A hidden gem! I've wanted to try this place for a while but yesterday was the day. This restaurant is open on a Sunday! I got the kung pao beef in the deluxe order that included fried rice, the choice of crab Rangoon or egg roll, and egg drop soup or hot and sour soup with a beverage! Amazing deal for right around $15

First time eating here and my last! The place looked dirty and questionable. The employees didn't even acknowledge my presence while waiting to get my order. I asked for ALL WHITE MEAT so they charged me extra. I didn't mind paying extra but once I received my entree majority of it was all dark meat. I informed them of the issue and they said they would not get that wrong. I no even offered to show them and they still didn't believe me. Food was gross, employees rude and can't get orders right and place wasn't clean.

It had been a while since we ate here but we wanted some Chinese we knew we liked instead of trying somewhere new. We got delivery. The food was hot when it got here. I usually order the Kung Pao Chicken (which is delicious) but decided to try the Jalapeno Chicken tonight. I got the deluxe combo that comes with egg roll, rice, soup, and a drink. I upgraded the veggie fried rice. The rice was great, tons of veggies and the perfect amount of egg. The Jalapeno Chicken was good but not very spicy. The Hot and Sour soup was ok but not great. It was pretty sweet which I'm not a fan of. I'll try egg drop next time. The egg roll was good but nothing special. My husband got the General Tso's which he loves. If you're in the mood for good, classic Chinese food you can't go wrong here.

The food and prices are excellent. All the standard items you like. The service is excellent. The inside is definitely the most Chinese in San Antonio. It's very nice. The outside has fish in tanks very peaceful. Some Chinese music would take it over the top because the interior is so authentic.

Now I have had my fair share of bad Chinese food in both Texas and San Antonio, but the level of badness reached a new low with Beijing Restaurant at 13730 Embassy Row. I give you the address because I want there to be no mistakes about where this place is, and if you go, it is your fault. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Deluxe and the Chicken and Broccoli. What I got was an MSG overloaded dish. The first thing I taste is the chemicals used to preserve the meat. And don't get me started on the texture. My wife and I couldn't get past one bite of each dish as both also left horrible aftertastes in our mouths. The only redeeming thing about the meal was the two fortune cookies and egg rolls. But $22.19 is a lot for two egg rolls and two fortune cookies. Do yourself a favor; just go to Panda Express instead.

    Picnic tables and lanterns.

We are waiting to go to a movie at Santikos Embassy 14 and spotted this Chinese restaurant almost in their parking lot. A nice atmosphere with Carlos providing friendly and attentive service. Food came out quickly and it was really good! They have a nice outdoor patio area as well.

Order sitting in the window for 10 minutes with no one to help.

Visited Sunday, 3/12/23 at 2:55 PM First of all, my food waited in drive thru window for 10 minutes and no one came to cash me out. Then a Girl (purple nails and bad attitude) wipes her nose/face with the front of her hand and then tries to hand me my food right after. Very unprofessional and disgusting.

The portion sizes were very good - as you can see by the pictures. I ordered the spicy combo, and ordered it extra spicy - maybe a language barrier, but I think they took the spice away as it had no heat at all. The chicken portions were HUGE and the bowl of soup was plenty large for four people to share. Will definitely be back!!

We tried some new-to-us dishes recently and generally found them to be very good. Orange Chicken was not overly battered, big chunks of white chicken meat, not too saucy and just a hint of spice. Real orange peel, too, which makes all the difference! We also ordered the Spicy Combination with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Carrots, peppers, bamboo in the dish provided a bit of veggie balance. Not our most favorite, but still very good. As per usual, we started with steamed dumplings and crab puffs; DH added a cup of egg drop soup- this place serves his favorite egg drop soup. Everything was delicious. I always ask for chili oil for that extra added kick! I do wish that the dishes labeled "spicy" were actually spicy. They really aren't spicy at all. Don't let the little pepper symbol deter you. Always clean, always prompt, always good!

The staff is super friendly and courteous :) ! We usually order the beef vermicelli soup, and a variety of dumplings :D ! They serve our food pretty promptly, with the soup still hot and tasty, and the dumplings steamy and savory :D ! My sister doesn't eat pork. So she typically orders dumplings that don't contain pork. I eat all kinds of meat. So I always order the pork and chive dumplings :D ! Whether you come in on a weekday or weekend, it always helps to come early if you can! If we want to go there for lunch, we try to get there as close to 11 am as possible when they first open. As it gets closer to 12 noon, it starts to get really busy, and it's harder and trickier for the staff to seat you. There is both booth and table seating. It's a great restaurant to catch up with friends, family or even colleagues over a good meal :) ! The parking lot out in front is a pretty decent size. But it can fill up pretty quickly when it gets busy! We also love ordering frozen dumplings to go :D ! For sure, we will definitely come back :D ! Kung Fu Noodle never disappoints :) !

I got the beef noodle soup with pork and chive steamed dumplings combination that comes with tea or soda. With tax, this is all under $20. Staff was friendlier than other places that are asian own:). Casual place to eat with friends for great bowl of noodles and dumplings! I would come back to try other items off their menu. It's been about a year or so since we've been coming here fairly regularly and I really cannot complain about anything specific. Most meals are excellent with a I miss now and then, but overall, I would never complain about that. The price of their meals seem to be stuck in a world without crazy tyrant leaders, and inflation out the roof, though I don't know for how much longer that will remain. Wah Kee! We noticed the decor had changed (yes, I said it had been many years) and it was quite nice! We were seated promptly and placed our drink order (tea came with lunch). We ordered Rangoon as a starter. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.
