I found this place while searching on Yelp. I ordered a shrimp and lobster sauce lunch combo with pork fried rice. It was good. It wasn't the best I've had, but flavors were definitely there. There was also 5 (maybe 6) jumbo shrimp. It was very filling. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. My order was ready in under 10 minutes. Lunch special cost $11 including tax. Fried rice was overcooked and obviously reheated, most yellow-looking fried rice I've ever seen, it was strange even why my chow fun came with rice. Beef chow fun was ok, but my friend's chicken chow mien fun was bland and the egg-drop soup looked weirdly yellow too. Maybe the yellowness of the soups and rice reflects not clean cooking supplies? Pleasently surprised. Ordered wonton soup, sesame chicken combo and dieters delight steamed chicken with broccoli and snow peas. Service was great. This was my first time ordering at this kitchen, and I was totally disappointed! I ordered a favorite....sweet and sour chicken. I usually order this selection at various places. They usually all taste the same....nothing different. However, I feel that even though the portion size was great, the chicken was way too hard! It was tough to eat, and dipping it in sauce did not help because the chicken wasn't tender enough. The sauce needed more flavor, and the white rice was a bit sticky. For the price I paid, it wasn't worth it! I wouldn't be surprised if they gave me left overs from the night before because that's the way it tasted! You guys need to do better than this! Ordered through door dash. Vegetable chow mein was a tub of steamed vegetables and a 1/2 pint of white rice. Doesn't chow mein come with noodles? Want some egg foo young? Can't get it, only comes with soup and white or fried rice. I wanted both rices so I added pork fried rice, for $6 thinking it was an add on and not instead of what was supposed to be included. My wife prefers white. Sorry honey, no white rice and no soup that we didn't want in the first place. Door dash refunded $7 but we're still hungry. The standing area is pretty clean. In case you didn't know you generally gauge the cleanliness of the kitchen to the standing area. Beijing Kitchen is a solid in their offerings. The place was good when we left 3 years ago and it's just as good now. We had the Chicken W/ peanuts and spicy brown sauce. Generous portion of chicken and tasty sauce. I went with the spicy Shredded Beef. Same deal good amount of meat and super tasty sauce. Egg rolls are really crispy and the Cheese Wontons never disappoint. This place isn't the same. From 2003 to about 2014ish, this was my families go to spot for Chinese food, but now it's just not as good. Food is just smothered in sauce, to the point where it's overbearing. The fried rice was overcooked, and the soup is super salty. Best chinese food I have ever had! The boneless ribs were tender and not too chewy with a delicious smoke flavor and a hint of crisp. The Pork fried rice has good size chunks of pork with peas and onions. The sweet and pungent chicken was just a tad over cooked but loved that it was actually solid white meat chicken. This is my wife and her family's "go to" place for Chinese take out. I have eaten it several times throughout the years and have never been disappointed. They have all the classics here. This place is either really good or really crapy. I think it depends how they feel like cooking. One time i got egg rolls that were perfect and then other days when im really in the mood for a good egg roll, They send greasy egg rolls that taste like old cooking oil. One time i got almond cookies and it tasted like they were baked with cheap lard or shortening . I think they loose alot of customers that way read more

Compared to anything available in Miami this place gets 5 stars.. However I used to work in the deli beside it and its a little on the dirtier side. Excellent food and they deliver, can't beat that combination! The soups are delicious, and we've had the wonton, egg drop and the vegetable tofu. The roast pork with mushrooms is consistently good. Never a fatty piece of pork, which is so important. Add brown rice if you'd prefer that over the white rice. They even gave us two cans of ginger ale with our order, and it was not a huge order this time. Lucky to have Beijing Kitchen in our neighborhood. Highly recommended. read more
