We first used Beeman Pump Company back in March 2011 when we moved into our new home with a well that supported 4 (1.25) acre properties. Bobby Beeman did a great job of inspecting and all went well. Since then we've had to have 3 bladders replaced of which one of our neighbors had a friend and we used, no problems. But, today when I called them and another company, no answer as it is a Saturday morning, March 23rd, so I look through my paperwork and find BEEMAN PUMP COMPANY's number. I call and Richie Beeman answers the phone at 8:15 am on Saturday morning. He has his crew already lined out for the entire day, but tells me he'll try to fit me in on Monday afternoon and definitely for Tuesday am. He then suggests there might be a couple of things he could walk me through on the phone to see if we can get the pump started since I checked the well tank and it is full. He tells me to touch the motor to see if it is hot, if so then will need a new pump, if not then it may be contacts in the switch. Richie expertly walks me through the process and tells me to tap the switch box slightly that the contacts may be dirty or old and viola I do as instructed and the pump starts. He then instructs me what to do if it happens again, but to be gentle as the contacts can be broken and if so then we are stuck without water until late Monday or Tuesday. I asked Richie how much do I owe you, I want to pay for your helping us and he tells me absolutely nothing. In today's world this is very rare and extremely generous. I scheduled with him to come out and do maintenance on Tuesday am where he will either clean or replace the contacts. My wife Connie wrote on the Well Folder, "only use BEEMAN PUMP COMPANY in future" and beside that wrote "Our Hero!" Thank You very much Richie Beeman!! Last night after midnight I noticed I was out of water. at 1:45 AM I sent and email to Beeman Pump. At 7:45 AM I had a call from Richie Beeman and they were on the way. It is not even noon yet and they have been here and fixed the problem. I could not be happier. They have been the Only ones we call to work on our well for about 20 years. Every single time they are quick, professional, clean up their space, take time to explain what is going on and they are fair. Absolutely the worst company ever. We attempted to hire this company to do a simple well inspection and it was an total fiasco. They refuse to schedule an appointment. They can't even tell you when they will come to your property. This wasn't even our property and the guy said "well I usually just knock on the door and tell people what I'm doing" That's not how stuff works when you are in an inspection period. After they finally showed up I called them three times to get information on what they found out. The information they shared was somewhat helpful but the situation escalated when the person refused to send me a bill for their work and demanded payment over the phone. "People always pay me without an invoice" was his reply. He finally got it through his thick head that I wasn't going to pay him without a simple bill/invoice. After he finally sent a simple one page bill with the total due on it (which was all I wanted) I immediately sent him back the form filled out with my credit card information. I asked when I could expect to receive the estimate/report of their findings, only to be told "remind me on Monday". What the??? I pay for service and I have to remind you to complete it? He then threw a fit and ignored all phone calls and texts stating "our office is now closed " or "I'm out to dinner with my wife " or the final "your measly invoice is not worth the headache ". He now uses the excuse of "I never charged your card and therefore I don't have to provide the service that we agreed-upon " We had a verbal agreement that they would go out and inspect the well and even a written invoice saying that they did and now this Guy thinks he can just do whatever he wants and not complete his end of the deal after wasting my time during my inspection period. If you want someone to make unreasonable demands, lie to you, and waste your time then this is the perfect company for you. He was very responsive and quick to help us out. He remembered everything about our well and was able to educate us about maintenance and troubleshooting for our system. Called on Sunday and they helped with trouble shooting on the phone. Came out first thing on Monday morning. Funny thing both us and our neighbor had trouble on the same day.
