We found this gem after checking into the airport hotel in Long Island. It was convenient from the hotel. We had a wonderful meal and would go back again and again if we lived in Long Island.

Every place in New York I have tried has disappointed me but not Beenz. Their naan is more exceptional than most of the restaurants in India. I was accompanied by an Indian friend who was mind blown after having the first bite. The chicken makhni is the best main course, must try.

Beenz has excellent food, an amazing atmosphere, a wonderful, friendly, and attentive service. Beenz is a perfect gem of a place with warm hospitality. We will patronize again. Loved it

The food here was very good. We started of with samosas. For our entrees we had Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo, and Saag Paneer. All dishes were great. The portions weren't huge. The service was great. The interior was very nice.

I have to say... took a gamble coming here on a what appeared to be a very strange night... A Saturday night in Hauppauge/Commack area. Restaurants are jumping. This is across the street from Patrizias and they were packed. This restaurant had 1 other person in it and large parking lot empty. I panicked, read reviews and said "seems good to me". The place is really nice. Obviously a take over from another type of place however long ago, but very nice and clean. My friend and I sat in the open atrium. We were greeted by a sweet waitress who was very kind and helpful. Then, the owner it manager came over and talked to us and helped us by offering samples of beer to pair with the food we were ordering. GREAT JOB!!!! Well, the food was authentic and FANTASTIC. My buddy and I were there for 3 hours. The seating was so comfortable and we were made to feel at home. Couldn't even notice nobody was there. We had the best Indian food and I have already recommended to many! Can't wait to go back.

I would say this restaurant is a hidden gem. It's situated in a plaza on motor parkway. Inside is very pretty with changing light strips on the ceiling. I particularly liked the picture of Ny on the wall. Adi was our server and well versed with the menu items also gave us a nice idea of trying something new. He was very attentive. The chicken vindaloo was delicious. We had eggplant and saag paneer also. The bread basket was fresh and delicious, I requested more garlic naan, couldn't help myself. We tried the Indian beers which was cold and refreshing. The mango lassi was tart very slightly sweet. The Califlower Gobi Manchurian was absolutely delicious! I could've eaten that all day ( takeout may suffice). There was nothing on my plate that I did not enjoy or rather devour. I would definitely go back. Great service , food, environment and friendliness.

I absolutely love spicy food, and they definitely bring the heat without sacrificing the flavor. The chicken is delicious and the dish is always so satisfying. They are definitely on the pricier side, but honestly, it's so worth it. I'll keep coming back for that vindaloo!

Despite the casual setting, they include some lovely touches like heavy copper pitchers & glasses for water, sleek individual LED lights at each table, a few beautiful Indian-style hanging mosaic lamps from the ceiling, & fantastic background Bollywood music playing (for example, "Tere Naina" from My Name Is Khan). It's also always a great sign when you see local Indian folks eating here too. The staff is exceptionally pleasant & attentive, & it's fantastic that they offer dedicated, separate vegetarian & vegan menus alongside their traditional meat offerings. The food was fantastic across the board. The Dahi Puri was creamy, tangy, & crunchy, making for absolute perfect little bite-sized flavor bombs. The Paneer Tikka Tandoori was marinated beautifully with amazing depth of flavor, finished with a great char straight from the tandoor on the paneer, peppers, & onions, plus just the right touch of spice. Dipping it into the mint chutney swirled into yogurt sauce was delightful. The butter naan was to die for with its warm, amazingly buttery, perfectly baked texture. To top it off, the mango lassi was great & very tasty, even though it comes served in a plastic takeout cup. The food was so good that I ended up ordering more to go to share for lunch tomorrow! My only real complaint is wishing they weren't so far away. Overall, it's a fantastic spot if you're looking for authentic, delicious, flavorful Indian food & warm service over fancy decor.

Came here for the very first time today with my brother Peter and his daughter Kristina. Based on…read moreall the overwhelmingly positive reviews on social media, we decided to try the daily All You Can Eat Lunch Buffet for $24 per person. I'm 65 years old and have lived here on Long Island all my life in Suffolk, Nassau and Queens counties. I've been to many different restaurants over the years....and the Lunch Buffet at Saffire has to be hands down THE BEST dining experience that I've ever had in terms of FOOD, VALUE and absolutely the HOSPITALITY. It's great to be able to find such a new and wonderful Indian restaurant. THE FOOD: So let's start of first with food. An absolute 15 OUT OF 10 STARS!!! The Goat Meat was the most TENDER and TASTIEST I've ever had! The Tikka Marsala Chicken and Tandoori Chicken were also incredible. The Vegetable Samosas, Curried Spinach, Haka Noodles, Rice and Naan Bread...all were amazing!! And the Mango Lassi with Rose Petals was such a sweet and welcoming accompaniment. Without a doubt, Saffire has THE BEST Indian cuisine that I've ever had!! THE VALUE: What more can I say other than an ALL YOU CAN WANT LUNCH BUFFET FOR ONLY $24??? Most SOLID VALUE on Long Island...period!!! Definitely looking forward to coming for dinner to experience some more WONDERFUL tastes of India!!! Check out their menu at https://saffireli.com/menu THE HOSPITALITY: I can say with absolute truth that this is the very first restaurant that has ever made me feel like a treasured member of the family from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we walked out. ***I have to especially thank MICHAEL for his SINCERE PRESENCE and ABSOLUTE EXCELLENCE in making sure our first visit exceeded all expectations. The time we spent conversing with him today GUARANTEES a return visit to Saffire. And thanks to Michael's recommendation...I also discovered how much I like Chai Tea. Michael also introduced us to the owner Chani and his lovely wife so we could express to them directly how positive of a first visit we had. Meeting them both also enhanced how welcomed we all felt. We also loved the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. A wonderful environment in which to enjoy a truly delicious meal. So to summarize: AN ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS LUNCH BUFFET AT AN AMAZING VALUE, ALONG WITH THE WARMEST AND SINCERE HOSPITALITY YOU'LL EVER EXPERIENCE!! Please visit Saffire...and ENJOY the experience!!

It was not even remotely near as good as Khyber, and I couldn't even finish anything. It really contrasted how amazing the staple dishes like naan, samosas, and curries are at Khyber (which has never, ever made me a bad dinner). This is the best Indian joint on Long Island AND the best over NYC's downtown best. And it's clearly ruined me for other Indian restaurants! Second original review: It's 11/21/2020 and I am currently eating an impossibly hot (temperature), perfectly delicious butter chicken. To recap, I order from here whenever possible and would literally eat here nightly if I could. The chicken in the curries is SO well cooked, not just regular chicken in a sauce. If I could give 500 stars I would. Somehow the food makes it the 8 miles to my house piping hot and perfect every time. I've eaten Indian at awesome places in Manhattan, Jackson Heights, and Hicksville, and this is my favorite butter chicken anywhere right now. Never got one not-delicious order and i order here 2-4x a month. Amazing and reliable and everything I've gotten is so good. I wanna try other dishes but the butter chicken is just so great I never manage to. So to reinforce my first review, I know a place. It's this one. :) First original review: Tonight wasn't our first order from Khyber, and there are hardly any Indian places delivering to Babylon. Uber Eats had free delivery and I was dying for Indian food and work has been busy. For the life of me I couldn't remember what we got previously and me and my daughter got butter chicken - probably the most popular option here, and so variable. Admittedly, i was starving and it was 9pm. Nevertheless, everything was excellent, and i've tried butter chicken everywhere on long island. Rice was a good portion, chicken was a good portion, and it was delicious. Naan was great too. Both of us hate giant chunks of onion or pepper in tikka masala or makhani and there were none! also missing were huge tough hunks of unmarinated chicken- the chicken was proper chicken tikka and so flavorful and tender. !!! Khyber is definitely going into our regular rotation, moreso because they have chicken and mozzarella sticks for her picky brother. it's super common for me to WANT Indian food, and this great experience has added Khyber to our delivery faves. Cannot emphasize how delicious it was, and the chicken was marinated properly and it's just so good.
