I took myself on a lunch date here. This is the series where I romanticize my every day life. I have been craving Indian food for days, and finally I got my fix. I had the flaky paratha with chicken tikka masala, and simply divine; this is a true flavor bomb in your mouth without a doubt. I already know I am coming back to try the samosa chaat here. The mango lassi I was disappointed in .I'd had my fair share of mango Lassi throughout the years, and it was nothing special. Otherwise I loved my lunch date ,and will be coming back next time I'm near the outlets. read more

WeDesi in Tanger Outlets, Deer Park, NY, is the perfect place to fuel up before a shopping spree! Everything we tried was amazing, but the curries are the true standout. The gravy on the Butter Chicken and Paneer Makhani is genuinely the best I've ever tasted--it's rich and absolutely mouth-watering, not basic at all. You must try the drinks, too! The Chai is so good we couldn't stop ordering it, and the Mango Lassi is delicious and perfectly balanced (not too sweet). Combine this fantastic food with extremely kind staff and great vibes, and you have a total winner. Highly recommend! read more

Impressed with the quality of food here even though it is at the local factory outlets. I love their snacks like the aloo tikki burger. Good variety of Indian vegetarian options here if someone is looking. Pretty big interior and service was quick so you can get back to shopping I guess. I find it a good alternative to the run of the mill food joints at Tanger. read more

What can I say the food was packed with flavor and was overall delicious! The service was quick and you can easily take these plates to go or sit down and eat if you prefer. It's a very laid back atmosphere and I love the mural. I'll definitely be coming back. If you're looking for authentic tasting good Indian food this is the place to be! read more

We had the pleasure of visiting Wedesi at the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park, and wow -- this hidden gem truly blew us away! From start to finish, the experience was full of flavor and warmth. The goat curry and daal makhani were absolutely delicious, perfectly spiced and comforting. The chicken tikka was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the samosa chaat and saffron rice were equally impressive. Refreshing beverages like the mango lassi and pineapple refresher were the perfect complement to the meal. We ended our feast with a classic rasmalai, the perfect sweet finale to an unforgettable meal. Wedesi is authentic, flavorful, and truly a must-visit if you're on Long Island. Highly recommend adding this spot to your list -- a hidden gem worth discovering! read more

I'm not very familiar with Indian food, but I saw the advertisements for this place while shopping at the outlets and decided to try it before heading home. The restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated, and the man at the register was very friendly, which I appreciated. I was in a bit of a rush when ordering because my friend didn't want anything from here, so I ordered the half chicken with rice to go. I didn't end up eating it until the next day, but when I did, I was disappointed. There were only a few small pieces of chicken and the rest was mostly rice. I was expecting a more balanced portion, especially since the menu mentioned "half a chicken." I'm currently on a high-protein, low-carb diet, so getting mostly rice really didn't work for me. Even though the place is clean and the service was kind, the portion and balance of the meal didn't meet my expectations. Based on this experience, I probably won't return. read more

For a quick Indian "fast casual" spot, I thought the food was okay. We had the Chicken Biryani and the Samosa Chat and I liked the chat better. I think the biryani didn't have a lot of spice or flavor. I'll give the restaurant another try as I'm interested in trying their rolls. The restaurant is located inside the shopping center. Lots of seating available when we came on a Friday night read more

So I know this is a fairly new restaurant in the Outlets and I'm actually very happy that they made a Desi restaurant. I'm always on the hunt for new foods to try. I'm so happy I came upon here. I was able to try this cuisine. Let me just say that I'm not a person for spice, but the food here is really really good. The spiciness does not linger long. So if anyone that cannot take spice, it's not one of those places where your mouth is gonna burn off for the rest of the day. It's only for a very short period of time which I enjoy. I was able to enjoy the food that I ordered without my stomach hurting hurting with how spicy it was. I forgot what dish I ordered, but I enjoyed it. The cashier was very friendly and nice and whatever questions I had, he answered. The food came out nice and quick, and I didn't have to wait that long. It wasn't that many people so it did have some effect on that, but it did start crowding up after my friend and I started eating. Even then, I noticed people weren't really waiting that long for their food. I really liked how everything was set up. It was nice and spacious and I didn't feel like I was going to bump into anyone when I was walking to my table, to get my food and to throw out my garbage to walk out the door. I cannot wait to come back again and try another dish. read more

I like Indian food in general and love this fast food take although it does still take a while to get your food. Was tasty like the pier but would like to be able to try chickpea or other option in it. Rice and bread are good. I did enjoy the chicken dish as well. read more

the tastes are amazing. The thin slice garlic Naan is so flavorous, chewy. The combination of Rice with Chichen and the spicy dal makhni is perfect. read more

Stopped on my way back to the parking lot after stopping and had the most wonderful experience! I was approached by Abhi (a worker at the restaurant) and he gave me amazing service, had me sample vegetarian dishes that I haven't ever tried before! As someone with food preferences, it meant a lot that he went out of his way to make a good experience for me. If you're in town please be sure to give this place a try! Honestly 10/10. Not only is the food and the restaurant visually appealing it is also very delicious. It truly feel like heaven on my tongue and it's VERY filling. Alongside all that the service is very satisfactory, making sure your food is out fast and you are truly satisfied. Now THAT is a restaurant I'd want to continue eating at. I highly recommend. read more

Big big Indian food lovers. We were excited to try this place. We usually go to Hicksville, so we wanted to try something new. We ordered the plate with the paneer makhni and Daal makhni with butter naan. Tasting the two curries it immediately reminded me of the frozen Indian food taste I get when I buy frozen. Not saying it's frozen, just taste similar. We were not a fan. Paneer was good. The naan bread was good, a little thin but still good. We are open to trying this place again in the near future. read more

We Desi - Paneer Makhani Dal Makhani Butter Naan - Indian Near Me - Deer Park, New York

The famed Biriyani, But here? Oh, here at this fine establishment, they've redefined what Biriyani means altogether. Instead of the delicate dance of flavors, they've served me a sad mountain of yellowish-red rice that had apparently drowned in chili powder and turmeric. No saffron, no subtle spice blend, no layers of flavor--just the culinary genius of dumping in every chili pepper known to mankind. My taste buds? Obliterated. My soul? Questioning its life choices. Let's talk about the meat (if you can call it that). Normally, you'd expect tender, juicy chicken or succulent mutton infused with flavor, right? Not here! Instead, the dry, stringy meat they served tasted like it had marinated in the air...and nothing else. Who needs marination when you have the bold, burning punch of chili powder. The white rice served is another half-baked. Mutton curry was good but the channa will take to a hospital. If you enjoy pain, a complete absence of flavor, and a one-way trip to your nearest gastroenterologist, this place is your paradise! As for me? I'll be cleansing my palate and my stomach lining elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service. I guess to save on the container costs they claim to have put two orders of food in one to go plate. But the weird thing is it is the same size as the single order dish.... If I buy three plates in food I expect three plates of food not two plates and then you claim it's the quantity of three. Never going back. read more

This is a really cute place located in Arches mall. They have an instagram flower wall and nicely spaced out tables with lots of windows and outdoor seating. The counter person who helped us was super nice. The food was fantastic. It came out hot and quickly. We had two different wraps - the chicken and the paneer. The wraps themselves we crunchy with a nice char and the seasoning in the wrap as well as the cook on the veggies were impeccable. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the wraps came with fries. We also had the fried cauliflower which was delicious - as were the dipping sauces. Great spot for lunch or to grab a bite while shopping or ahead of a movie. read more

Was at the mall doing some shopping over 4th of July weekend with the wife. I had a Patiala chicken with plain naan bread, and my wife had the and some kind of Chick Pea dish. The rice is spectacular. I loved all the unique flavors of everything. Cool open kitchen concept. Everything was really delicious. Also I definitely recommend the Mango smoothie, its really good and refreshing. I'm glad we skipped Chipotle to give them a try. will def be back next time we come shopping again. read more

Was amped to try this place and the clerk was handling other food with no gloves after handling the register. Should have cancelled here but I said give it a shot, I was hoping he'd wash his hands or put gloves on before handling my food. No luck he wiped his nose prior to getting the food in the kitchen and prior to serving my food he wiped his nose again. I complained to him and told him why. he gladly gave me back my money. Sorry won't be going back here, almost had me at Hello. Hope the owners improve their game here. read more

The food is ok but they are charging too much for that portion of food .Food quantity is very less as the price they are charging.

Food was very flavorful, well spiced and seasoned. The nan was weird and gummy. The portions however were teeny for the price.

The food is amazing! We ordered mago lassis', vegetable samosas, and saag paneer. Everything we got was delicious and the service was just as good. From the gentlman who took our order to the man who brought our food out, everyone was super friendly and exemplified excellent customer service. My family will be back! read more

Went here for the first time with high hopes as the name makes it sound authentic, however it's just another Indian spot that caters to an American crowd. The lamb chops and chicken tikka were tender but lacked any flavor. The butter chicken was the worst and I threw most of it away. The flavor profile is not Desi at all. Seems like a spot where mall attendies eat after a long day of walking around. If you are Desi, please save your money. I should have known better when I didn't see a chef. read more
