Disappointed. Nice people behind the counter but the food was not good. Didn't taste fresh...like it had all been previously frozen.

The general Taos chicken was really good. It had a solid flavor with some good spice and was a great chicken to breading ratio. The pork fried rice was also great. Lots of pork and a good flavor to the rice with some decent veggies too. The ribs were fine...nothing special, but not bad. The krab Rangoon was...also fine...needed some sauce and some krab in it...I hate egg rolls though so this is better. The only thing that really dropped the ball for me was the wonton soup. The wontons themselves are sort of extra wet (the skin) and the broth was pretty tasteless, there also wasn't anything in it other than a few scallions...I wouldn't bother to get this again. read more

4/23 was the last straw for me with this place. The first incident was a year ago when I ordered delivery from this place and their driver (not DoorDash or Uber Eats) would not leave my door step without a tip complaining that "well the gas and the car repairs" so he needed a tip as if I'm obligated to do so. I vowed to never order from them again, but I gave them a second chance today, and they failed AGAIN!! I ordered and was told I had to pay by card over the phone, which I was fine with. My card was charged, but the lady said the charge didn't go through. After going back and forth with her that my card WAS charged, I ended the call and called my bank to have them reject the charge and issue me a new card, AANNDD block this restaurant from ever being charged again. If I could rate this a 0 stars, I would. Poor customer service, no dignity, and absolutely no respect. Will be contacting the Better Business Bureau about this restaurant as well. read more

Granted, I ordered my meal through UberEats, the food was still hot when delivered. No complaints there. My biggest complaint is the taste. I ordered beef and broccoli and the only way to describe the meat is...it tastes the way a wet dog smells. I don't know if the meat was going bad or what but I could not get down more than 3 small bites. The sauce had almost zero flavor. It was a waste of $12. My husband had the Mongolian beef and again, to me, the meat again, tasted the way a wet dog smells but not nearly as bad as the beef and broccoli. Don't market this as hot and spicy, it's mild and bland. The eggroll tasted off as well, crunchy but not really edible. The Rangoons were just sweetened cream cheese, again, not enjoyable. The only real enjoyable part of the meal was the rice and even that was bland...not enough duck sauce to make it better. The food at Golden Dragon Express is surprisingly good. They are quick in getting the orders out. This is not a sit down restaurant (hence the Express in the name) but convenient if picking up or eating in the car. Please Note: They have a minimum amount to run on card. On one day I ordered over the phone 2 hot oils for 2 dishes. They charge for hot oil, even if ordering entrees. When I came to pick up order I double checked the accuracy of the order by opening up the tied bag. I realized they "didn't include them in order." I asked if they charged me they said "no". Since he already ran my card he would not run the card for $1 for the hot oils, said "cash only." He should have just included it because it was their mistake. I haven't been back since. If you can get over bad service if you have an issue, the food is actually pretty good. read more

They have very tasty food and the value is insane! You get plenty enough food to have leftovers for later and or the next day. I love their sesame chicken and rangoons, I'm not big on their egg rolls though. That are tasty but not very crunchy in my opinion. I asked for food by a certain time and everything was ready on time and meticulously wrapped and packaged to avoid spilling in transit. The beef was super chewy and couldn't swallow it. What I also didn't like was their wasn't a variety of spice level to choose from. The sesame chicken is sweet, and not too hard or soft. I like the flavor of the sauce. The place loses a star because I had ordered Pork fried rice, and received regular fried rice. That attention to detail can make or break a place, hope they fix it. Other than that, I think I'll give this place a go again. This time I'll eat there so I can try their egg drop soup and pork fried rice. I had the Lemongrass chicken and fried rice and my daughter had the Beef and Broccoli with fried rice and egg rolls. Literally everything tasted awful, bland and the egg rolls tasted sour..the Beef and Broccoli's sauce was kinda thick and chunky looking.
