Since our first visits, which were ONLY to pickup some corndogs, we have ventured further into their menu items. THIS is SIGNIFICANTLY better than just a good "hot dog joint!" The menu items SEEM routine but the thought that has gone into these menu items completely won us over. When you order JUST GET IT AS DESCRIBED, because it certainly appears that great thought went into the selections. i am not posting pictures as there is no need. Everything looks the same as it does on the menu.

As always, when a restaurant you once loved gets new owners, you never know what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The food tasted almost exactly like how I remembered. We got two cheese dogs, one with just cheese and ketchup and one with cheese, ketchup, mustard relish and tomato. We also got cheese fries and onion rings (onion rings not pictured). The portions are nice and a small order for the onion rings and cheese fry were the perfect size for my mom and I to split. The cheese sauce is not just an artificial nacho cheese and was the perfect compliment. The onion ring batter was not greasy and had the perfect crunch. The inside was clean and updated. This is the standard "hole in the wall" set up that is perfect for locals. It's not crowded with tables, since there are about 6 true booths and then higher tops along the back wall. I could imagine it may be difficult to find seating on a Friday or Saturday night when it's busier, so be prepared. The pricing is a little different than it used to be, but everything in the world is now more expensive so can't complain! That being said- the pricing isn't ridiculous, it was $26 for all our food and drinks. I'd say this is very doable considering the area we live in isn't super cheap. The service was quick considering the food is made to order and not just sitting out. We waited about 10 minutes for our food and that was with 3 orders in front of us. My only recommendations would be: 1. I wish when I checked out they would have told me the bun for the cheese dog is plain and not poppy seed. My mom ordered a Chicago style dog with cheese sauce so hers was poppyseed, whereas mine was just plain. The food was still tasty though so I'm not upset! 2. I wish the cheese sauce cup was just slightly larger but there was still a decent amount 3. I was a little confused upon arrival because the menu wraps around the front of the cashier- not a big deal, I just lacked awareness :) Overall, my food was great, the quality was there, I walked out full and satisfied and had a great experience! I will definitely be going back, which I'm glad about because this was once a family favorite and I'm happy to keep it that way!

You can't find this too many places in this area and it's a reason I'll use to go back!

For some reason after I got my food, it became extremely busy, like people were waiting for tables to eat at. They have a bathroom or two, you have to go through the back of the kitchen. The parking lot when it's not super busy is spacious. I think they have about 9 tables, give or take. I ordered the Italian beef (dipped, hot peppers on the side, sweet peppers on top, and mozzarella cheese) and the original famous hot dog. I got a large Pepsi but it was jumbo size compared to most places. The Italian beef was very juicy. The giardiniera is mildly hot, not as hot as what people say. I liked that they gave me a ton of cheese and the sweet peppers were large. This is the real gem not the hot dog in my book. The original hot dog had a nice bite to it but it wasn't amazing. The fries were hand cut and crunchy. They give you a moderate amount of fries. Service was very friendly and fast. 4.4 on Google is more accurate to the experience than the 3.5 on Yelp.

I'd arrived during the lunch rush, and there was line of folks both waiting to order and to pickup their orders. This is always a great sign in my book! The aesthetic of this space was simple yet thoughtfully decorated. The staff was also really kind and created a warm atmosphere. I really appreciated the simplicity of the menu and how there was a handful of items to order from rather than an overwhelming amount that can cause analysis paralysis. Check out how simple it is! There are four different entrees you can choose from; a kebab sandwich, roll, plate, or box. Onward to the proteins, where you also have four choices: chicken, beef, a mix of the two, or falafel. Then you pick your sauces, choose your vegetables, and BOOM. That's all you need today decide in the have the kebap entree of your dreams. I ended up ordering a beef roll, with garlic and spicy sauce, and all the vegetables minus tomato. I also added on fries and a drink for an additional $3.99. Despite how busy staff was with putting out order after order, I received my order within 5 minutes. And WOWZA was the kebap roll a fantastic size. If I wasn't so hungry, I would've eaten half and saved the rest for later!! The fries were a bit overdone for my liking, but they were freshly fried and made-to-order which I appreciated. The beef roll was fantastic. The ratio of meat to accoutrements was perfect and I loved the medley of sauces. I will DEFINITELY be ordering this meal again the next time I visit.

I recently visited Mo's Gyros during their soft opening and was thoroughly impressed! Despite being very busy, which I take as a promising sign for their future, the service was prompt and friendly. The menu is a delightful surprise, offering all the classic choices you'd expect at a gyro place, plus some unique additions like pizza puffs and homemade soups. I decided to try the double cheeseburger with onion rings, while my wife opted for a buffalo chicken sandwich accompanied by fried mushrooms. Everything was delicious! The onion rings and mushrooms were a standout, perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's not just the food that makes Mo's Gyros a must-visit; it's the whole experience. read more

Usually, I dont write reviews on here but i decided to give it a chance since I only really write google reviews when service was amazing or very poor. I went in thinking this was going to be just another hotdog joint but it wasnt. Their hotdogs were super flavorful. They offered something called a mexican hotdog? which seeing that I thought I was going to be unimpressed with it but I was pleasantly surprised by it. It had pico de gallo which i had never even imagined would go good on a hot dog but when i tell you, it changed my life, i mean it.
