with are so flavorful! I will always get seconds because they're just that good. -Their Baba Ghanoush was one of the best Baba Ghanoush I have ever had (I don't say this lightly). It was very smokey and savory. The pomegranate on top perfectly complements it. -Arnibit (Cauliflower): People like this one a lot, but I personally think it's just the presentation that is appetizing. It tasted like a regular cauliflower, and I wished the sauce complemented and infiltrated the cauliflower more. It felt like I was eating two separate things. -Mixed Grill: the chicken and the beef were juicy and well made. The kefta was the star. It was soft and so well seasoned, and every time I order it I wish we could have more. My only comment would be that we wish the portions are bigger, considering the price was pretty expensive. This could only fill one person in my opinion. Nevertheless I love it. They also have very specific and unique dishes that you don't normally see at bigger restaurants. We have tried some before and they were not bad (but again just wished the portions were bigger) Overall we recommend this place. Baba Ghanoush and the Kefta are musts!
