This is one of my favorite places to get a chicago hot dog or gyro. I never have a bad experience with this establishment. The food is good, the service is great and the menu is exceptional.

Italian 3 Meatball Sub on a roll ready for 4

Friendly counter staff - prime for takeout but do have 2 tables of 2 and 4 (so a dozen people can dine in) plus 3 counter seats - prices are higher than other places closer to home so unlikely to make a special trip here. Cup of barley soup was tasty. Happy to see more meat than could fit in the pita. Perfectly cooked fries. Honey Mustard dressing was delish. Pepsi products incl. Dr. Pepper on tap.

Food, service and quality was outstanding!! Try the Philly it's actually amazing. Service was excellent as usual.

Chicken Philly!!! Best Philly and chicken Philly in the worlddd. Sub the mozzarella for American and enjoy as it melts in your mouth :)))))

Great food my fav is chicken Philly Service is great, Karen is super nice Place was clean and friendly vibes were perfect

    Gyro with fries. Pretty good.

I guess the restaurant is a to go only even though there are tables to eat at. I had to use the bathroom and they made an exception by letting me in the back and use the employee restroom. The staff said something about changing that? Odd The restaurant is decorated kind of haphazard. The decor did not make sense to me. The service was friendly. The gyro and chicken gyro were really good. And both came with plenty of crinkle cut fries. You get a can of soda with a meal. I will go back but probably just get take out.

Got the Chicago Style hot dog meal. The hot dog was skinny like a pencil, all I tasted was the bun! Terrible, fries were ok. Won't go back.

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

There is not much to it, and it looks like a typical Irish divey bar with wooden furniture. We sat ourselves at a high table next to the bar, and our waitress came by right away to take our drink order. We had great service, and she consistently asked us if everything was okay and gave us water refills. There are many different menu options; I decided to try their Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($15) for lunch. The sandwich came with white cheddar, pepper jack, and American cheeses on it, and it also had bacon on sourdough bread. The sandwich was pretty good, but it tasted dry. I wish the sandwich had some aioli or sauce to keep it more flavorful and moist, but the cheeses all mixed well, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad ($15). He enjoyed his salad and thought that the chicken was cooked and seasoned well. Overall, I would come back here because it was clean, we had good service, and the food was good. I would like to order either a Reuben or Mac and Cheese next time.

Since our first visits, which were ONLY to pickup some corndogs, we have ventured further into their menu items. THIS is SIGNIFICANTLY better than just a good "hot dog joint!" As always, when a restaurant you once loved gets new owners, you never know what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The food tasted almost exactly like how I remembered. We got two cheese dogs, one with just cheese and ketchup and one with cheese, ketchup, mustard relish and tomato. We also got cheese fries and onion rings (onion rings not pictured). The portions are nice and a small order for the onion rings and cheese fry were the perfect size for my mom and I to split. The cheese sauce is not just an artificial nacho cheese and was the perfect compliment. The onion ring batter was not greasy and had the perfect crunch. The inside was clean and updated. This is the standard "hole in the wall" set up that is perfect for locals. It's not crowded with tables, since there are about 6 true booths and then higher tops along the back wall. I could imagine it may be difficult to find seating on a Friday or Saturday night when it's busier, so be prepared. The pricing is a little different than it used to be, but everything in the world is now more expensive so can't complain! That being said- the pricing isn't ridiculous, it was $26 for all our food and drinks. I'd say this is very doable considering the area we live in isn't super cheap. The service was quick considering the food is made to order and not just sitting out. We waited about 10 minutes for our food and that was with 3 orders in front of us. My only recommendations would be: 1. I wish when I checked out they would have told me the bun for the cheese dog is plain and not poppy seed. My mom ordered a Chicago style dog with cheese sauce so hers was poppyseed, whereas mine was just plain. The food was still tasty though so I'm not upset! 2. I wish the cheese sauce cup was just slightly larger but there was still a decent amount 3. I was a little confused upon arrival because the menu wraps around the front of the cashier- not a big deal, I just lacked awareness :) Overall, my food was great, the quality was there, I walked out full and satisfied and had a great experience! I will definitely be going back, which I'm glad about because this was once a family favorite and I'm happy to keep it that way!

Well charred burger, great flavor, good toppings, and big! They have a great bun that really held up well. The fresh cut fries were good, not great, they definitely could have cooked longer and the large is a ridiculous size, more than enough to share. However, as luck would have it, I was running errands so returning to The Original Nana's had to be added to my list. The location is very easy to find. I actually missed the turn into the location but I had to do a quick U-turn. I arrived shortly after they opened but parking was no issue. They also have a drive thru if that is a better option for you. I entered the building and I am glad to see nothing big has changed since I attended almost 10 years ago. I ordered the combo of two hot dogs and a drink. This location does serve the depression hot dog, and not your traditional hot dog. However, I am sure they can build one for you with the optional toppings. Here.. their "Everything on it" is only onions, mustard and relish...and a fist or two full of fries which is all wrapped up. The fries tasted as good as I remember. They do allow ketchup and there were a few bottles around the place to get some. The hot dogs were also as delicious as I remember. It still has the amazing snap and I am glad to see nothing has changed. I wish I lived closed to this location as I would attend more often, but I am happy to see this place has changed nothing since the last 10 years.

There's a real sense of nostalgia every time I go, and luckily, the food still lives up to that memory. The hot dogs are honestly the best I've had--perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and exactly what you want from a classic Chicago-style dog. Everything just tastes right, like they haven't tried to overcomplicate anything. And the fries are on another level. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right--they're easily some of the best fries on the planet in my opinion. Now, the service... that's where things fall off a bit. It's not great. Staff can come off as rushed or uninterested, and it's not the kind of place where you feel particularly welcomed. Orders can feel a little chaotic at times, and overall it's just not a strong point of the experience. But honestly, the food makes up for it. Even with the lackluster service, I keep coming back because the quality of the hot dogs and fries is just that good. It's one of those spots where you don't go for the experience--you go because you know you're getting some of the best comfort food around. For me, it'll always be a favorite.
