My boyfriend and I come to Beercade 2 all the time, so I can't believe I'm just now writing a review! We love it here--the beer selection is always amazing, with something new to try every time. It's also one of our go-to date night spots because it's just so much fun with all the arcade games. They definitely have some of our favorites, and we always have a great time playing games and trying different beers. The bartenders are always nice and helpful, which makes the experience even better. We usually visit earlier in the night when it's not too busy, so I can't speak for how packed it gets later on. But overall, this place has a great vibe, and we'll definitely keep coming back!

Always a good time here! Huge bar with lots of seating, and even more games. Any game you can think of. Great for single players or group games. Classic and new. All for a couple quarters! Drink prices are decent too. This is a great place to go with friends or meet new friends. They have lots of events and game nights as well. Fun place to hang out

I had a great time at Beercade 2. The layout and wall art / details are so well done. There is an awesome selection of a variety of pinball machines. I saw. A few I haven't seen at some other similar places I've visited. There's also plenty of classic, recognizable arcade games. There was one that ate my quarters, but all others were in good working condition. I did not have much interaction as far as service, since I just ordered one beer. I believe there are around 25 beers on tap. There's a solid selection of different types of beer. I would visit again if I'm in the area and recommend for both beer and game lovers.

Great selection of drinks, knowledgeable staff, and great variety of gaming options! Want very crowded or rowdy at all which I appreciated.

We always love checking out arcades when we travel so we have been here a couple times as part of our stays in Omaha. Pinball is our favorite so it is great they have a large selection for about 50cents/play. But they have other games like classic video games, shooting games, and skee ball. Decor is on theme with video game look. They also have a wide variety of craft beers on tap and domestic in cans. They have full bar if you want a shot or mixed drink.

I had not been to Beercade 2 yet (been to the OG Beercade in Benson only), until they held a Simpsons trivia that I and a group of friends attended. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to say the least! Beercade 2 is located in the Little Bohemia neighborhood, which is so neat to begin with. But when you walk into Beercade 2, your nerd heart will do a little dance with all the cool games and theming. The bar has a really awesome tile backsplash in a Mario theme, with the Beercade 2 name on it. There are wooden picnic table style tables at the front, and those fill up pretty fast when they're busy. They have booths more toward the back that look like arcade cabinets, but with leather seats and tables in the middle of them (and not wires and electronics like an actual arcade game LOL). There are murals above the wall of arcade games that feature several recognizable video game characters. Even the bathrooms are game themed, with Princess Zelda in tile at the women's restroom entrance and Link at the men's entrance. We were there around Christmas time and they also had gone all out decorating for the holidays, with icicles hanging everywhere and colorful string lights hung all round the bar. Aside from just being in the theming, they also have all the classic games for playing too. Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam, Space Invaders, Tetris, and more. They also have other style games like several pinball machines, Big Buck Hunter, DDR, and Skeeball (my fav!) The arcade games do operate the classic way - on quarters! But they do have a quarter machine on site, so don't worry about bringing your coin purse here. Their drinks are also on point, with about 30 rotating taps to choose from for beer. And if you're not a fan of beer, they also can do many mixed drinks. They don't serve food, but you're allowed to bring your own in (just no drinks, since they're a bar). Fizzy's is right across the street, so that's a no-brainer. Beercade 2 is an excellent counterpart to their Benson brother, and I highly recommend giving the newer Beercade family member a try!

What a cool place. There's old school arcade games, a well stocked bar full of tasty beers and assorted adult beverages, a super cool staff and a bumpin' late night soundtrack. It's simple and it's fun.

Such a big fan of either Beercade location. This one is nice because it has a much more of an open concept, great for large parties. Has a ton of great games to play by yourself or as a group. One of my favorite things to do in Omaha! Also nice that they will give you quarters to play games and add it to your tab instead of having to go to an ATM.

Had a great time with my sister - she came in from town from Hawaii. We ordered a few shots, a beer, and a soda, then played about $35 worth of games and spent $5 on stickers. Overall had an amazing night with the pin ball games and retro games, there was only one game that didn't end up working for me (forget which one) but every other one worked great! 10/10 recommend if you wanna have a chill fun time with some fun pinball games and others!

Fun atmosphere! Visiting from out of town, I stopped by here after a nearby comedy show. It was a Thursday night, so I can't speak to the weekend volume, but there were only a few people present. There's a nice selection of games and the bar service seems solid with a great beer selection.

Beercade 2, unlike it's counterpart Beercade 1, isn't all its cracked up to be. After visiting Beercade 1 we expected friendly service, great drinks and fun times. Unfortunately, the only similarity are the games. The unfriendly bartenders really brought the mood down for us. If you are headed out to play games and not worry about the atmosphere, you will have a ball here. If not, head over to Beercade 1 for better service with a smile. Happy playing Yelpers!

Is it better than the original? Maybe? They're certainly equivalent in terms of awesomeness as far as I'm concerned. Good selection of games, beers, and relatively the same type and "busyness" during peak hours as far as I can tell. Also probably equidistant from my home, though it's possible we end up at this one more these days? (Not that it matters). All this is to say that while it's not the o.g. Beercade 1... it's still a great experience in my book any day!

Super fun place, lots of arcade games and a nice beer selection. Family friendly until 7pm, lots of fun for everyone. Love the concept and hard not to have a great time here. The bartender was so busy when we went, working alone on a busy Saturday afternoon, but he was great. The inside is really cool with booths made to look like arcade cabinets and a variety of seating options.

One of the booths - arcade fans fear not - no games were sacrificed to make these seating areas

Decided to give this place a try to see what the arcade room is all about…read more The place was clean and spacious, and my kid did have fun, but compared to Dave and Buster's, this place is just not worth it. You can find most of these games at Dave and Busters. The way their point system for games is set up is weird. Let's say a game is 1.5 points--that means they are taking $1.50 from your game card. Many games were 1.5 points, but there were quite a few that went up to 4. So paying $4 to play one game is outrageous and a rip-off, to say the least. At Dave and Buster's, they have a much better system, and your dollar goes a long way compared to this place. Also, some of the claw machines weren't working properly. People would win a toy, but the door wouldn't open to retrieve it. The staff was walking around, and I let them know. They said they were going to get someone, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. I then decided to go find someone working at the shop, and she helped right away. Maybe we will come back and try the bowling and food, but when it comes to the arcade unfortunately we won't be back for that.

I did not enjoy this place at all. I was entertaining a friend from out of town and we were having…read morea hard time finding things to do with it being the holidays. So when we stumbled on this place we thought oh great let's go bowling. Since it was Tuesday it was 50% off bowling and it's misleading how it says that. 50% off all day bowling. And when you go to check in it's like 1 hour for two people the price drops down to something like $18.95 + $5.95 for each shoe rental. Which I know it's been awhile since I've been bowling but that seemed awfully high priced. We went to look and see if there were any open lanes and one line was open so we went to check in. I'm not going to lie I told my friend I didn't want to stay and do it that I thought that was way too much, but we put our name in cuz they said it'd be about 45 minutes which it was and then as a side note I was irritated to see that the lane we were assigned was the one that we saw was empty when we checked it out. We played games to fill our time which one I reflect on this whole experience I kind of wonder if that wasn't just a play to get people to spend more money there. It's very confusing on ordering and getting drinks and it's also really frustrating because if I had to realized that you needed to go to the bar to get drinks, I would have definitely had my drink before our hour began. The shoes didn't fit right which is frustrating when you figure you're paying essentially $6 to rent them for an hour! They also didn't connect right on the floor it felt like they kept stopping my movement there was something that didn't work with the floor in the shoes - I honestly kept feeling like I was going to hurt myself if I tried to bowl like I know how to walk up and throw a ball. I know part of that is me and it's been a few years since I've been bowling but I do know how to approach the alley and throw a ball but I did not feel safe. The balls are frustrating too there's no real variety of holes or sizes - all of the 12 lb bowls have the same size finger holes. This was true for all the balls which I'm sure makes it easier for them financially to bulk buy, just makes it less the user friendly.

I found a couple new-to-me, limited release games for my older console. They've also got bunches still in storage, so if you're looking for something specific, just ask! The owners are currently remodeling and expanding into the space next door, with plans to expand their in-store gaming space. It's going to be amazing! There are bunches of other gaming products and accessories to complement both gaming (like controllers, guitars, mics, etc.) and the gaming lifestyle (like mugs, pins, graphic novels, etc.). I'll be back to look for gifts for my gaming family. My eldest bonus boy was excited to see how good a deal was at the Pokémon Trading Card Post. All of the kids found something to call their own. ^_^b Oh, and it isn't for sale, but the collection of Poké Balls from the 1999 Burger King kids' meals at the front desk is so cool!! The complete set!! XD There are a few other things like that sprinkled in the store. Just a joy to see them and enjoy them for a moment. Another thing that isn't for sale--the owners! They are a treasure to speak with, and so knowledgeable about the gamers' universe. My kids were delighted to find ready conversation with them about a bunch of gaming things I didn't fully grok. And I found their expertise deeply fascinating and engaging, as well. All in all, this place is true to its name--The Gamers Oasis. A place where you can relax, sink into a world of gaming for a while, and come away refreshed and powered up for the real-life play outside. 10/10
