Alex is great at what she does…read more I have been coming to Girl from Ipanema In Summit for a little over a year now. My experience has always been great My daughter recommended it to me, as I was newbie to Brazilian waxing. I will never go back to shaving, and I will always be a loyal patron at this location. The service is always quick, and semi- painless or at least tolerable if you follow the recommendations, (don't wait too long in between treatments for hair to grow back to long) it's affordable, very clean facility and super friendly staff. Alex takes great care to make sure you are bikini or lingerie ready all year long. Don't delay...Book your appointment today. Shelita C. Newark, NJ

My friend and I went for spray tans here. There was a literal child behind the reception desk, a…read moreyoung boy (I'm not joking; I don't know where the adults were). Needless to say, he couldn't find our appointments. He managed to squeeze us in, apparently by giving us some other woman's timeslot bc she showed up pitching a fit during our sprays. We asked where to go for the service. And instead of going behind reception to the salon rooms, we were sent back out the door to the salon, up a few flights of stairs inside an old apartment building. When we got to the piles of black garbage bags stacked in the hallway, the door to the spray room was to the right. There's a tiny, shabby waiting room, if you can call it that, and a janky storage room/janitor closet. Plus, the woman getting sprayed had left her stuff all over the one chair, open handbag and everything. The tan itself didn't really look like much, except on my face, which was really dark. But everywhere else you couldn't really notice it. So, nope. Would not recommend. PS: If this review convinces you to go here, be prepared to get totally nay-nay except for disposable paper undies.

She makes you feel super comfortable even in the most awkward positions. 3. She does everything possible to make sure you're not in any pain.... even Brazilian Waxes. Jenny is my go to girl. I am super sensitive and get horrible in-growns which make the whole Brazilian Wax experience ten times worse (and it's already bad to begin with), but I know Jenny will always take care of me and makes me laugh to distract me! While I do think some services are overpriced, do yourself a favor and book with Jenny, you won't regret it!

If you care about your eyebrows you NEED to come here!…read more My eyebrows were waxed elsewhere incorrectly about a year ago and I ended up with eyebrows that looked like they belonged on different faces.... completely mismatched shapes. I thought I found a decent place to help me grow them out, but after 7 months I saw no progress. That place cancelled on me last minute this week and left me in a scramble before a wedding, so I decided to call Bellissima based on the reviews. I called and they immediately squeezed me in for an appointment with Renata the same day. She truly knows what she is doing and measures your brows, draws them out, discusses shaping with you and takes her time perfecting them. After just one wax, my eyebrows already look 100x better... and like they belong on the same face! (literally cried tears of joy after my appointment, lol). So happy to have found my new place. Renata, THANK YOU!!!!

Now the reason why they lost 3 stars. I went there for a Brazilian wax. During the session, even though I paid for a Brazilian, she kept trying to get me to do a bikini wax instead (maybe less work for her?) and I had to refuse multiple times. After the appointment, and when I was about to leave, she said she would charge me an extra $15 because my hair was coarse and she did the back (which is what a Brazilian is). For me it is the principle of things and the way she went about it. She never mentioned it or said anything during the wax and waited till I was about to leave. I was very upset with that.
