Your typical restaurant and bar chain with a large menu (everything is customizable). I will say this specific location had awesome customer service, my sever even let me taste the moonshine cocktail to see if I would like it before ordering. They do have some "deals of the day" for each day of the week and lots of locations to choose from. Try my order: Chicken philly w/ extra cheese, curly fries and a Boozy blackberry lemonade (made with moonshine)

10 pc boneless wings tossed in buffalo sauce, ranch, celery, half a basket of straight fries, and a Dr. Pepper.

The cozy, neighborhood pub vibe instantly put me at ease. It's the kind of place where friends and families gather to enjoy good food and sports. The comfortable seating and friendly staff made me feel right at home. My server Amy K. did an exceptional job!

We love coming to this location! Food is always awesome, wings are perfect, beer is cold. Our server Michelle always remembers what we like, and great server.

I never change a review unless I go back twice higher or lower. I had a great meal here months ago and when I returned it was just okay. I went back last night for "Monday Night Football." they do have good TV viewing at the bar. The bartender was very nice and offered to make my drink with sprite since they were out of lemonade. It was pretty good. I ordered Fajitas chicken and shrimp on her reccomendation. The meal took a long time. You can see the pass into the kitchen from the bar. The cooks were rummaging through a container of "to go" sauces and had their masks pulled down, no gloves or hand washing in between handling food again. I was getting a hot dish, and I had a wonderful day off, so I just let it go. The Fajitas came out very hot and the burnt aroma could not be concealed. I ordered some sauce for dipping and decided to try. When she asked me I showed her all the burnt pieces I was cutting edible bites off of. She offered me new veggies and I replied "everything tastes burnt when its this burnt". Nothing. So I continued to dip the meat and shrimp in lots of sauce and squeezed lemon. I paid $22 dollars plus a tip and left without finishing the game. In addtion, I didn't feel great afterward. I had hoped this long time Riverview staple had improved for the long haul.

It was a few days before Halloween and my family and I needed a quick, early dinner. 5pm at 1916 is quiet. Only a handful of people around. We've been fans of 1916 since living in Plant City and are glad this location on 60 is close to us. Seat yourself and the bartender will come around to take your order. Looking over the menu, they have a good array of options. My wife loves the chicken Caesar salad. I ordered a special for the day, 6 wings for $6 as well as a Hell's Kitchen flat bread pizza. During the wait for our food I played a game where you can win a rubber ducky from a machine. My daughter enjoyed it but we didn't win. When we came back to the table, the manager floating around offered my daughter 2 small duckies for her to play with and keep. Once our food arrived, we dug in. I ordered my wings garlic parmesan. These were the best wings I have had in a while and the next time I want wings, I will be back for these. They were flavorful, meaty and decently sized. The crunch on these was next level and I truly hope they are the exact same the next time I visit. My flatbread was also good. Ample portion with flavorful toppings, cheesy and slightly crunchy with a tasty bread. Pairing these two smaller items together left me full but not stuffed. My wife enjoyed her salad but did note that the chicken didn't seem as fresh as usual and the dressing was way too much. Next time, she would order the dressing on the side so she can control the amount. Our 2-year-old picked from our plates but her palate is much more discerning these days and we're lucky if we can get her to eat mac and cheese. We will be back and you should check out 1916 as well.

The fish and chips are always a standout: crispy, flavorful, and done right. The whipped feta is absolutely delicious and something I find myself ordering every time, and the pretzel is really good too. The burger has great flavor, but I do think it could be even better with a thicker bun since the current one feels a little too thin for the burger. That said, it's still an enjoyable dish overall. What really elevates the experience is the ambience. The decor is beautiful, the space feels warm and inviting, and it has a unique charm that makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely a place I'm happy to recommend, and I'll keep coming back.

We don't get to South Tampa/SoHo often, so when we ended up in the area late Friday afternoon, we knew where we wanted to stop for drinks & dinner. First, the inside is very small! But it has an old, historic vibe that I love. The bathroom walls were heavily covered in graffiti (which I thought reminiscent of NYC punk bars like CBGB), however, the actual restroom facilities were spotless. As it wasn't dark yet, we decided to sit outside on the patio, and enjoy the pleasant weather. With only a few patrons sitting at the patio bar, and no one at any tables, we weren't sure of the ordering protocol. After nearly 10 minutes of wondering if we needed to order at the bar, a cheery server came over to help us. I'd forgotten the Dubliner only serves beer & wine - no liquor. But our waitress, Jamie, was incredibly helpful in suggesting something on tap that I would enjoy. And I loved my Angry Orchard draft ale (or was it cider?)! Choosing what to eat was more difficult! Although the Dubliner has a small & limited menu, we just couldn't decide.... So we agreed to split a couple of dishes. I ordered the Shepard's Pie, and was NOT disappointed! Perfect balance of meat, vegetables, mashed potatoes & cheese. Hubs ordered the Irish Nachos, and we loved the use of waffle fries instead of tortilla chips. We also split a bowl of Bacon & Potato Soup with toast... I could've made a meal of that deliciousness! Sooo good. We'll definitely be back for more of the Dubliner! I have no idea if this is a true representation of an Irish bar, but I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. And we can't wait to try the fish & chips on a return visit... We saw a couple of plates delivered to a neighboring table before we left, and were stunned at the mountain of fried fish! I'd also like to sit at the big, old bar inside, and experience that ambiance.
