I won't to start with saying they have their off times but more than not they are good to go. I believe every restaurant is like that though. Any problem has always been fixed. It's definitely a go to spot for me at lunch. I really enjoy their fried pickles and they have good sweet tea. A must IMO. It's a good size place that can hold a small crowd. A nice find in Prattville. We went on a Monday & I got their Monday special: build your own burger. We also got fried pickles as an appetizer & it was a big serving. My husband got their wings - we usually share our wings with our own sauces but we didn't this time since they only allow 2 different sauces vs 4 at other places. It was also a nice surprise that i got the option for normal or curly fries with my burger. The place was packed when we walked in but we were able to get seated & served right away so that was nice. While driving thru the area we stopped by Beef 'O' Brady's - completely forgetting it was St. Patrick's Day! Somehow we still were able to get a table. Beef nachos as an appetizer- they were really good but for the price I expected one of those giant 'you can't eat all this' sized nachos. It was fine but not memorable. Wife had a chicken bowl which she liked but I'm still confused if it was more salad or pot pie. Son had boneless wings and they were excellent. I had the fish filet and chicken tenders special that was very good as well. Overall an average experience - probably 3.5 stars instead of 3 but nothing to write home about. read more

Average (2.5), but that's not an option here, and I didn't want to give it above average Visiting Mobile, AL I saw lots of commercials enticing me to try the angus beef burger for $7.99 on Mondays! So I invited my nephew to meet me there for dinner. Only to arrive at 5p, and seeing a sign that they closed at 4p. Alas Later in the week moved on to Montgomery AL and saw adverts again, and decided to give it a second try on a Friday late afternoon. They were open and semi busy. Quite chilly inside we asked for outdoor seating , but learned that's where the smokers gather...so indoors it was! The young lady host advised they would be getting busy soon and it would warm up. She was absolutely correct! By the time we left it was cozy and people were looking for seating. The pasta (mac n cheese) comfort bowl looked appetizing but I don't eat pork and wanted a burger patty instead of pulled pork. No substitution allowed, my request had to get cleared by a manager. It was ok'd and seemingly I was charged for a hamburger with a side of mac..$12 burger $3side, vs the $10 pork and m&c. No problem, that's what I wanted. That's what I got/paid for. But for future reference I'll order as such and get the entire "burger w toppings and bread a side of fries, with mac on the side" rather than just a patty sitting atop the mac n cheese. And the serving size of this "comfort bowl", was closer to a kids menu sized meal. Slightly bigger, but def not enough for an average adult appetite In hindsight, I look at the menu, and the server never mentioned there was a hamburger WITH the mac n cheese as a topping. The burger was just "ok"-disappointed she didn't ask how I wanted it, so it came out well done and sorta almost overcooked. And though it stated it was "well seasoned", it was lacking, and the cavatappi pasta was undercooked. I did like the breadcrumb topping Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed as the place got crowded and it took awhile for us to get our checks My friend got the wings an was content, but odd you can't get a larger than 8 wings "combo basket". I ordered 10 Cajun flavored (I like dry rub) to go. They threw the celery sticks atop the wings so they were hot and wilted when we got home (most places wrap them in aluminum to thwart the heat) Admittedly the wings were a decent size (not sure if I'd call them JUMBO, but def a nice size.) I nibbled 4 when I got home, and had the remainder for breakfast The ranch dressing that accompanied them was really good and I also got a side of their hot sauce (spicey and thick!) Would I return..prob so, if I have a hankering for an angus burger. But I'd asked for it med well and though fries came w her basket..they were "shoe string like"...so ok. Our first visit ever and we have lived in P'ville for a long time. Our waiter Steven was excellent! The food was really good and service was fast. We had the boneless wings and the rib eye sandwich and both were very good. Will definitely add this to our (small) list of favorite places to dine. read more

Barf 'O' Brady's, that's the review - or at least it should be. To be fair, the staff was friendly and attentive, but the food was subpar at best. The chicken fajitas had diced pieces of chicken (not the nice grilled strips they show on the menu) that were overcooked and dried out. Don't be fooled. The Dubliner was supposed to be an entree with thinly sliced steak, grilled mushrooms, Swiss cheese, grilled brioche bread, and creamy mashed potatoes smothered with savory gravy and a side of fresh steamed broccoli. Instead, it resembled a Banquet frozen dinner, but lacked the ability to taste as good as one - and that's not saying a lot! The broccoli was so overcooked you couldn't even eat it. The gravy wasn't "smothered" it was just lightly splashed about, making it difficult to choke this meal down without ordering several more drinks from the bar. Oh, wait a minute, I get it now! Great food options. Definitely need to change out the oil for the fried foods. But tasty nonetheless. The one thing that throws me off, none of the waitresses are wearing any clothing that identified them as staff of Beef O Brady's. So I eat here every week and have not had one problem with anything. The wings here are in my opinion the best in town and not small like most places! The Tacos are delicious with the Poblano sauce so good I normally get chicken or steak but am told the fish tacos are good as well. Mike the Manager is great and you can tell he loves what he does. They have karaoke on Tues nites so it's a great place to bring the family. They also have an outside patio to eat at plus a tin of TVs. Definitely recommend!! read more

Sat at the bar and several servers stood directly in front of us and didn't welcome us or tell us anything about the service. First of all I must say that the food was great. However, my family/friends will not return due to the atmosphere that we experienced during our stay tonight. We decided to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the nice weather, but soon regretted that decision. The table beside of us asked if they could smoke while we were there. We nicely explained that my son had asthma and wished they would not, but they insisted that the smoke would only go the other direction. As our time went on others joined their table and each one continued to smoke. They also continously mocked having to smoke in a direction where it wouldn't "disturb" our table. In the middle of our meal they began smoking pot which infuriated us as we had 3 middle school boys with us (1 of which has asthma). Throughout this entire time the servers continued to come outside and disregard the smoke and "other" activity. Other customers on the patio were very displeased and ordered their food to go (again a shame!). I travel often for work and always prefer to dine outside when it is an option and never have I experienced this type of annoyance while trying to enjoy a meal outdoors. Much likely while my children are with me. This is a shame for a town such as Prattville where many people frequent outdoor dining with their children. We most certainly will not be back and our family members who have become "regulars" here will certainly not return as well. Saddest part is that the servers were actually allowing this behavior to happen without considering the other guests dining on the patio. This is our go to place in Prattville. We are not sports folks so we could care less about that but the service is spectacular here. Our food has always been great. We thought we would try somewhere we had never been. MISTAKE!!! The service started off with a five, but she ended the night with a two. She claimed that she had been taking care of another party; but you finally returned smelling like a smoke barrel. The appetizer, a steak quesadilla, taste good. However, my entree was awful. We got the smallest wing basket in the signature sauce for an appetizer. The wings were good and the sauce had a vinegar flare which I LOVED! I got the Cuban which was delicious with slaw. The slaw was mayo based and sweet, very good. The BF got a turkey wrap with fries which I am assuming was the BOMB because once the food came I did not hear him speak a word until his plate was CLEARED! Beef's is a sports bar, it was 1 block from a former job, and just had to stop back in. My go to meal here is the wing basket - fried as this is alabama. The chicken is tender, juicy and perfectly fried, the fries are not so good. As they tend to get soggy at the bottom of the basket. I always have the salad with it, and it is as always crisp.
