As usual Beef Shack was AMAZING!! Visited the St Charles location a few times and loved it!! Ambiance is much better at the Bartlett location. They actually have low tops to sit at which is so much better for kids. My kids dream of the grilled cheese and Garlic beef is the best beef you will ever have. The fresh cut fries are to die for. Best fries in the burbs. They Always have good discounts through text and $1 shakes on Saturday. I even got a free jar of Giardiniera my first visit and still using it at home. Burgers are great too. These guys do everything right. Even their garbage cans inside don't have an annoying door. It's the little stuff and details that win me over. Just like Dixxon flannels. As much as I love Portillo's their burgers have been giving me and my wife instant diarrhea lately. read more

Love everything about this place from the hot dogs to the cheezy beef on garlic, even the burgers and the chicken sandwich are amazing. They have one of the best milkshakes I've ever had!! Ask to mix it with the red cream soda pro tip. But my favorite thing is the fresh cut fries. read more

Been back to the Shack a few times now. Time to update, although the taste has remained good the portion size and overall quality has diminished. Ordered the Beef and Cheese on Garlic bread. Beef had good flavor but the portion of beef has definitely decreased, that was not Garlic bread. Fries have remained good and I will try the Hotdogs next time. read more

My fiance called ahead to order food. After being on hold for 10 minutes, someone hung up the phone. She drove there and when she placed her order and presented a coupon, the girl at the register said "what is this"? Not her fault. She was not properly trained. When the food was ready, she was informed that they only had enough to to make one of the 3 milkshakes that she had ordered. They said that she was going to need to wait 10 minutes for the other 2. That meant the food was going hito get cold by the time the milkshakes were ready. This was at 12:15 in the middle of the lunch hour. When she expressed her displeasure to the manager, she was told "I've been running a restaurant for 30 years and I know what I am doing ". Obviously he forgot about customer service and you never want a customer to leave unhappy. She left unhappy and we will never return to a restaurant that has a manager with that attitude. Ordered after another gentleman and then started the wait. Chaos. Chaos everywhere. Another customer walks in and orders. Guess who was served first? Last customer. Guess who was served last? The gentleman who walked in before me. Today must be backwards day. My sandwich has the opposite of seasoning. Their Italian beef is so bland! Garlic bread? Couldn't tell the difference between regular. French fries were mushed into a ball. This place is so unorganized. I'm never coming back. What a shame since it's in such a great spot. read more

The food is yummy. Bread on beef sandwiches and fries fresh and tasty. But they are so unorganized. Ordered online and my order took 45 min. The kitchen is chaos. No one is in control. I watched them mess up multiple orders. Second time I came in they gave me the wrong order. Management needs to step in and retrain. Again, total chaos in the kitchen both times. read more

Ordered a hamburger, which was somewhat burnt and fries. I specified crispy on the fries (which is a selection on their menu, so you would think they would be crispy) and they came soaked in oil and not even close to being crispy. Disgusting. Will never go the Beef Shack again. read more

Beef is pretty good. Fresh cut fries are amazing and go great with the Shack sauce. Food takes a long time, and the place is so packed it's hard to get a seat. Beef shack in St. Charles was awesome when they 1st opened and we went there 2 times every 3 weeks, however, something happened as time went on - they really held back on the beef portion and lost us as a customer. They even skim on the delicious fries. Funny, the prices went up and portions went down. Now we take a pass on them. Too bad they closed in St. Charles. Not worth the trip to Bartlett if they run it like St. Charles. read more

Beef Shack is new to Bartlett and honestly it is a great add on there! I went there for my first time and the food was AMAZING! The shakes, fries, and cheesy beef were delicious. The staff is so friendly and hard workers. The managers talked to customers, which was great to know they care! Also, the restaurant is so welcoming. My wife and I are hooked on this place. We have tried almost everything at different times. The mini version of sandwiches and fries allows enough food for a lot cheaper. The fries are excellent. Tried this place for the first time last week. When you walk in the delicious smell of garlic hits you. I ordered a beef sandwich on garlic bread with sweet peppers. I also ordered a grilled cheese and large fry to share with my daughter. The beef was good. Came pretty dry so I asked for a side of au jus. Grilled cheese was a great option for my 3 year old. She loved it. I love fresh cut fries and was excited to hear they served them. But when I opened them there was not a lick of salt on them. Had to put my own salt on them. Also ordered shack sauce for the fries and it tasted great but my little 2 ounce cup that cost .55 was half full. Little disappointed. Wish they had better options when dining in. They serve you the food the same as if you were a Togo order. The food is too messy to not be served in a basket or plate. Grease everywhere. The food is great all they need help on is the little things. Going back to try a burger next time. read more
