After a most unsuccessful first half of the day and my little get away plans were to soon be…read moredamned, I was ready to pack it in -- reload, regroup, replan. And the kicker of it all is that in point of fact, I really was not trying to accomplish anything magnificent like inventing a new form of renewable energy or debrief the Pentagon. Merely looking for a few survivor items for my stealth camping trips -- wooopie dooo -- couldn't close this undertaking a retarded clam could have easily handled. So I'm at a traffic light, and I look left, or was it right -- no, it was right -- I Always get those two confused. And it was one of those moments where time slows to a crawl. No a beautiful mermaid wasn't swimming up to me to take me away to her oasis and feed me oysters and champagne, but I'm still waiting for that one -- one day, one day. But there - in the yonder- another beautiful vision- just a stones throe from us was an Indian food spot complete with a grocery store. Bam, pulled the rig in and sprung off mr seat like a toad on a hot rock and inside I hopped, man I mean I love me some Indian food, I grew up with it dontcha know.. Across the back wall were the food offerings, I went with: garlic nanny and a lamb over rice dish. Now please note, I was offered a "hot green sauce" so when you see the photograph, don't be alarmed, it looks a bit peculiar. The portion was generous enough for two, and garlic naan was a bit dry but I didn't mind one bit. I began walking around the little grocery area whilst eating a taragon cookie (correction -- half the box) but many wonderful products were offered, some I was familiar with, others -- not so much. It only took a few moments to when the cook and the owner in the halal meat area -- knew that I was down. Indians are so classy, intellectual and refined -- I doubt much they're familiar with what it means to "be down". So I'll tell 'em, it's about being with their program, understanding and comprehension and straight up love for them and all their about.

Very disappointing experience at Desi Bazaar. We were charged for food we never received,…read moreovercharged for other items, and given different, inferior products instead of what we ordered. Customers should not have to carefully check every item and charge to ensure they received what they paid for. This experience felt dishonest and unprofessional, and I would not recommend shopping here.

Nice flavor. I got the dal, as vegan. My friend got the butter chicken. We both were really happy. Will visit again and probably will add this restaurant to our takeout Rolodex.

I ordered Chicken Malai Tikka and my friend ordered Aloo Palak. The Aloo Palak, which is vegetarian. was prepared with spinach, potatoes, tomatoes, in a beautiful onion sauce cream and spices. It was deliciously flavorful and cooked perfectly. My Chicken Malai Tikka was so tender, juicy and deliciously flavorful. The chicken had been marinated in yogurt, spices, and cheese cream, then cooked in a clay oven. The flavor of the marinade permeated completely through each deliciious and succulent piece of the chicken. A large platter arrived with perfectly cooked rice to accompany our entrees. We also ordered the delicious Sesame Naan which arrived with two dipping sauces. The serving sizes were just right leaving us with enough left over for us to take home to enjoy the next day. A note: When we arrived, and during our dinner, we noticed quite a number of people coming in to pick up their to go orders which was an indication of how popular their food is. We concur and can't wait to go back to try some of their other dishes.

When we sat down it was kind of annoying because the sun was in our eyes from the window. They offered to move our seats, but the other table also was in the sunlight. We ordered a chicken kebab as an appetizer and got the mix grilled plate as an entree and goat Karahi. The mix grill plate was huge and came with like 5 different types of meat dishes cooked various ways of chicken and lamb. My favorite thing from the grill platter was the green chicken and the red chicken. It comes with tomatoes, and red onions as well. The goat karahi was good too the sauce was very flavorful and went well with the garlic nann. We also got a mango lassi, we found out half way through our meal that they forgot it and when we got our bill they charged us for 2 so they gave us a cash refund. Overall it was a nice place lots of families were there with their kids.

Friendly service and a lovely ambiance top it all off. Highly recommended!

The…read morerestaurant has a casual, welcoming vibe and is known for serving authentic Pakistani cuisine with bold, rich flavors. We started with appetizers like vegi samosas, spring rolls, pakora, and aloo tikki. Everything came out fresh, crispy, and full of flavor, making it a great way to kick off the meal. For the mains, we tried a mix of dishes including lahori channa, beef haleem, beef nihari, butter chicken, chicken pulao, and vegetable noodles. Each dish had its own depth of flavor, from the rich and comforting slow cooked curries to the perfectly spiced rice and noodles. The nihari and haleem especially stood out for how hearty and traditional they tasted. These types of dishes are known for their deep, slow cooked flavors and are staples in Pakistani cuisine. We also had items from the mixed grill along with fresh naan and white rice which tied everything together perfectly. The portions were generous and great for sharing. To end the meal, we tried desserts and drinks like mango delight, fruit custard, and rooh afza which were refreshing and a perfect sweet finish. Service was friendly and the space is great for groups or family style dining. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're looking for authentic Pakistani food with a wide variety of options and comforting, flavorful dishes.
