We dropped by for their Sept 15-28th Promo, $10 Noodles They offer a good variety of Ramen and Mazemen (dry noodles). You get 1oz of roast beef and 150g noodles We waited for 15 minutes for a table (they don't offer high chair or booster). They do have plastic cutlery and bowls for children to use We got the Shoyu Ramen and Creamy Mazemen The Ramen came with a rich Shoyu broth, but some noodles were clumped together and smelled heavy on the sodium bicarbonate. The Creamy Mazemen was rich and cheesy. The beef broth on the side was rich and beefy. We had this several times before. The 1oz beef slices was very minimal so you can't opt for more meat. I am a bronze member (free membership) so I can upgrade to extra 50g extra noodles and soft serve but you must tell them when you order so they get your phone number. Unfortunately they were out of soft serve today. The noodle dishes came out quickly

I've been wanting to come here for years and finally went for their $10 ramen/mazemen special! We were looking forward to trying their ramen but when we got there, they ran out of ramen broth so we had to get the mazemen instead. We tried the smokey miso and creamy mazemens. Both were super tasty but we preferred the smokey miso more because of the complexities of the flavours! Would definitely come back again to they their ramen!

Was pleasantly surprised by the tomato ramen! Broth was a cheesy, rich tomato broth (reminded me of pasta), with chewy noodles and their signature roast beef. The beef was tender and they have significantly improved since I first tried it when they first opened. My partner got the mazemen and it was flavourful and beef tender as well! Service was also friendly

Stopped by for their $10 promotion. DELICIOUS. Service was amazing, special shout out to Hayden who was super informative, offered her recommendation and now I trust her for my future orders! She offered great customer service! Will be back for her!

Finally tried this much hyped place... Their claim to fame is their marinated beef! So i inquired...marinated with what? Was told...salt and pepper! Well, that made sense cause there was literally nothing special about the beef. Its soft and tender as expected, but no japanese umaminess. I tried the shio beef ramen...yes the noodles were cooked perfectly but the broth came a bit under temp. Weak flavours. It wasnt pipping hot like a true ramen place. The essence of the broth too was weak. Wasn't that impressed. Dnt know what the hype is about. To me, its an average ramen place. I can think of 3 other places which are way better but cheaper. Its nothing but overpriced ramen on robson st lol. The table side garlic chips were a nice touch, but thats about it. Having sesame oil and vinegar so liven up your broth, sure, but those things kill the broth. I want to taste the essen of the ramen...and that is the broth! I will not be repeating. May other way better places. Cheers! Happy eating! Service was quick and place was nice and clean and bright. A lot of upselling too for more beef. But there is nothing special about the beef. At least use beef bones to make the ramen. Lol.

We came on a Thursday at 11:45am. I ordered the shio mazemen. We got the smallest portion and I felt like it was just enough. The beef I felt like could have been more tender and more flavourful. It was a bit too chewy for me. The noodles were just cooked to al dente. I liked that there were garlic chips at the table for you to add and also Chilli oil. The garlic chips could have been crisper. Felt like the whole thing was a bit dry as the beef was dry and so were the noodles. The noodles come with a side bowl of soup for you to drink Overall for the price and location I think it's an okay option but it wouldn't be my number one option for Ramen. If you are looking for something different then it's worth a try

First time dining at Beest but certainly won't be the last time. The broth is incredibly flavourful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The standard portion of beef is 2oz, which was perfect for me, but for those with a heartier appetite, you can add extra beef. There is also an option to upgrade to Wagyu. I might try on a future visit but today's meal was really delicious so I'd be tempted to order again in future. Service was friendly and courteous - really enjoyed the way they asked if it was my first time and to let them know if I had any questions. The menu was a little confusing at first, so I did have a few questions, and they quickly explained what was what. The ambiance was very calm, but restaurant was pretty quiet when I arrived just after 2pm on a Saturday. I've walked past in the evening and seen it very lively and busy. Definitely worth checking out!

Seen it on TikTok and thought it looked good. The staff was very nice and the ambiance was cute with hip music but the food was just okay. I got the Spicy Miso and my friend got the Creamy Beef (broth was on the side)

It's a super beefy ramen restaurant. If people love beef and ramen, they should come and try their beef ramen here. Broth has a very strong beef flavour. Ramen is chewy. The portion of beef is decent. I would recommend adding more noodles as the standard one might not be enough for someone who eats a lot. I gave my phone number to the restaurant; so I could collect points. I got free upgrade of 200g noodles and a free icecream at the end of the meal. Loves them all!! I wouldn't mention what I ate or ordered. You can see them on the attached photos. It's hard to find parking in downtown. Highly recommended to take public transit to get here.

3.5 stars, because the price point felt on the high side even after accounting for location, ingredients and ambience. Pretty restaurant that was not busy when we arrived as we were trying to stick to our time zone at home as much as possible. This is a clean, spacious feeling restaurant with simple but lovely touches. They specialize in beef ramen, including dry ramen. We both ordered the beef ramen which came with a side of broth to be sipped and not poured over the ramen. The ramen as beautifully presented, rare, and was very delicious. I really enjoyed the yuzu drink.

I've been wanting to try Beest for some time and finally got to go on a weekday evening. I ended up getting the beef ramen and also signed up for their reward program and also got a free ice cream. The beef ramen was pretty delicious and I thought the broth was quite flavorful. I did think the portion sizes were a bit small for the price. The ice cream was definitely nothing special and was pretty much something I could get from the grocery store. Overall would recommend to try at least once .

We came here for a Winnie the Pooh Afternoon Tea. Oh my goodness...it far exceeded my expectations!…read moreHats off to the kitchen staff for coming up with such a creative and whimsical afternoon tea. First thing that caught my eye was the cover of the afternoon tea menu. It was red with a picture of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin printed upon it in a shiny gold colour. When flipped over, it had the menu for the afternoon tea printed upon it. I was super impressed that they even had a separate menu printed for Vegetarians. (I opted for a Vegetarian menu). There was a cute little ceramic jar that was shaped like a Honey pot, and it had sugar cubes in it! Then there was this booklet that was pages long, and divided into Chapters. It was basically the menu again, but in the form of a small book. Each Chapter of the book described different foods from the afternoon tea. The last chapter listed all the different tea flavors one could choose. When we sat down and read this menu, I heard more than one person at the table say that they wanted to take this menu home. Guess what? For the price of $25, one could take this menu home as a memento of this extraordinary afternoon tea? Maybe I'm a bit of a sucker, but how often does one get to go to an afternoon tea as special as this? And I've always been a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh. So I coughed up the $25 and brought one of these menus home with us! Food was sooo good. I loved how warm the scone was when I cut it open. This was one of my favourite items. The sandwiches were amongst my favourites as well. As phenomenal as the experience was, I do think there are a few things which could have improved the experience. For one, a bit more service would have been appreciated. I had to wave my hand in the air to get our server's attention so that I could ask her to refill our tea pots with more hot water. Would have been nice if she'd just come around a bit more often and offered to top it up for us. Tea cozies on our tea pots might have been another improvement. A lot of my tea cooled down by the time I got to it. I like my tea hot but I didn't get in very many cups of hot tea as there was a lot of food to eat and by the time I was ready to pour myself some tea to wash down my food, the tea was...not so hot anymore. Oh, and while most of the food was appropriately sized, there was this one chocolate cookie sandwich that was really gigantic and suggested to be eaten last. We were so full already from all the other foods in the afternoon tea, and then to squeeze that giant cookie sandwich in...right at the end? A smaller and daintier cookie sandwich would have been preferred. It was overall a truly phenomenal experience. Yes, I do think it could have been slightly better, but I do emphasize the word "slightly". The points lost were so minor...I would still highly recommend this afternoon tea to anyone. It was well worth the money. It's offered every weekend for now but not sure how long they'll keep this around so if you're interested in a Winnie the Pooh themed afternoon tea, I'd make a reservation for it ASAP!

We sat indoors with the option to be seated outdoors with heated lamps but we didn't want to smell the smoke from people smoking outside. We ordered the Dark Spell Latte, Albedo Spritz, and Final Word. The Dark Spell Latte is like an espresso martini with chocolate syrup added, which is pretty solid. The Albedo Spritz is a red wine cocktail with hard liquor, and stood out to me as they had 5oz of alcohol so this was fairly strong, but I would imagine most of the ounces came from the wine itself. I liked the gold dusted blackberry. The Final Word is fruity and smoky, which I enjoyed, but not warrant a hefty price tag compared to the other drinks. Service is decent and in line with other restaurant bars. Overall, solid drinks at okay prices that I can see myself recommending this spot. Given the name, it would be great to see more alchemy themed cocktails or decor as what draws me as a frequent bar goer is themed and unique drinks.
